Bricked or Boot loop - help needed

Hi people!
I got bricked my galaxy mini gt-s5570, but not totaly (that means I can still use the download mode, and RAMDUMP ARM9 mode) but I can't power up the phone. That happened after I used ODIN for gt-s5570 and changed the Kernel (I forgot to make backup before), and device was working well with the new kernel, but after it I use the same step in ODIN to get back to the old one. So the result is, when I'm pushing the power key the screen starts to blinks and nothing more! But as I say download mode, and ARM9 mode are still working. Any solution for this?
just download the new firmware from samfirmware.com n flash it thru odin as u can go to download mode..n ur phone will be back to life again..
i accidently pressed thanks on ur first post

Hard-brick....
Sent from my GT-S5570 using XDA
one packagde firmware ??
helppppp
If you can access download mode, its not a hard brick.
Just flash a stock firmware with Odin in downloading mode. After you get the "PASS" in Odin. Unplug the USB. Remove Battery and put it back. Go to Stock recovery, clear user data and cache and reboot.

no, it doesent cost something, you just need to find a good firmware to flash.

if you can ,it never be hard brick,you can seek a official 2.3.4to flash,i meet the same problem when i flash CWM by Odin,and it just show (mobile ! PC),but Ican enter download mode ,finally i flash official 2.3.4 successfully,the you Will has an original recovery,then you can do everything in recovery!!

if your phone go to download mode, then just flash it with odin with 2.3+ version of android.
try this firmware -> http://hotfile.com/dl/145766351/d0cbbbe/S5570XXKPI_SERKPI_XXKPI.zip.html
(link from samfirmware)
password to archive: samfirmware.com
BE CAREFULL WHEN CHOOSE FILES IN ODIN!
Boot -> APBOOT_S5570XXKPI_CL260130_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5
Phone -> MODEM_S5570XXKPI_CL260130_REV02.tar.md5
Pda -> CODE_S5570XXKPI_CL260130_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5
CSC -> CSC_S5570SERKPI_CL260130_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5
EFS -> nothing.
Hard-brick! You re so unlucky
You already tried flashing froyo first , and then GB ?

Hard Brick vs Bricked

I have a samsung 5830D and all signs are pointing to it being hard bricked can someone tell me if this is the case? I am able to go into download, ramdump and emergency dload mode but no recovery mode? If I am in download mode I am able to connect odin to flash the phone, pda and csc but when it restarts it just flashes the samsung logo and restarts everytime.Can anyone tell me if this phone has a chance at being saved from downing? I have followed the methods listed in these forum to a T http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1225493 and the cygwin guide and the phone still does the same thing?
Thanks

I dont think that its a hard brick as once I had my phone hard bricked and I couldnot go even to download mode so its a softbrick, try flashing with Odin and if in vain nothing can make your phone come to life, Samsung store is ur solution
I believe this isn't a hard brick, as on a samsung device you would need have to lose the ability to get into download mode to call it a hard brick.

tha only thing that u can save ur phone is to flash full package not only one package coz tha main rison why it kips boot looping is that the bootloader has the iissue and never been fixed by only one package..try to flash full package with APPBOOT and it will continue booting..

Flash DDKQ8 Rom to your phone and you will be good to go ig its a soft brick
If you can get into download mode, you never need loose hope. I wondered if people wouldn't mind me hijaking with a related issue. My Ace is, for all intents and purposes, hard bricked (about a year ago, I had no idea what I was doing flashing roms so it's well deserved). However, I found out today that it can speak to my work computer, and xp even downloaded the drivers for me. No response on the screen, but booting into "recover mode" gives 2 lights on Odin. Anyone heard of this before?
Had a long time looking round the forums, and this is actually about the closest thread for me.

