Need help with my SM-T510! - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Guides, News, & Discus

Hey modders & members,
I just bought a SM-T510 (Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019) not too long ago.
I haven't been using it for quite a while now and can't seem to remember my pattern to unlock the tablet now!
I can't go into download mode to reset factory data as well, because It's asking me for my pattern to switch the tablet off!
I'm trying to just let the battery drain but it's been 1 week and the battery is still at 90% !!! OMG!
I need to get my tablet to work again for work.
Does anyone have a solution to this?
Thank you!

Hello
Die you try to force a shutdown by holding Volume down + Power buttons ?

Solved it thanks!!!

Galaxy S Plus Turning off

Hi,
Got a SGS Plus last week from prepaymania - for an older family member as an introduction to 'modern phones' (coming from a nokia 6310i )
Anyway - the phone has decided to start turning itself off all the time recently for no reason at all. There are hardly any apps on the phone at all...the ones it came with and the usual 10 others. Using WiFi at home with the GPS off and the phone in 2G mode.
Apparently it has 'made the shut down noise' and turned itself off randomly, many times in the past 2 days and it becomes completely unresponsive afterwards (power button, front button - nothing works) & battery needs to be pulled.
Before I tell him to send it back, does anyone have any idea what the culprit could be?
Cheers.
same problem
i am also having the same problem..it turn off automatically..
i brought the same phone(sgsp) before 1 week only..
anybody please help.
I received no input on the issue from any forums, so I couldn't find a cause other than to assume that it's a big software bug that never got ironed out.
I just sent it back and got a SGS2 instead. No problems with that!
If you have the option to send it back, I'd say do so. Good luck.
I had given my phone to samsung service center.they told that's a software problem.and they reinstalled the OS...now its working fine for me.
got refund
My samsung galaxy s plus restarts very often.
finally got my full money back as refund from samsung..it has taken a long time but very happy now..
going to buy galaxy s2
Restart your phone in recovery mode and try factory reset and wipe everything maybe it wont turn off anymore but i dont know never had this problem. But you could give it a try..

[Q] My gt p1000 died, why ?

hello,
the last time I used my gt p1000, it was flashed with an overcome rom, and it worked fine.
But I didn't use much my galaxy tab , so I've forgot it for a long time.
Once, I wanted to use it again, to read some book on my bed, but the battery was empty.
I tried to charge it, and I pressed the power button because I wanted to see at least some indicator.
I saw a small progress bar, but immediately after it was shutdown .... forever.:crying:
I tried to charge it for a long time but it changed nothing.
Unresponsive to any "hard reset".
I went to a kind of "popular market", and asked a guy to see if there was a problem with my battery.
The guy said me that there was no problem with my battery, and that I should reflash my tablet.
So he sent me to another guy who explained me that my galaxy tab cannot be flashed, if it doesn't boot.
So basically my galaxy tab is "hard bricked".
So I'm not sure what I've made wrong.
If I buy an other tablet, should I avoid custom roms ?
Is there some tablets that resist more than other to bricking ?
It's a bit frustrating , that my galaxy tab got a short life, I want a tablet for at least 3 year !

Hmm, seems the tablet is rest for awhile, just connect the charger and let it charge for 3 hours , and then slowly HOLD VOLUME UP button and POWER button for 5 secs .. Let it access to factory setting mode, but do not use factory setting .. Just choose REBOOT ....Try it

I tried this before. At least how I would avoid bricking of my next tablet ?
Perhaps I shouldn't have buy my tablet in "black market", or used a custom rom.
Or perhaps it's a virus, too many hypothesis.

