Is Realme X2 Pro compatible with qc 2.0/3.0?
I´m using an Aukey charger qc2.0, and when it reaches 75% aprox, it stops charging.
qc 2.0 uses 12V, 9V, 5V
I´ve made some troubleshooting, using a safety usb tester (V, A, W, etc.) and I discovered that when changing from 9V to 5V charging mode, it freezes!! and stops charging. I started at 30% battery level, charging at 9V 1.9A (17W), and reaching 75%... Intensity dropped down to nearly 0A... was no charging... I unplugged it, wait 1 min, plug it again, and it started charging again, but at 5V 1.33A (7W)...
with other mobile phones and same charger (Aukey) it changes from 9V to 5V without stoping, so I am worry if it is a problem of my Realme unit...
Can anyone confirm this?¿?¿?
Thanks in advance,
Qualcomm list doesn't include realme
https://www.qualcomm.com/documents/quick-charge-device-list
But I'm my experience should be, I'm using a zmi car charger and Xiaomi 6 port charger with QC and in both charges rapidly
At work I'm using a leeco charger, and stop charging at +/- 70%
I don't know why

Thanks!
There must be a compatibility problem,
Maybe, if you unpluge and plug it again it will charge up to 100% (it works for me)
Let´s see if it can be solved in next software update, I will try to contact Realme support to let them know.
My charger at work also supports QC 3.0 (not oficially, LeEco Model EQ-248CN).

Bit late to the party...
My phone does work fine with QC. Charges at 9V2.1A until about 60-70%, then drops to 5V2.1A. At about 90% it drops to 5V0.6A until 100%.
My QC3 charger from Aukey also faces this issue. Charging to 80% and then it stops... Still the same after update to c27...

Right now I have a 40W Anker 5-port USB charger which works rather well. That is: for current devices. Each output supplies enough juice to charge the connected device as fast as with it's supplied stock charger.
The Mate 8 however can draw 18W's of power to charge quickly. The Anker does not supply this much, even when only using a single port.
Has anybody seen (and tested/confirmed) a Mate 8 quickcharge-compatible multiport charger yet? I know that there already are some quick/fast charge models out there but I read in numerous reviews that the Mate 8 apparently needs it's own charger to reach the high loads/speeds.
Tested and confirmed that QC 2.0 chargers doesn't work well with out Mate8
Original charger is the best!
indeed, unbeatable 100 min charging time from 9-100%

Yes buddy, it's unbeatable.
While checking on the voltages, I found that QC 3.0 chargers will work.fine with our mate 8. Hence I tested with one Aukey QC 3.0 certified multi charger and it's close enough but still 15min late then original Huawei charger
I've noticed that the huawei charger ramps up to 9 volts right away when charging and the QC 3.0 starts off a 5 volts. This is all at about 84% on the phone. What after market charger is this aggressive that I can purchase in the US??

To experience full charging speed, you have to find chargers that support Huawei's Fast Charging Protocal (FCP). Merely having a charger that can output 9V2A is not enough. Chargers that support FCP will also be compatible with Qualcomm quickcharge, but not necessarily vise versa.
Someone using quick charger 3.0 can tell me does it support quick charging or no ? I am thinking of buying one so does it support ?I am using NOS ROM with clarity kernel as of now
I hear santoni just support qc 2.0

Yes. It support QC3.0. I tested it with GreenCell QC3.0 MultiUSB Charger and Xiaomi Mi2i Powerbank - charging time is reduced by approximately 30/40 minutes

What is the voltage you receiving ? 9v,12v or 5v and amp as well ?
I checked it too. During charging, the charger regulates between 12 and 9 V voltage and 1.5A at 12V, 2A at 9V and 2.2A at 5V. When charging with the QuickCharge charger the biggest differences can be seen at the time of charging the first 40%, while in the later phases also large differences are visible, but not on such a large scale.
I ordered an A2 and a QC 3 wall charger, I'm considering also a car charger, but seems not that needed.
Please tellme... About your Chargint times (Half/Full) on basic wall 5V2A Chager, and QuickCharge 3.0/4.0 chargers, also on car chargers as well
Also, Does anyone tried an iPad charger?
On QC 2.0/3.0 ? form 10% to 100% - around 1h 10m ( not sure abot QC version but was fast charging icon )
I was measuring charging time with stock charger, here are my results:
Greetings everyone,
I have charged my phone with stock charger that came with it, by the way I have global version. 5V=2A)
After a 30 minutes my phone was at 54% i was surprised with percentage!
After an hour I had 92% of battery charged.
Battery fully charged at 1:13.
I want to ask, how fast would battery charge if I use QC v4.0?
Thank you in advance,
DarkoMiA2, :fingers-crossed: Bosnia
Got mine today. I don't have any qc. But have mi power bank which have qc 3.0 capability. I am using but phone doesn't show any quick charge indicator. Is it normal?
I can't find the link to buy a QC 4 charger(I'm from India). I can't find anyone who has actually used snd tested the device with QC 4 either.

