I have a 8" Tab S2 that I installed Lineage on and I'm going to sell it so want to set it back to factory Samsung firmware. Anyone have instructions available?
Thanks.

go to https://samfrew.com/model/SM-T710/ and pick your model# from the drop-down list (My tab is sm-t710) and then get the firmware for your region. The download is slow as hell, but it's the only place I've found with all/most of the latest firmware zips.
Download odin then flash:
Flashing guide:
1. Download and extract a zip file containing your desired firmware.
2. Open Odin Tool.
3. Boot your device in the "Download Mode":
Press Volume Down, Power and Home buttons at same time for 5-8 seconds until download mode is active.
4. Connect your device to PC via the USB cable while in download mode.
5. Next, check the "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" options in Odin Tool.
6. Hit the AP/PDA button then browse and select a tar.md5 file from the extracted folder.
7. Finally press the start button to begin flashing the firmware update on your device.
My device SM - T810
From Lineage OS 16 I wanted to go back to Android 7 (T810XXU2DRH1_T810DBT2DRH2_HOME.tar)
Flash process everything ok, but then boots only until the message "Android is started"
then back to the Samsung lettering and that in a continuous loop
Anyone have an idea how to fix that
Habe Odin3_v3.14.1 zum Flashen benutz
Even solved with 3 part Rome

boot into recovery and wipe cache/format data... I ran into a similar bootloop, but was able to boot into recovery:
Once the tablet runs out of battery.. connect your power cord then:
1. Press and hold Volume Up + Home + Power button for a couple of seconds.
2. Release all buttons after the Samsung Logo appears on the screen.

Hello,
So I have a galaxy mini s5570i version and I tried to flash recovery on it. As i realized Odin can't seem to identify this version, I might be wrong tho, god hope so. So i tried to find another way of flashing it. I managed to get root on it (with an update.zip) but I couldn't find any cwm for it, so at last I tried my luck by putting the s5570 cwm 5.2.0.8 touch recovery on it via the original recovery.
Now the phone hangs on boot logo, I assume it can't find the system partition or something like that.
I'm still able to get into stock recovery and download mode.
What are my options?
Can I get custom recovery on it via odin or sd card or somehow?
Can I get back to original Android at least via sd and downloaded stock ROM and update that?
Thanks in advance
Your Phone is Probably soft bricked.
If your phone can go to odin mode, (Vol. Down + Home Button + Power Button) you are saved.
1. Download this: S5570I.rar
http:
//www.
mediafire.
com/?0ct2k0ujc4ys9z7
Extract it
2. Open Odin3_v1.84.exe
3. Press BOOTLOADER and choose DefaultCalData....
4. Press PIT and choose tassve_0623.pit
5. Press PDA and choose PDA_S5570I....
6. Press PHONE and choose MODEM_S5570I....
7. Press CSC and choose GT-S5570I-MULTI....
8. Shut down your phone if it isn't
9. Reboot it in ODIN Mode (Volume Down + Home + Power)
10. Press Volume Up to enter The Odin Download Mode
11. Now the ODIN should recognize your phone (Yellow text comes up in the program LEFT upper corner)
12. Press start
13. Just wait and your phone will auto reboot.
Change the language by pressing the bottom right button when booted, because it will start at some language i don't know
I Split the Link because i have not post 10 posts yet Just Copy it.
Click Thanks if this works for you
YOUR ODIN MUST RECONISE IT (Yellow Box at the left) AND USE BOOTLOADER FIRST!!

Hi. I flashed my S6 G920F with a (wrong) recovery.img and now it hangs up at the first boot screen. "...powered by Android".
I can restart the device with Vol- & Power button, but cannot access the download menu (Vol+ & Power & Home).
Any ideas how I can get access to it?
Odin, Kies 3 or SmartSwitch did not find my device.

Let me correct you Recovery is Volume UP
Download mode is power off them power with VOL DOWN And home all at once Don't do it from a bootloop state
Power it off by holding power till it goes off BEFORE it tries to reboot into the bootloop and then quickly trigger all 3 at once usually VOL down first

Make sure you just flash the correct twrp With Odin. It will be in a .tar format since you'll have to use Odin .
Just Google tmobile s6 twrp and will take you to twrp main page find the tmobile version that clearly says it's tmobile compatible .
Usually sprint and vzw versions are separate
I did this all once before .
This will get you back into a custom recovery and allow a normal reboot of the device
Do yourself a big favor and run a backup in twrp .
Best of luck

My Tab S2 T713 is currently running the latest stock Samsung rom. I want to install Lineage 15.1
I've downloaded twrp-3.2.1-0-gts28vewifi.img.tar & Odin 3.12.7. I can boot into download mode, flash TWRP with Odin which says success & my tablet reboots normally. When I power down & reboot into recovery TWRP gets over written by the stock recovery.
If I uncheck Auto Reboot in Odin, after flashing success, I'm still in download mode - I've read that I need to boot directly into recovery from download mode - how do I do this?
In download mode pressing home + voldown + power reboots normally. Pressing home + volup + power does nothing
What am I doing wrong?

https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/development/twrp-3-0-2-1-galaxy-tab-s22016-sm-t713-t3390627
Instructions:
Flash with ODIN 3.10.7 in the AP slot.
Put your device in DOWNLOAD mode.
Uncheck Auto reboot.
Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
After flashing and ODIN reports PASS immediately reboot to recovery by holding POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.
As soon as the screen goes blank change to VOL UP whilst still holding POWER + HOME.
You should now see TWRP recovery.
Brilliant - thank you. Why they can't have they have that in the Lineage install instructions?
Now running Lineage 15.1 = happy bunny

For the love of god, thank you. This wasn't in the LineageOS instructions. But I still can't install it, it says my bootloader isn't supported (T713XXU1APG1).