Stop rushing between your tablet and your life...You could avoid from bricking your next tablet, simple as 1,2,3 ... Follow the proceduce before you do it buddy

Cannot enter bootloader mode on HTC 8X GDR2

Hi everyone,
This is my first post so I hope you are kind enough to help me with this issue.
I have an HTC 8X Blue (bought it factory unlocked) and recently I have updated it to GDR2. It happened what many other HTC 8X's user had. It bricked when I was playing some music.
I found an article that has a solution allegedly (I cannot post the link but it is the most popular solution aparently). But my problem is that I cannot enter Bootloader Mode as one of the first steps requires. My phone is simply dead, I tried every combination of buttons (hard reset and soft reset), but non is responsive. Of course, my PC does not recognize it and when I plug it in to the wall the red light does not turn on!
I do not have experience in modding or flashing or what-ever process needed (for Windows Phone), but I do know pretty much for iOS so I can learn quickly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Your best option would be to get it repaired/replaced by a service center. If you're near a Microsoft store, they can take care of that for you. If not, it'll be trickier.
Otherwise, the only advice I can offer is to leave it for a while, let the battery drain entirely if you can, plug it in again, and try to start it... even if it won't boot normally, you may be able to access the bootloader mode now.
Thanks for the quick reply! I actually do not have a Microsoft Store as I live in Argentina...
I think i will try to drain the battery and restart it. Should I restart it the normal way? I mean by holding power button?
Yep, basically that.
You could also try calling HTC support and seeing if they have any other recommendations. The battery drain thing is basically just in case the phone got stuck in a weird state; resetting it that way may help.
is your phone stuck in QHSUSB_DLMODE i got my stuck there the other day. what i did was hold VOL UP, WOL DOWN and POWER all at the same time until the phone vibrated. wouldnt you know i unbricked my device.

[Q] S3 Mini with latest CM 11 suddenly won't boot up

Hi guys, I've been using this rom for a weeks now without any problems until this. I left my phone to charge overnight and turned the charger off when I woke up. I didn't touch my phone until after I got home from school and it's suddenly like this. The power button does nothing, I don't think the 3 buttons do anything. I'm stuck. I created an account just for this. I hope someone will be able to help! I also enabled Battery Doctor's cpu management when the screen is off if it changes anything. Thank You!

I hope i helped!

I'm sorry for replying so late but no, I can't seem to be able to get a response from the phone. I also forgot to do a backup which is quite stupid of me. It all happened so suddenly too. Do you think it could be a hard brick?

I am afraid it is .. always do a backup... if you get no response from Odin flashing, nor recovery it's hard brick , as far i know.
There's still 1 more way, the JIG... you can get it from ebay for couple dollars , it's like micro usb which is used for all samsung S models i also read that it was tested for S3 mini and works .. soo try that.
no response from buttons.
Old trick.. Pull your battery hold all three buttons whilst replacing battery. With a bit of luck you should get into either recovery or download mode. Then load a stock rom via odin. Hope this helps.
Another thought has your battery somehow totally drained?

Self Restart

I have got my Asus ROG Phone II for about 8 months and I have recently got some problems with the software. The phone suddenly turns off on it's own, when I am using it and stucks at the restarting process with Asus Logo and the loading bar on the lower side but doesn't open, even if I wait for a full whole hour. I have to press volume down + power off button to make it work again. I wanted to ask if any of you guys have got the same problem, or any clues how to solve it?
Well I had rooted my phone after a month of it's use and unrooted it. For about 2 Months before, my charging port stopped working and Asus Service Center fixed it, and I guess they somehow flashed my Phone, as I not don't have to download and install the new firmware. It was good in a way but I feel it is getting some lag during the use of certain apps and the problem which I mentioned earlier. I would be thankful and grateful for your replies.

Don't know what the problem is, but you've posted this in the wrong section!
I think I am in a similar situation. My phone's problem is that it kind of crash while booting up (stange lines shows on the screen like some glitch) , it doesnt boot up normally and it loops 3 to 4 times until it's left on a black screen. I am not sure of its status at this point for it is not responsive even to force restart (Vol down + Power) but it does work only once in a couple of minutes and proceeds to bootloop and back again to the black screen. I haven't rooted it but i did flash it from CN to WW which was successful and was using it perfectly for 4 months up until this situation. I dont know what exactly is the problem. Can anyone help me?
Same with me bro... Mines already bricked because of flashing it to the original version
Same here