[Q] s3 mini bricked :(

Hi everybody, I have a problem. _.
I flashed on my s3mini cwm touch.
I wanted to start my phone but the screen is black, it does not indicate charging, my PC recognizes the phone is not the same as Odin.
In the recovery mode I can not, and the download does not mode.
So what can I do? :crying:
Sorry for my bad english , i´m from Germany

The 3 button combo does not work because the phone does not start.
That's why I can not get into the download mode

Which method did you use to flash it?
Is your battery loaded?
First you need to check if your battery is charged. If you have a friend with s3 mini try to charge your battery in his phone.
If the battery is charged, the phone should boot. The recovery doesn't affect the boot partition. If the phone doesn't boot you probably wrote something not ok in the boot partition. In this case only a JTAG can fix your phone.
When you flash the recovery from Odin the file you want to flash should be in the PDA box. If you put the recovery in the bootloader box, the recovery file will overwrite the bootloader and your phone won't boot any more. Odin doesn't test if the file is ok for that partition. This is called a hardbrick.
If you didn't touch the bootloader partition, the phone should boot and you should be able to get it into download mode at least. I don't think there is anything you can put in the PDA box to make your phone not boot.
Try flash the stock rom again, use odin it should work even if you're phone is off, remember you had to previously installed samsung kies on your pc/laptop so you're computer recognized your phone (that's simply basic)... I've seen the tys0n dude knows a lot too he's helped other guys good luck pal.

[Q]What should I do? (Bricked Phone)

Hello, this is my first post, but no one cares. Right?
I have a little story... Today I tried to Upgrade from CM 10.1 to CM 10.2 but I had a little problem. Because I wanted to have a fresh instalation I first tried to flash with ODIN 3.0.4 official 2.3.6. In the middle of instalation... I had a power outage for 5 seconds. Now my problem is:
1. It can't enter Recovery;
2. It can't enter Download Mode;
3. It can't boot System.
When i plug the usb cable, it shows me this message: "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again. ", but that's a little strange because I don't even have Kies installed on PC. This is the only scree I can see.
I don't know how, but somehow I entered Download Mode for 5-10 seconds, but my PC doesn't recognize my phone. After that the phone just shuted down.
I already browse all topics about soft brick, but nothing helped me...
Before take my phone to a service, what are my other choices?

I can't enter Download Mode and I haven't KIES installed.
Since you had a power outbreak during Odin flashing, it might not fully flash the bootloader (boot.img file), or the fat.bin file, both of them are essential for proper phone operation.
Install Kies, and try the recovery mode in it, see if it works.
Also, try to charge your battery, maybe this will help somehow.
If nothing works, service is your only option, as you cannot manually repair a partially flashed boot.img or fat.bin.
boot.img is not bootloader,
Boot.img is kernel

Well, I installed Kies.
I can't use "Emergency firmware recovery" because my PC doesn't recognize my phone.
I can't use "Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation". When I enter the details about my phone I get "'GT-S6500D' does not support initializing.".
I don't think I have other option in Kies...
Another problem:
My phone is absolutely unresponsive.
Maybe because of battery.
I can't charge it. I have a friend with S6500D...
I will try with he's battery.
Maybe I could try some tricks to enter in Download Mode. (God, please help me!!)
Instal drivers and go to download mode !

Sorry but your phone is hard bricked so you can't fix your phone yourself.You have to send it to samsung to fix it.The hard brick was caused by failed bootloader update.But if you have power surges i recommend you to flash your phone from a laptop.

Thanks for the advice.
Please ignore the link to stock firmware without bootloader because i did not know your phone was galaxy mini 2 because sometimes mini 2 questions are posted in mini 1.And i have both mini and mini 2.
If boot.img is not the bootloader (it's the kernel, I'm sorry for telling you wrong before), then why the Download Mode does not work?

It doesn't matter... I saw it was for Mini... Anyway download mode still not working so don't worry.
Thanks for the idea of stock firmwares without bootloader... maybe i could edit stock firmwares for my phone.
You can edit stock rom without the risk of hardbrick.just upack your stock rom then delete bootloader then download a software to create tar do not use tar editor because just deleting the bootloader doesn't mean odin will load it maybe because of md5.So did you send your phone to samsung.

Well... my brother know a guy who know another guy. This guy have a service or something like that. I sent the phone to him. Maybe he could do something. If not... I will try to find the famous Usb Jig for my model of mini. I found for GT-S5570 but still searching for GT-S6500D
Fixed
Well... I sent my phone to a service but there they could only fix download mode. LOL. They tried to install firmware update, but the phone was stuck in bootloop. From there, I fixed by myself.
I will ask them how did they fix it.
