I disabled the Bixby panel but I still get everyday Upday news notifications.
How to block them ?
Search for Upday in Settings and disable the Upday app as well.

Could you show me where it is because I can't find it in settings ?
True, you won't find it in Settings. But if you search for "Upday" in Settings you will get the App Info screen as a first result. Tap on that and press Disable at the bottom of the screen. Hope it helps.

What's got me confused is the toggles for "Hide Information". What information? Mine is un-toggled and all I see is the icons, no info whatever.

It hides your notification information. Like texts. You will get a notification that you received a text but you will need to unlock the phone to read it.

amazing! thank you mate!
I'm testing out Ad Guard at the moment, which seems to be working well.
However, because I chose to use a VPN (it was recommended) then I now have a key sign in the notification area.
I'm sure it asked me if I wanted to turn it off at the time but I said no thinking I could turn it off later. Now I can't find any setting at all!
Is there a way I can turn it off without having to give system ui Turner app permissions through ADB?

You can disable notification using your phone settings not the app settings.

How?
I can't find the specific notification for the key symbol.
Is there a setting that locks the home screens to portrait but still allows the apps to rotate to landscape?
I don't believe there is anything in Android settings, but you could use a 3rd party rotation control app like Ultimate Rotation Control. Set it up so OneUI Home or whatever home launcher you're using is forced into Portrait mode

Try Settings -> Display -> Home screen
You should then have an option to rotate Home screen to landscape or not.
I hope that helps!View attachment 4916397

I didn't even notice that setting, probably because I've been using Nova Launcher forever. That setting gets blacked out when using other launchers. Thanks for clarifying.

Since Samsung UI has come of age I don't use Nova anymore ... and UI is getting better with each update! It does all that Nova did when I last used it.
