Hello,
i have big problem with data connections via LTE/4G. The problem is only with 4G. 3G connection is no problem.
If a data transfer is in progress (eg stream TV), it sometimes happens that the data transfer freezes. The phone is trying to establish a connection (upload arrow is blinking), but the download is not working. This takes a few minutes, after which the phone restarts the data connection and works again.
Operator O2 Czech republic. The same problem occurs with the Mi MIX 2S.
Please help, the problem is very frustrating. I'll probably have to leave Xiaomi.

I've tried several radios and none of them have fixed the problem. Even when I have full bars in an HSDPA area, the first time I connect using Facebook or Opera or try to update weather or check my email, the icon shows I'm connected but apparently I'm not because I'm unable to download data. If I disconnect and then reconnect, it works perfectly the second time. If I keep it connected, it continues to work without a hiccup. I only have the problem when I connect for the first time after a few hours of being disconnected. I don't leave it connected all the time because it torches my battery. This quirk seems weird to me. I hope somebody has experienced this and can help me fix it.
I'm on AT&T and have the Tilt.
I have had this problem in certain areas. Near Dulles, VA, Greenville, SC, and a few other semi-major towns. I have no clue why it does this. I usually end up turning off 3G and going GSM only. Then I don't have that issue. Granted I loose the high speed connection, but it just has so much trouble in those areas. I have even tried multiple radios to no avail.

If you have ATT, you need to remove the hidden proxy after disconnecting your data connection, then start an internet accessing program. The cab can be found under your windows directory.
I'm experiencing some weirdness and I can sort-of reproduce it. I'm still testing it a bit more to see if the issue is triggered by something else; here's the issue:
After extended time on a Wifi network, if I disconnected from the Wifi for any reasons (signal loss, turning off Wifi, etc.) I lose mobile data. There's still a connection, the phone recognizes 3G/HSDPA access, I can read signal strength, I can make phone calls - but I can't route any data over the mobile connection. Rebooting the phone into recovery, then rebooting back into the OS seems to work, but it's a bit annoying to have to do.
Any suggestions on debugging this issue, getting logs, etc?
Small Help
Go to System Settings> More> APNs> Press Menu and Click Restore to default
and that should fix it for the mean time instead of having to reboot into recovery.
I have same problem. But if you disconect data before connecting to the WiFi, and dissconect wifi before connecting to the data it will work. It's a bit confusing but you will get used to do it

My phone magically started working properly for a few weeks! And now the problem is back, and alas, neither solution works
I also routinely move in and out of wifi areas and cell radio coverage, so constantly changing the connection is a bit of a nonstarter (though I did try, to no success).
Hey guys,
I have a huge problem with my HTC One M7 wifi at my router.
My Problem:
This problem started after the HTC repair service sent my broken phone back with a new mainboard, accu...
Connect to the wifi
go to a app that uses Internet (e.g. youtube, google play...)
Start a video/download and wait a few seconds/megabytes
Wifi first only shows uploading arrow for few seconds, then wifi disconnects completely
After that I can either: stop using any internet and wait for a while, then it automatically reconnects to the router after some time and I have the same problem again.
Reboot and reconnect immediately, if I just try to reconnect nothing happens when pressing the connect button.
What I noticed:
When my Phone loses the connection to the router, my whole network seems to start lagging, when I played CSGO and my Phone started a download automatically, the wifi crashed after two megabytes, my ingame ping spiked to like 500ms instead of the normal 20ms, so the disconnect seems to affect the whole network.
At my friend's house my wifi worked smoothely enough to play 30 minutes of 360p videos on youtube and didn't crash a single time, his Internet connection is significantly slower than mine.
All other devices in my network work perfectly fine DECT Phones, androidphones everything works fine.
My specs:
HTC One M7: fastboot getvar all (in Attachments) with 5.0.1 stock rom
Router: AVM Fritzbox 7490
What I already tried: (nothing worked)
Restart phone and router
Connect with static not DHCP in wifi settings
Enable only 2,4GHz or 5Ghz frequency on my phone
disable either 5Ghz or 2,4Ghz frequency on my router
Use the Wifi FXR App to fix my wifi
factory reset in Router and Phone
block "clients3.google.com" in my routers settings for the connecting phone
install a Custom ROM
Is there a solution for this problem? I'm out of Ideas and can't find anything on google.
I am having trouble with inconsistent results when accessed through mobile data carrier. It shows 4g, however it fails to be consistent enough with the carrier signals. To explain, when I access Google.com, it takes bit of time(3-4 sec) to reach Google servers and it responds after the delay. This phenomenon starts recently and initially thought it could be an issue with Service providers, so I decided to use different devices and try the same, it connects flawlessly. Same applies for any game or with any app.
To be more precise, I had issue with connecting to hotspots or WiFi and mobile data before I reset to factory settings. WiFi starts working and hotpsot fails inbetween.
I tried to reset network settings which did not help and then reset to factory settings. It does the same, anybody facing this issue? Any help is much appreciated.
I am having realme 8 128-6 GB. The problem I am facing is that when I turn on my data connection, it starts on 4G but suddenly it shows EdGe Connection (2G) and then it turns off, that is the data prompt (the up and down sign associated with data connection). I have to manually turn the data connection on and off again to fix that. This problem doesn't occur with other phones having the same carrier's sim card. Does anyone have a solution for this?
