SamsungSM-P580 - root, TWRP, etc. = PROBLEMS!! HELP! - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

UPDATED: I was able to get the tablet restored. So I re-installed TWRP, etc. and now when it boots up into TWRP recovery mode, it tells me that It it has an unmodified system partition, showing a lock on the screen and asks me if I want to keep the system read only. When I try to use the "Swipe to Unlock" bar, nothing happens. HELP!!
I have a Samsung Tab A SM-P580. I want to root it so I can use my SD card as internal storage. I followed a couple of procedures but now the tablet is showing a black screen with a couple of blue lines then a number of colored lines. I believe it has - or had - 8..1.0 installed on it when I started. Not sure hat went wrong or where I went wrong but I'm stuck. Can anyone out there help this brainless soul either get the tablet back to where it was or better yet, to it being rooted? HELP PLEASE? Thank you!!

Need help please

Hey, my buddy let me borrow his rooted NC running the Honeycomb Preview on it. He wanted to see what MIUI looked like on it, and let me put it on there for him. I guess I was dumb to assume this was running Android, so it must flash files like any android phone.
He has some program to boot the NC into clockwork mod recovery. While in CW recovery, I wiped data, but after this, it froze while in CW recovery! I've never encountered this, so I just decided to reboot the thing and go from there. It rebooted and directed me to the set-up screen with the green android dude with the persons hand telling me to press him
"Welcome to LogicPD Zoom 2"
No matter what I press, nothing responds. I read up on http://nookdevs.com/Flash_back_to_clean_stock_ROM#ixzz1AAsuy5td and tried to accomplish the 8 restart thing. I don't think I can complete that because whenever I boot up, it immediately puts on a splash screen that says "Loading.."
No part of the boot cycle does it say "Welcome to the future of reading"
Is it possible flashing this thing back to stock? I tried to tap into adb, so I could put it into bootloader from there, but my adb doesn't recognize it. Even with the "adbfix.bat" file.
Any help will help.
Thanks
First, load an image of CWR v3.2.0.1 on an SD card. Then, get a CM7 ROM and the market app .zip file and put them on the card and you should be good to go. Older versions of CWR tend to freeze up when wiping the cache....
In my opinion, no one should be running Honeycomb on the Nook unless off an SD card as a secondary "toy".
Well thanks for the suggestion. I couldn't boot into any kind of recovery mode, which made things kinda confusing.
I fixed my adb issue, so luckily, I could log into adb. I cleared data and cache through adb, and than downloaded the boot.img file and system.img file. Pushed those to the nook that way. Now I'm back to out of box status ready to put some MIUI goodness on here.

[Help] Nook Pseudo-Boot

So, I was running CM7 no problems. Then one day the ax just fell. I tried re-flashing the ROM and it hangs on the boot animation...so, I removed CWM, made a bootable CWM SD and flashed a few different "return to Stock.zips." One finally worked, but when I connect to Wifi, it says it can't connect and shows that my device doesn't have a serial number or a model number, so I can't get beyond that screen, and it is on version 1.0.1. So I tried using the CWM SD again to update the Firmware. When I did that as soon as I turned on the device, it locked up on a screen that says, "Install Failed, please power Off and the Back on again." So I tried completely wiping and re-installing CM7 to eMMc, and now, again it just hangs on the boot screen.
Oh, and 8 boot interruptions doesn't work for me and when I try holding the power +N keys I go directly into the "Install failed please press off and power back on to try again," screen.
My head is going to explode. Please help. I think my next attempt is going to be trying to flash an alternate kernel.

