After patch (5 April) my xiaomi charge with slowly charge, why? Because won't charge with quick charge with the original adapter? With Samsung adapter it charge fast.
The exact same thing happened to me. It's probably a software bug in energy module and should be fixed in the next update. Also in my case if you restart the phone the rapid charge will work again with Xiaomi power brick but it'll stop at around 80% and won't work until you restart again, but with Samsung adaptive charge brick it always shows rapid charge.
I have same problem
Please help

Yesterday Note 8 SM-N950F's battery was drained to 0% after that it is not booting up or charging after battery. I have left the phone connected to a fastcharger (OEM) for 6 hours and currently trying out the same procedure with a regular charger and OEM cable. Does any one have any suggestion or solution to this problem?
I am also not sure about stack charging, read it in few blogs but could not wrap my head around the procedure.
Use both fast charger and fast wireless charger and it will turn on
@holifo I did what you asked. Thanks a lot it worked and booted up. Now at 60% it is not charging anymore. Any suggestions?
Hello! Unfortunately, it is a defect of the motherboard. You have done me too and I had to bring in assistance with consequent change of the same.
Sorry, I don't know any other solution.
Is it better if you visit a Samsung Center
i used to charge my mi A2 using mac book pro charger, more than 3 times and it's fine
but last time i charge my phone i think my charging port broken
it's only got 270 - 300 mA from ampere application and frequently disconnect, even if i charge with normal phone charger
is there a way to fixed that problem ? thank you
I have a problem with my Mi8. After update to Android 9, my phone cant charge by Quickcharge, only slowcharge. Where can be problem? I charge with original cable and charger.

Same problem with my Xiaomi mi 8 pro after update. It’s taking hours and hours to full charge using original cable and charger. The same charger and cable works perfectly in my Mi 6.
Is it OK now, after some software update?
No I updated it to MIUI11, but still nothing.
Me to same problem my phone can't exceed 400ma with all chargers
But PD chargers work fin
I think Chinese phone you can expect anything
Try to charge after single one:
1. Clean charging port (use plastic tool, can be self made from an ear stick for example)
2. Hold power button in about 13 sec - the phone will clean up temporary data
3. Turn off phone
4. Turn off phone for 10-20 min, then charge up to 100%, unplug, still off for 10-20 min, plug and fill to 100%
5. Charge off the phone. Let them to turn off. Then as same as previous point: charge up to 100%, unplug, still off for 10-20 min, plug and fill to 100%
6. Do completly wipe and install a full official ROM (download again and verify), not only update
If they're original accesories and the phone is on official kernel/fastboot/ROM/unrooted etc., the trouble can be hardware, or damaged software data.
Thanks for reply.
For me factory reset did not helped. But I discovered that with laptop charger (with USB C output) quick charge works! I was checking parameters in application 'ampere' and there is information that this charger is AC, and rest is USB. So it looks like QC works but....
@marik1, your path is quite time consuming and complicated but maybe it's worth to try
@Younes702, what type of PD are you using? What particular model? In ampere app during PD charging it appeared as USB or AC?
I have a problem with charging qi in MI MIX2s the phone is charging up to 50-60% and suddenly the charger stops flashing diode that charging was interrupted after re-loading, it charges to 90-100%
if someone has such a problem and can be guilty
try a different charger you might have a problematic charger, have tested non brand and xiaomi wireless both charge the phone just fine(slow 5w ...maybe due to custom rom? ...still charging)
I was experiencing problems too (even with the original dark blue xioami charger).
In my case, seems to be software issue. The phone charges way faster with the phone turned off. Also when on, sometimes it says that is charging slow being in the same position that charges ok with the phon turned off.
Also on a thread of the last update (still beta), someone said that the wireless charger worked better, so im looking forward to test it.
Dear all,
I have problem with my Xiaomi Mi 9t Pro, it stopped fast charging. My phone is on Miui 11, Android 10.
Some day i've noticed that i've got only 1 "thunder" icon during charging. Charging from 0% to 100% takes about 7 hours now.
What i've done so far:
- tested on charger which was included in the box - no fast charging
- tested on Xiaomi Power Bank with fast charging - no fast charging
- tested 4 diffrent cables - no fast charging
- tested on turned off phone - no fast charging
- i've downloaded last update package and install it once again - no fast charging
- i've tested charging speed on ampere - maximum is 800mah
I've found some topics on various forums but there was no solution for this problem.
Any ideas friends?
Worst case scenario it is damaged charging port. Try to clean it using thin piece of wire or needle, it's easy to clog it up so the plug doesn't go all the way into the port.
I would take the phone to a service center. Even without fast charging is not possible that it takes 7 hours to get a full charge. It seems that the charging port is defective.
Good luck.

What kernel do you use with miui? Stock or custom? Some kernels don't support charging via 5A cables. Use 3A instead. Also, clean your usb port with a toothpick and see if you can remove any dust from the pins.
