A30 many issues - Samsung Galaxy A30 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I have an A30 and it was bought in Panama (IMEIs were changed there because they dont match the box) so anyways the phone is going giving me the following issues:
1) The phone shows as Custom in phone status, Magisk Manager is installed and developer options are enabled (OEM Unlocking, USB debugging, verify apps over USB, Multiple PBAP Properties)
I have to reboot the phone every few hours because it runs out of space, when I power it on it says 40Gb free but after a few hours it runs out of space and the only way to fix it is through a reboot.
The phone also shows IMEI status NG at times (when it doesnt register on the network I verify through *#0011# and it says NG but after a couple reboots IMEI status says OK and signal is ok as well.
What could be causing these two behaviors?
Priority #1 is the space thing which is driving me nuts.

D410h resets configuration everytime i restart or shutdown

I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but everytime i restart or shutdown my phone, it does reset display timeout to 30 secs, untick unknown sources and sets time to 12-Hour instead of 24-Hour.
Is there anything i can do to fix this?
I'm on official lollipop
Same here, got the update via OTA for my D410hn. I've seen reports about the same issues but I thought it was related to the beta (D410_20B) but it happens is the official update too, even if installed via OTA.
I can't do it now, but perhaps a factory reset (or wipe data in recovery mode) fixes it? I am not sure is installing via KDZ does this automatically, if yes then probably it won't fix it. I hope LG fixes these and other small bugs soon...
I was already with this problem on kitkat, i updated kt to see if the problem was gone, but no its still here.. I didnt tried hard reset yet

I have the same problem. Got 5.0.2 OTA update. After reboot the phone resets display timeout to 15 secs, turns on location GPS, and asks if I would like to use mobile data or Wi-Fi.
Same problem with me too.
Date format changes to 24 hours, GPS is turned on, Mobile data turns on, A window pops up to select if I want to turn off mobile data and my prepaid balance reduces after I choose to turn off data. Hoping for update from LG or anyone here coming up some sort of trick without rooting the phone.
Tutorial by @Andruxa666777 (translated by Google):
Take I've found Attached File com.android.providers.settings.apk (41.02 KB)
We throw it on the way ROOT EXPLORERom cust / OPEN_CIS / overlay / app / agree with the replacement and set right as all the files in that folder (rw-r - r--) All.
PS. Window with a mobile data always appears! But the setting is stored there stands before restarting, that is, if the data were mob OFF, the window will also be OFF.

[Q] Need help in updating UNLOCKED MOTO X [XT1058] to KITKAT

Hello all
First of all i'm totally new here.
I bought a MOTO X unlocked version from amazon com in January and i'm using it in India.
I received it as Android 4.2.2.
When i first checked for updates, It informed that a software update was available, but that wifi needed to be enabled (I have wifi enabled with internet access).
The "system updates" menu now gives a message "An update is currently being downloaded. You will be notified when the download is complete", however the information bar bottom right still bears an error message (triangle with exclamation mark) that returns message "enable wifi to start update download".
After several hours in the wifi location, it is clear that no software download is taking place, and no download symbol is present (other downloads - eg apps updates - work just fine and show the normal download symbol).
- There appears to be no way to cancel the error message, or the system update message.
- I have tried even using 3G data, but bo result.
After some days when i checked it showed me "Systed is upto date ". But it is still in 4.2.2 version. Even now it's showing me the same.
Can i get it updated to kitkat?? Can some 1 help me in this please?

