On my P20 Pro I've been getting this strange message on my home screen periodically for a couple of days now. Does anyone know what's causing this? The phone appears to be working normally apart from this message.
Must be some app misbehaving or not having access to background data

My phone wakes up to the lock screen for no apparent reason. I can't pinpoint the process that's doing it. It's very annoying when it's sitting on my desk or whatever and I see it keep waking up to the lock screen. I think I'm getting a message or something but nothing happens it goes right back to sleep in a matter of a second. This seems to happen every few minutes. I've uninstalled recently installed applications I thought could be the problem but it's still happening.
Is there a tool or app I can use to find out what's causing this? I have Spare Parts but i'm not able to get the information I need from it.
Thanks in advance!
a few things i've noticed with Stamina Mode enabled, wondered if anyone else has:
1. on occasion, after tap2wake, the theme/wallpaper will not load. the background on the lock screen and home screen is black. the only remedy i've found for this is to wait: if you turn off the screen and wake it immediately, it will stay black. if i wait 20-30 seconds, it's back to normal. only happened with SM on.
2. even with Gmail whitelisted, and notifications for Gmail ON -- i still won't get notifications. mail will be waiting for me in the app, but nothing to tell me that it's arrived.
3. Hangouts. same thing: whitelisted, no notifications. i'll open the app to find a bunch of messages that i missed.
am i missing something in my set-up?
following up, in case anyone has similar issues.
after a reboot, issues 2 and 3 have been resolved -- notifications for my white listed apps started to work right away. and issue 1 hasn't occurred again (yet).
Stamina Mode has been impressive so far. it's been two nights in a row where i haven't had to charge it. have 30% juice left, will probably plug it in during my workday.

For you have not indicated the FW version you're running on now, would suggest two things over here:
1.) Update to the latest FW (e.g. x.77) since that may solve the issue. Get it from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/firmware-23-0-1-5-77-rolling-xperia-z3-t2969791
2.) Use the search function and join one of the many threads that already exist on that topic.
Hello Moto X users,
I have a very weird problem that i've never encountered before. It started yesterday when I was editing some videos on Google Photos when my phone just restarted by itself, never had my phone restarted without me initiating it before weird...
But then after it restarted i noticed some weird sh#t.
First i noticed my launcher Action Launcher, reverted back to it's non-paid version then i can no longer swipe down to the notifications toggles and it says "No notifications", my home button doesn't work and my lock screen disappeared (jumps straight to home screen when you unlock) even though i checked that my screen lock is on "Swipe".
There's probably other stuff that i haven't yet noticed.
I'm rooted running 6.0
Please help, thank you very much in advance.
My device is completely stock.
I have noticed that the screen will randomly wake on its own to the lockscreen.
If i get a notification it does this however will also do it with nothing apparently new having happened.
Any ideas?
I noticed this before on my P9-L:ite but haven't seen it yet on my P10. In my case, I believe it happens when the phone loses or regains internet connectivity. Since networks are kind of spotty where I am, it happens somewhat often.
i have the p10 plus and i have the same situation...... any solutions?
Mine only does this when receiving a snapchat from someone. Could it be app related?
My one week old P10 plus has the same problem. It happens when I lock the phone while any app is active (I tried with a few apps). However, it doesn't happen when I lock the phone while the home screen is active.
Has anyone found a solution?
Still interested in this–
started happening to me a few days back aswell; I noticed the change after shooting some balls with my phone in the pocket, screen facing the skin. At some point the phone got insanely hot. When I picked it up all sorts of s*** happened, as if my thigh was able to make touch inputs through the pants? Notification center / quick settings were all toggled randomly. Flashlight, geo location and hotspot were switched on whereas Wifi and Bluetooth were off (which is unusual). And the camera was running with fully brightened screen, which I think was main reason for the heat.
I wasn't sweating extensively; meaning the phone wasn't wet in my pockets or something–
And I don't know if the random screen wake up enabled my thigh to make the touch inputs or of something else happened which from then on let the screen randomly wake up– chicken and egg, you know :F
I got my S21 Ultra (AT&T variant) a few months ago and noticed a strange behavior. some of my apps will force my phone screen on for some reason and I don't know if there's a setting to prevent that from happening. The 2 main ones that I know for sure that does this is the Amcrest Smart Home app and the older Amcrest View Pro app (I have both apps because I have older cameras that doesn't seem to want to connect to the newer Smart Home app)
Is there anything I can do to stop these apps from waking up the screen whenever it sends a motion detection notification? It's caused me to accidentally press random parts of the screen w/ my leg a few times.
Thanks!
