Market issues following a successful root

I picked up the NC and rooted (used auto-nooter 2.12.25 for 1.0.1) without issue a couple days ago. Everything has been working fine (including downloading apps from the market), but yesterday the market stopped downloading apps (it would say that it was starting the download, but never actually do anything). Fast-forward to today and the market won't even open, it immediately closes itself.
Any ideas or suggestions as to what might be the issue would be greatly appreciated. I'm guessing that I may have to restore to stock and root the NC again, but I thought I would seek some help before that.
Go to settings, then applications, click all, then click the market application, click force stop if its running, then click clear cache, then reboot

Thanks for the quick response.
Unfortunately, that didn't help. When I went to clear the cache, it was already empty. I still followed the steps and rebooted, but it wouldn't open.
Get Titanium Backup & wipe data on the market.

When I look at the settings app on the NC I don't see where one could goto applications and do that. That is what I would find in a typical android settings app which the rooted NC doesn't have or am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks, I tried it, but no go.
I went ahead and wiped it to stock and rooted it again. So far, so good, but I do worry about what caused it to stop working in the first place.

S-health and S-voice won't update?

Hello everyone,
So i have towel rooted the S5, it's great and works fine except for a couple things. Like the title says, neither s-voice or s-health update. They both keep telling me they have updates but, when I try to update the app force closes. Unfortunately "blank" has stopped. I was wondering is this because of towel root or another reason. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I do not have xposed installed. Does this mean I just have to wipe the cache from the settings app?
Yes, thats what he means. Going to app manager and clearing cache
I had updated everything before I used towelroot, so I can only help in saying that a few days ago I updated with no problem.
I might also try a difference between WIFI and Data attempting to update.

I just tried to go through app manager and clear the cache and it still doesn't fix the problem. I'm thinking the only way to get around this would to be uproot and then update and root again. My only complaint about that way is - do I have to do that everytime these apps want to update?

I've updated plenty of apps since then. I wouldn't get carried away right off the bat.
There are several factors that could be preventing it from updating that are out of your control. Next thing I'd try, a stupid, yet simple. turn off, pull battery, turn on and try again. If that doesn't work just wait 12 or 24 hours before attempting again.
Like I said before, stuff out of your control, servers, networks, etc.

FOUND IT!
I'm sorry for all the trouble guys but I found the problem. What I forgot was that I froze the Samsung appstore app from within titanium backup. Realizing those are Samsung apps and not the playstore apps and defrosting the Samsung appstore is what fixed the problem.
Thank you again for trying to help. Also really sorry for the trouble. Will hit "thanks" to the responders!

[Q] Deleting Apps?

I have my S4 Active rooted and want to get rid of the usless and "have to pay" apps. How can I do this without screwing up the phone?

I installed Titanium Backup and it lets you backup and uninstall apps.

I wouldn't uninstall the apps. Use Titanium and freeze the apps. A lot of people ran into problems when the OTA update came out. If system files were modified or deleted, the update wouldn't go through. If there's another update, simply unfreeze them. I don't know if we'll get any more updates but freezing them is safer

Agreed, just freeze them. I uninstalled all the bloatware, and now I have no screen rotation (which I read is believed to be related to uninstalling Samsung Hub).

Google Play Services Stopped

Started getting a message "Unfortunately Google Play Services Has Stopped" on two Touchpads I run, rendering them virtually useless. Google Play Services ver 8.3.00 installed with Android 4.4.4. Cleared Cache, uninstalled/reinstalled Google Play Services with same results. Looking for ideas!

Raising the dead? Welcome to XDA.
Try rolling it back to the factory version.
Clear system cache.
When did it start doing this ie what changed to cause it? An update, a download?

See what apps are set as system administrators.
It could be a rootkit or virus causing it.

Factory reset or sideload (reload) the same build of FireOS that is currently running on your device. This is not a 'lazy' response - it is the only method.

Yep - if interested you can examine/modify the 'debloat' script to cherry pick just the items you want to permanently remove that can't be uninstalled via the normal method. Just keep in mind once it's gone the only way to get it back is a full reset.
