Pokémon go in Moto E5 Plus - Moto E5 Questions & Answers

Hello everybody,
I rooted my phone with Magisk, and I can unroot my phone without problems, thanks to you for that. But today I'looking for someone who can play pokemon go witk a fake gps, in order to help me to do that. I can't do that, I download some magisk's modules but do not work, so if someone can play pokemon go using a fake gps position in a Moto E5 Plus, I'll be very glad if it can show me how.

Update my post, I got what I was Looking for. Thanks to all.

Playstore now crashes after update and re-root

So initially I was having trouble getting it to re-root with qemu, and eventually I did however get it rooted again. I have root access and everything is fine other than the fact that I can no longer open the Google play store. I have uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled. Im getting irritated, I have followed these boards since September without needing to ask for help but also never had an issue with my kindle fire hd 7'' up until that last sabotaging that amazon decided to do. Perhaps someone with the same problem can benefit also if we can figure it out because I noticed someone with a similar issue but didn't want to hijack the thread. Thanks in advance :good:

How to install Magisk on Fire 5th gen?

I used the SuperTool method to root and block OTA. My daughter loves playing Pokemon Go, and since the tablet is rooted now it won't work. I have been told installing Magisk is the best way to get around it. In order to do this I think I need a custom recovery and I need to unroot as Magisk roots when you install it. I'm just worrying that it may not be compatible with the Fire and I don't want to brick it. I am on 5.1.2 bootloader, so I guess I need to install FlashFire then try to install Magisk?
There is no tutorial on how to do this specifically for the Fire, so I'm tempted not to touch it and just tell her she is out of luck.

I would go with your gut (just say 'no'). Magisk may or may not know how to root a 5th gen Fire and FlashFire is not a custom recovery. Initial sniff tests detect a foul odor. In addition, the device lacks a physical GPS chip which makes playing the game a challenge. You can go with 'mock' locations but that's a hassle and takes the fun out IMHO.

The weird thing is that the app works on it and is downloadable as compatible. I didn't think it had a GPS chip, but I can't figure out how it knows she is walking, but it does around the house and around the yard while she is on wifi. That one has still baffled me, but not enough to care to find out how it is still working.

Google Location Services 'maps' AP (WiFi) locations and does a pretty decent job approximating current location based on signal strength. Results are even better in AP dense areas like neighborhoods, apartment complexes, etc.

[Moto G6+]: Official ARCore support

Hi,
I confirm that the Moto G6+ has official support for ARCore:
https://developers.google.com/ar/discover/supported-devices
I installed it from the Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.ar.core
And then I have the option to install some AR enabled Apps, and they work.
(for example the IKEA Place: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inter_ikea.place).
Regards.
Moto G6 also added to the list of supported, but after installing ARCore from Google, no application does not want to work because it does not recognize any surface during configuration. And as I read on the Lenovo forum, nobody at moto g6 is working :/

Yesterday, I had it working on UK Moto G6 with Measure, ARuleR and IKEA Place. I only got to work a few times and I think I had to reboot the phone between it tries. Today after a reboot I've just got it to work in ARuleR and Measure.

Update:
I did the same, turned off the phone completely, waited for 2 minutes, turned on the phone and started working. It's strange but it's important that it works! Thanks

Before Root Google Pay + Samsung Pay

Hi all I'm still in 2 minds whether i root my note 9, I'm not sure I wanna lose sasung pay, I'm trying to get google pay to work on my rooted S7 to make comparisons but it's not working I get errors that it's been rooted. I thought google pay works with rooted devices? I've followed the instructions such as hiding it magdisk but it fails safety net...any advice?
Thanks
Some mods will screw Safety Net and there's nothing you can do about it. For example, Xposed. You should disable all Magisk modules, and try them one at a time until you find the culprit, and see if you can live without it.

Question C6 bank With unlocked bootloader

Hello team! How are you?
I'm struggling to make this app work again, after they put a 'zygote' process after a update, it's not working anymore. Being a digital bank, I cannot access thru anywhere else. I've tried a lot of things already, HMA, zygisk, riru, nothing works. I'm not a nerd of android, so, can anybody help to figure this out?
Much appreciated!!
Hi, it works with zygisk disabled in Magisk. I am trying to make it work while passing safetynet, that unfortunately needs zygisk