As of now there are no QC 4.0 charger in market... It'll take couple of months before they get on shelves for sales.. Till then use QC 3.0 or stock charger.
PS, or you can buy mi 3i power bank, it has QC 3.0 capabilites and when QC 4.0 chargers hit the market you can buy one of those too..so then you will have a power bank and a QC 4.0 charger...

BTW, Do you have any idea about the charging % that we can expect out of qc 4.0 in future?

Why not?
It is a very good 5V charger, with Xiaomi you can expect up to 2A current, not more. Perfectly safe to charge anything, however not quickest charging option for others.

Bull*hit....
Dash charging just doesnt work on mi8, normal charge will not cause any damage on any other phone or their battery.
you do not necessarily need a original charger from your phone manufacturer.
The phone negotiate how much power the battery gets not the charger ... the charger slows down the load balance to 2,4A (2,4A*5V=12W)
With a 2,4A output you'll reach ~12W at peak due to cable limitations you'll get 10w
QC 3.0 reach ~ 18 watt on peak with variable voltage and ampere steps. (3,6 - 20v)
Same on Dash Charge, Dash uses variable voltage and ampere steps like QC but doubles the charging lanes.
You can charge your phone with any charger you get, the worst you can get is slower charging speed.

Bull****, the original MI 8 charge is QC 3.0 and I'm getting up to 3.3A on it.
It's very fast..

OKay its just your opinion but my opinion is you have no insight in electrical topics or the insight of such an charger.
optimization - the charger doesn't overcharge or use an overvoltage on your phone when its not support their specific fast charge technology it simply slow down to 5v - max. 2.4A, these charging speed will never cause any damage on your phone.
its just simple: an QC phone doesnt use the benefits of SuperCharge technology or Dash Charge and vize versa....
And trust me i've done more calibration and testing in USB charging topics and their different Charging tecnologys as you think (mobile batterys, chargers and so on).
I had several phones and several chargers and compared nearly all of them (QC, FastCharge, VOOC) and there is absolutely nothing dangerous to charge a phone with a QC charger if it is a supercharge phone.
But .... you ever can prove the contrary. I'll never stop learning but you have to tell me some facts.
Are there any other devices with the same power output? I have various Oneplus chargers, and a couple of Quick charge 3.0, but would like a spare fast charger.

You can buy the xiaomi 27W QC4 charger it does 27-35W
realme x2 pro has 50W, so something there shud fit
I've tried various chargers but the SOC was >85% so it wasn't a proper test. With most charger (QC or PD) I've gotten 15W, including with my 65W PD laptop charger. With the original charger I got 20-22W. If it's important to check the power, I can wait until it's discharged and redo the tests, which I plan to do anyway.
For travelling, I find it a lot more useful to have the 36W (18W QC + 18W PD?) cheap Amazon charger with 2xUSB-A and 1xUSB-C, which has the same size as the original charger: https://smile.amazon.de/gp/product/B07WFDTJFR/
Let us know how you get on. I tried my Samsung 25w charger, Pixel 3 charger and the Motorola 18w charger. All of them charge at 12-18w only. Stock charger goes to around 27w
I've now tried all the chargers and powerbanks that I have, QC3 or PD. All of them cap out at 16W, even though they can deliver more. I got the original one to charge with 30W (at 60% SOC).
The original charger is marked QC3 but they are probably not following the standard.
From my understanding the Snapdragon 732g has Quick Charge 4+ support doesn't it ?

Yes, i've noticed the same. Around 27w max. Today i was charging my phone and observing the batt temperature. Kinda obvious, but the hotter the battery gets, the lower charging power it will deliver. Here in Brazil the temp this week is being around 36-42°C, so i put the phone over a bar of artificial ice. As the batt temp went under 35°C, the resultant "charging current" went to around 5500-6000mA. Doing the math, it was possible to arrive at the 27w result. (~4,5V x 6 = 27w).
When the batt temp was near 38~39°C, charging was down to 2000-2800mA (resulting to around 10-12w).
I also found something strange, it wasn't able to show the charging percentage with 2 decimals, as shown in this video:

For me GAN 65W chargers (Baseus) are good and universal quick chargers.
I have made a quick test in the thread Chargers and Charging speed