Good to hear! Please make sure you give a thumbs up to anyone who helped. It really keeps the community alive and kicking!
I found that I had to do this from completely powered off state:
press home + volume up + power
wait until second "sentence" appears on screen in yellow (the first "sentence" is blue),
Then release all buttons
twrp now boots.
for some reason, my internal and external storage is showing 0 mb. Anyway to fix this?
Try formatting (not just wipe) data.
Should the Galaxy Tab S2 2016 be on TWRP 3.2.1.0 or the new 3.2.3.0 for Linage OS 15?
If so, can't you just flash the update using TWRP on the img file, or is ODIN on the tar needed?
OK, I updated to TWRP 3.2.3 using TWRP Recovery and the img file. Appears to work fine.

Sorry to revisit this issue. I can't get TWRP going on my S2 Tablet. I understand these instructions, but at the end of the ODIN installation there are two possibilities that I can see. If you set the ODIN to automatically reboot then you cannot do the above because it says to do it from completely powered off.
If you don't set ODIN to reboot automatically I can't get the tablet to turn off. I can only get it to boot by holding home+volume down + power. How do I get the tablet to power off before booting??
I am using ODIN 3.14.4 and TWRP-3.7.0 9-0-gts28wifi.img.tar and my stock firmware is NRD90M.T713XXS2BSG1 with Kernel 3.10.84-14953299
Thank you.
Hey guys,
So I'm having issues trying to fix my Samsung Tab A 10.1 ( SM-T510 ).
At first I was trying to install a custom TWRP recovery image, and I had a boot loop where it kept getting stuck at the SAMSUNG splash screen(not the initial samsung boot screen that shows TAB A 10.1). I however overcame that issue by factory reseting and through some additional tinkering.
Now the part I'm starting to regret.
I tried once again to flash the custom TWRP to the tablet, but this time I forgot to tick the "autoreboot" setting off.
So ODIN shows a PASS for the flash, but now when the tablet boots its stuck in the following boot sequence:
START:
Initial Samsung boot screen asking to press power button to continue due to unknown boot image source etc
PRESS POWER
SAME INITIAL SAMSUNG BOOT SCREEN minus the power button prompt, lasts for about 3-5 seconds
REBOOT
Now I have managed to get into download mode with the tablet connected to a computer.
I CANNOT get into recovery mode to factory reset the tablet, which was the solution the last go around.
I am starting to think that the only way I am going to get the tablet back in original working order, or any working order for that matter is to:
A: LOCATE original firmware for my device, I believe it is GTAXLWIFI firmware for my device. However the files I have found don't seem to be accepted in ODIN...
B: Try to continue on with the TWRP process, which I have tried to reflash the TWRP recovery that I have, and it shows pass. But, the issue persists.
Any suggestions or help would be amazing!
Thanks!
Timing is the key
Set your finger on position where you gonna restart the device.
Hold power + vol down
After the screen restart switch soon as possible you finger to set to recovery by
Hold vol up + down + insert the USB C cable
Remember timing is the key. I have done this for several tabs that screw on my home so you are welcome bro

I think "restarts" may be confusing. Switch from down to up as soon as the screen turns off.

You can use frija.exe to get the latest stock firmware. To get TWRP you MUST boot to recovery before system. If you allow the tablet to boot to system first, it will overwrite TWRP with the stock recovery. Do this by pressing vol down and power till the screen turns off. As soon as it does, switch from vol down to up while still pressing power and keep holding both till the red warning message appears. You also need to leave the cable attached to the PC while doing this.
Unfortunately I flashed a bad Rom to my note superiorOS rom.
As a result the put is stuck on superiorOS boot logo
I cannot with any of the usual key combos get into recovery mode or display the download mode screen.
I have tried to refresh with odin but although with the superiorOS boot logo it shows as connect to odin it will not get past setupconnection.
Any help would be really great.
Thank you in advance

If you're using Note9 you can try the following:
- Connect the usb cable to your pc
- Make sure you have the drivers installed (one way to do this is installing Samsung Dex for Windows)
- Press and Hold the Volume Down + Bixby button + Power Button
- After around 7 seconds, the phone should enter Download Mode and you can flash again with Odin or others
Another thing you can do if you have TWRP is first enter on Download mode, choose Restart and immediately after press and hold Volume Up Button + Power Button and it should enter Recovery Mode and boot TWRP

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately I have tried all of those options and none work. My note 9 connects to the PC when I connect it, and shows as connected in Odin however the screen os stuck on the new roms boot logo. When I try and flash firmware through Odin even if I am using the .pit file odin get stuck at setupconnection.