Hey I tried this, and when I flash the .zip, as soon as the device powers on it goes straight into the "install failed please turn off device and the turn back on to try again," dialog. On this screen it is black with a white stenciling of the NC. I have grown to despise this screen.
Also, anytime I have tried to factory reset, it goes directly into the install failed screen.
I have managed to get into the stock 1.0.1 homescreen by bypassing the Out of Box Experience, and even when I try to Erase/Deregister there, it stops and says device not registered, and therefore it cannot wipe. Also, when I check device info, every single one has red 000000000.
I suppose that since I'm at least to the homescreens I could try ADB, because it wasn't working either the last two nights.
Also is there anything in the LOST.DIR that could help? What the hell is a LOST.DIR?
So, another interesting thing here...whenever I go to install ADB the softkeys show up in the status bar, like its already rooted and running the stock 1.0.1 launcher bar, as soon as I unplug the USB, they disappear, so I can't even enable debugging.
Also, the NC isn't showing up on the ADB device list.

[Q] Stuck in bootloader

Hello people, sorry for the long post, but i hope theres sufficient information to help you help me.
So... I come here to ask for your help and opinion. I need your guidance.
History: I was using my Moto G (2nd gen) to control the Smart TV Youtube App when, suddenly, my phone freezed completely. I tried to lock/unlock the screen and to turn off but it reset by himself and i was "oh, ok, good". Well, not so good. When it turned on again it showed the Motorola blue logo screen but turned off. Then turned on again, showed the logo, turned off and stayed is this loop until the battery went dry. After recharging i tried to turn it on again, but the same thing happened. I also tried to enter Recovery and Factory Reset but, again, the same thing happened. It doesn't even shows the screwed android logo upon recovery selection.
I made some research hoping there was a way to access the internal memory, to backup everything i could, before sending it to the technical assistance (i would copy even system files if possible).
I connected via usb to my computer, tried adb, tried fastboot, nothing worked.
Reading about fastboot stuff i found this comments on a website ( lifehacker .com/the-most-useful-things-you-can-do-with-adb-and-fastboot-1590337225 ):
"Another thing that most guides out there seem to miss.... If you need to do something in a custom recovery ROM, you do not need to flash it. You can just directly boot it from a local image on your computer using adb. A lot less destructive.
Something like:
adb boot CMR.img"
"I don't think he means "destructive" in the sense of it harms your phone. But rather, that using one recovery does not mean you have to eliminate the previous one. Say you want to try out some feature of TWRP, but you really like Clockworkmod Recovery. This would allow you to run TWRP temporarily, while still keeping Clockworkmod as the default recovery.
Sort of like using a Live DVD to boot into Ubuntu without destroying your Windows partition."
Now my question(s) is(are): Can I do something to save some data without compromising my warranty, so I can send my phone to Assistance later?
If I can flash the ROM (and access my data), do I need to unlock and/or root the phone? Is this process reversible?
I hope you can help me, thanks.

Help ! Phone doesn't boot anymore

Hi. I have note 5 sm-920c with multiBoot,AryaMod ROM installed as primary rom and DrKetan secondary. All well and fine since this morning when I tried an app that changes resolutions (I changed to 1080x1920 and things stared crashing: systemUI, AirView, etc). After rebooting there wasn't anything on the screen but the wallpaper. So I connected the phone to USB and ran a few ADB commands to restore the resolution. After restaring everything was back to normal. Then out of the blue my phone restarted by itself and went into a bootloop: showing the black screen with samsung galaxy note 5 (and the little red text kernel is not seandroid enforcing - because of the multiboot) and immediately restarting. It wouldn't even get to the bootanimation. So I entered recovery and first wiped cache and dalvik - same thing happened. Flashed multiboot cleaner - same thing happened.
So now I'm trying to do a full reset to install a new rom. And the phone restarts DURING the reset while being in recovery. That's what scares me - because I haven't seen anyphone do this (it's not my first flashing exp). It doesn't even go into bootloader, it just keeps restaring. Only thing that works in the custom recovery - CWM.
Do you think it's a hardware fault? Like the sdcard failing? Or just software. Should I keep on trying flashing something from the phone since the files are there and I can still access them? Can I flash anything from Odin without entering the bootloader?
I'm asking now because I think it's serious and I don't want to **** it up anymore than I already did. Warranty is a NOGO right now, I at least have to get it to stock recovery even if the knox bit is tripped.
Any help appreciated.