sim not allowed mm#3

Here is my situation (this started a couple weeks ago and I am a little fuzzy with some exact details).
My phone was running a little slow, so I restarted it. After the phone rebooted, it no longer worked. I can't remember for certain if the error message "sim not allowed: mm#3" was showing at that time, but I do remember that not only was the phone not working, but the phone's imei had been replaced with a meid. I found this out when going into settings, then about device, and then into status. I don't remember when exactly the meid dissappeared and the phone started showing its imei again, but yes the imei has returned. Even though that issue cleared up, the phone still isn't right.
What's going on now.. Sometimes I get the error message "sim not allowed: mm#3" and sometimes I don't. When the message does show, maybe 50% of the time with a simple restart of the phone the message will go away and the phone will partially work (making calls/text but no data.. wifi works). The other 50% of the time I can typically get it to accept the sim by entering the code "*#*#4636#*#* and then changing the preferred network type (the same network type does not always work). When the phone will work (again, that's only partially working) it will now only use the edge:2 network type.
It goes without saying that everything I have done attempting to fix this issue has failed. I have us.d odin to reflash the firmware packs and even the modem file. The list of files I flashed are G900A_Downgrade_to_NCE.tar.md5, AP_G900AUCU1ANCE_964333_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5, CP_G900AUCU1ANCE_964333_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
CSC_ATT_G900AATT1ANCE_964333_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5,
and these files did all flash successfully. I attempted to flash G900AUCU1ANCE_G900AATT1ANCE_G900AUCU1ANCE_HOME.tar.md5 but the process failed. Unfortunately I don't remember the error message when it failed, but I will be happy to reflash it so I can get the error code for you.
I even went as far as flashing the ported tmobile rom and then flashing back to at&t, and yet again the problem was not fixed.
Just before starting this post I followed the steps listed in http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/help/sim-allow-mm3-solution-t2921741 hoping this may work, and it doesn't appear to have made any difference.
fix for sim not allowed mm#3
rooted the phone, preformed a nv item rebuild and the issue seems to be fixed.... phone is running 4g currently. no repeat of the error code yet

LTE and 3G stopped working?

Hi guys.
So a week ago my Mi5 only want to connect to edge, the LTE and 3G simply wont work.
I tryed everything, forcing it to only use LTE = No connection - same goes for 3G
I have also tryed to reset APN settings and nothing. I contacted my carrier, and they told me everything was fine.
I just tested it in my old Meizu and the LTE works fine. Anyone know what could cause it?
Please help, cause as for now the connection is so slow that without Wifi it might aswell be a flipphone...
Update: I also tryed to install a stable rom using this method: http://en.miui.com/a-232.html
But i cant, i get the "Your allowe to flash the newest stable rom from develop version ONLY"
Try this:
1. In Settings/About phone/ press several times on Internal memory
2. Press Phone information 1 or 2
3. Scroll down and Set Preffered network type as you see on image or chose LTE Ony .
4. Wait few seconds till change has effect.

Miui 12 ROM S8/N8 ANBro10

I was wondering if one of you beautiful coders can point me in the right direction.
So i manged to get it booted running, making phone calls, updating fine. However, I can't connect toany wifi network, it just saves it without attempting to make a connection and mobile data only works when plugged in usb tethering, im assuming thats because it triggers a service and assigns itself an ip address, as soon as i disconnect usb cable it drops data.
So im on a sm-n950f greatlte Exynos
I have a tiny crack on the corner of my screen every other rom ive tried doesnt wake up the screen cause of it, this is the only rom that i can unlock/wake my screen up like normal.
With bootloader unlocked and twrp already installed
i patched Treble project convert dot zip via TWRP 3.7
Then flashed twrp 3.3 Reboot back into TWRP
Flashed no verify (Some reason it won't install on later twrp)
Flashed RevOSLavender's Miui 12GSI Rom (Tried flashing it with 3.7, got boot loop)
Then installed treble's vendor dot zip
Then flashed RevOSLavender again, some reason theres 2 system image partition, sometimes, really depends which twrp i used to flash the convert zip, so i flashed it again because this time it gave the option to flash both partition.
Rebooted into Miui, took about 10mins the first time

Credit goes to the owner, i played no part doing anything
Update, not sure what I did, but I clicked on some random file while browsing in root explorer and it executed/extracted a bunch of random things which knocked out my root access but got WiFi working, just need to figure out the mobile data portion if anyone has a clue,
I'm on a sm-n950f greatlte Exynos
Ok I got the mobile data working, I think I've figured it out. I signed into the Xiaomi account from my mi note 10 which for some reason can't make outgoing calls. So while flashing and running random scripts, I some how got xiaomi's provisioning frameworks script to work? Because it just keeps on trying to sync data, only problem now is to get the complete miui experience it needs a 2 step SMS verification to keep get their awesome skins, themes, and other settings. Yeh cause it was trying to sync with my old fone, it sent me all the hidden apps and services it normally configures after flashing/resetting
ok so this is what happens when it tries to activate your simcard / services. But you have an invalid device id /IMEI
