Adb and fastboot works just fine. But i am no expert to use that stuff. I have no I issues to say that some people like you are better than me at that those things
Thank you, all is working fine! Great!
Thanks!! Flashed now. Can you please explain, what means touch boost? Is it supposed to help with typing on display etc. ? Cause calibration of display is horrible on OP8 Pro. My OP7 Pro was MUCH better.

Touch boost is a short boost to the CPU's clock speed when the device detects a touch. Nothing to do with display calibration, but it might help. By default, touch boost is enabled, if I'm not mistaken.
I tried to use the built in colour calibration tool to help with the slight green tint what I have at lower brightness levels, but it just makes everything more red and blue and that's not better either.
I'm not sure what is K-lapse supposed to do though.
i always disable touch boost
Thank you for this ?

One last question ?.
I'm using a custom kernel now on OOS 10.5.6. can I flash your kernel over it, or should I go back to the stock kernel first?

Running quite well here since last night.
Thanks for this!
I can't seem to get the flash to stick. I am running stock 6.16.651.2, TWRP 2.8.5, SElinux in permissive mode, busybox installed.
Recovery says its successful, but when I check with trickster mod it reports the stock kernel.
Any suggestions?

No. You need to find an insecure boot.img (as I have the vzw model I am not familiar with what's available to you in this forum). Others have commented about this in my other thread for GPE and AOSP. The inscure boot.img replaces your stock ramdisk with a tweaked one that disables write protection.

I don't know if thats the case but I had the same issue. Solved it by TWRP backup stock rom and flashing custom rom and restore the backup without boot section. Maybe you could do it on fastboot command too. It will be easier, but I'm not sure.

Found some apps on Play store that claim to enable these features, but all of them tell me that the kernel does not support it.

(Extract the image file from the .zip first)
For those who can't/don't get an app to control the functions, just edit the init.d file. It's located in system/etc/init.d/01Elite
Can someone post the CPU governor profile definitions? "Ondemand" & "powersave" are pretty self explanatory, but what is "optimax, smartmax, user space, & msm-dcvs"?
Thanks

You can use the last bluspark from OnePlus 6, BTW I installed this kernel, it all works, except when I enter audio settings the phone crashes and hard reboots, there might be something conflicting
I am a happy camper.
I was hoping for ElementalX. I have has ElementalX on my Nexus 6P then my Essential PH-1.
Thi is the best kernel and I'll have it on the 6T.
Downloading now so when it arrives I have all I need.
YES!!!
WOO! ElementalX! So @flar2 I'm coming from a Nexus 6 (shamu). Do OnePlus phones have forced encryption like the shamu did? If so, is it a simple flag set in the kernel? Thanks!

I think the 6T doesn't have a headphone jack, so that's probably it. I will be getting a 6T soon, and will fix that up.

Use default settings.
You may block some wakelocks.
I wouldnt recommend it but, you may underclock cpu frequencies to get more juice at cost of performance

U need to use ex kernel manager to be able to block wakelocks
Edit - No wakelock blocking option I see in latest kernel version 3.02.
Re-edit - wakelocks can be blocked again dont know why they disappeared.
6t either reboot or shutdown when the sound option in EX Kernel Manager is selected. Besides that everything seems ok.
Hi guy, can you test something ?
Is the fingerprint sensor work if yo change colors settings (KCAL) in kernel app ?

There are two different bugs with him, I will be able to fix them.

Hey, @flar2 are you planning on opening a thread on the 3a rom, kernel area as well?

I will open a thread, but despite sharing the same source, there are hardware differences that will affect some of the features I develop.

Interesting. I thought they were identical with the exception of the screen size and battery size.

Super excited to try this out, but it's been a while since I've done this. Just to confirm I can flashboot this? What if I'm already rooted with Magisk? I would just root this boot.img as I did with the stock one? And then upload the same way, or do I need to flash a stock unrooted firmare first before doing this? Thank you!

Modify the boot image and either fastboot modified image or use ex kernel manager to flash.

Thanx, I prefer Android Q personally.
I never built for A11 and will not have the opportunity to test it manually.
So thats unlikely to happen very soon.
Now all we need is an aosp rom

I am not a fan of display overclocking cuz it will lead to decreased apps stability and changed colors.
Furthermore, tried overclocking gpu (the only thing that worth to oc on our Tab) but it wont boot for some unknown reason.
Even if u change/add freq just a bit higher.
Maybe it will be clear sometime.
I can help u with that, it's just one file to change in kernel. Samsung dex 144hz works with usb type c monitor certified by samsung and adapters from samsung, but their adapters are not what i need to work.
Just need to delete the other cases in switch and keep the case of Samsung Adapters to return from function.
It's not about OC GPU
No Android 11 support? May I ask why you prefer Android 10? Thanks and awesome work!

I do not enjoy change above all.
Interested in some great projects as Exagear, Linux Deploy, old DOS and console emulators.
Large amount of them are discontinued and pretty obsolete.
Besides fancy design changes A11 brings many disgusting limitations that just unacceptable for me.
They broke a lot of old applications & modules which I really do not want to lose.
However I will update as soon as there will be alternatives or extended support.
Can I use this on T970 which already came with Android 11 in the first place? Do I have to downgrade to use this?
