I'm unable to install the battery care App from Sony. I accidently deleted it and now I can download the apk, got asked to install it but it always fails. Any clue?
I have Android 10 running on my phone.

If the app was part of the system, please flash the stock system partition again

How to flash just the system partition?

Hi,
I have updated my firmware.
The details are:
Version-bootloader: 1.56.0000
Version-main: 4.06.1540.2
S-Off
I have installed ViperOne 4.3.0 using TWRP 2.6.3.3. However, I am stuck at the bootscreen for 15 mins. I have tried erasing cache but I am still stuck. Can anyone advise? Thank you!
Did you already try, to flash the ROM again?
And did you verify the md5 sum of the ROM.ZIP, before you flashed it?
I would try to flash the ROM again.
First without a wipe.
If it doesn't help, then flash it with a full wipe.

Yup, I did all that. Verified md5. Reflashed the Rom without wiping and wiping.
This is so weird. Never had an issue.
You made any changes in the aroma installer?
If yes, then try it again, without any customization in the aroma installer.
Try to flash it, in the stock config.

Just tried this 15 mins ago. Stock config. Still stuck.
It can't be anything to do with my upgrade from 2.24 to 4.06, right?
I'm going to redownload the Rom again. Anyway, thanks for your help! Much appreciated. Please let me know if there are other ways.

Have you tried force reboot (hold power button for 15-20 seconds)? It happened to me few times while the first boot after installation and it always helped.
Weird... Maybe flash the recovery again.
Should be quicker, then downloading the ROM.
I'm not sure if it helps but... Why not.

You should wipe all that's possible (factory reset etc.) and do new install. Backup before! Downgrade to other firmware like .257 and then root.

Or, just use CMW instead...no need to wipe...

Hello.
My phone is a SM-G903F with an android version of 6.0.1 and with an architecture of armeabi-v7a.
I have a problem because when I try to install the TWRP tar file (dl.twrp.me/s5neolte/) through ODIN it all goes perfectly well, I install it in the download mode and after installing it, it automatically resets but when I now open the recovery mode it goes in the stock recovery mode and not the TWRP recovery mode.
I basically follow exactly the instructions in this video youtube.com/watch?v=3-lwdZhdZWM but I always end up in the stock recovery mode.
Can anyone help me or suggest anything I can do?
Thank you very much,
Enrique
You have to unselect auto-reboot, shut down your phone (or remove the battery) after flashing TWRP and then manually boot into recovery.

I know how to fix custom binaries locked by system . But
Twrp does not open
System does not open
Only download mode
I got +10gb of files in my internal memory and I can't wipe it cuz its important 4 me . Is there any way to get stock ROM using Odin ( or somehow bypass it ) to just get those files back ? Then I can simply wipe everything . Any1 ? Pls :'(
When you select the home_csc file from the 4 parts firmware it should install the Rom without wipe data partition

Dirtyflash, there are risks involve I'm sure your aware. (Don't select/tick nan erase or bootloader update in odin when you flash.
Yes, flash a 4 parts firmware with home_CSC is like a dirty flash. But he want to save his 10 GB of data. After he backed them up he can make a clean flash
