Hello I have a Mi A2 with ONE.
I tried to install Mi6X following this guide:
Guide
I got to step 9:
9- Click Refresh on Mi Flash Then choose Clean all and click flash
Then I got this error:
Error oem edl miflash tool, ACK count don't match
Then I tryed instead to install Jasmine again, and I started getting this error:
Cannot receive hello packet,MiFlash is trying to reset status
And then I was stupid enough to unplug my phone
THE ACTUAL PROBLEM (rigth now)
1. My phone will start, then stay at Mi(mi.com) logo indefinitely.
2. I can't enter download mode, Vol + and power will bring me the Mi logo again and again.
3. Can enter Fastboot mode... BUT...
-Mi flash don't detect it
-miflash_unlock don't detect it
-edl.cmd, unlock auto, and unlock critical say "< waiting for device >"
Edit: I solved the problem using test point to enter EDL mode, then It connected and I could flash it.
our phones (mia2) are weird devices to be honest, mine was recently bricked after choosing the "reboot to bootloader" option in twrp. id recommend you to go to mi service center if your phone is still in warranty

Thanks for the reply. But unfortunately I can't
That would be my first solution, but my Mi A2 is not in warranty anymore...

Sorry, can you help me unsderstand a little.
I found this guide:
Guide
But none of my Roms (Jasmine or Wayne) have a file that's named payload.bin
I feel like I am missing something
Edit:
I found that ota updates are the ones with the payload.bin file followed the guide and everything, but fastboot bring almost the same error that EDL brings:
< Waiting for any device >
Can it be that my cable somehow magically from one conection to another stoped working or something? I asked a friend for his cable... Cs are not as common in this country yet.

I followed this guide to unlock bootloader previous to the guide on flashing of the first post:
GUIDE
The .bat that you run there actually executes "fastboot oem unlock". I did that part without any problem, the phone screen asked for confirmation and everything fine. After succefully unlocking bootloader I followed the guide on flashing Miui 10.
Now even that "fastboot oem unlock" will show this message:
< waiting for any device >

I had the same issues like you months ago. The only solution you buy a pentalobe 0.8mm for iphone, a small philips screw driver, and a tweezer. Flash your phone in EDL mode. You need to contact 2 pins. You can search the location of the pins, how to disassemble the phone by googling it. then just flash Mi A2 stock ROM first, then convert it to Mi 6X again. I

Hi Guys, I hope someone of you could help me out.
Recently a Chinese friend of mine gave me an MI 9 as a present. But unfortunately they ROM of the new phone was the CN version.
I found a way to change the ROM by doing the unlock bootloader and flashing TRWP, after that, I downloaded the MI9_Global_V9.5.30_vendor_fw_flash, went back to the Recovery and wiped the "Delvik, cache, SYSTEM and Data. When I was trying to install the rom I got an error telling me the Global rom file was corrupt and restarted the cellphone.
The problem is I am stuck in the Fastboot loop, can't access the recovery and my computer don't recognize the cellphone.
I know I ****ed it up, I was wondering if I can revert that or did I just lost a phone.
Thank you Guys.

Hi,
How did you unlock your bootloader?
It asks for binding Mi account and it's not possible when your phone is bricked.
Yeah, the rule is simple. If it boots into fastboot, it can be recovered. Just flash the global you want with the MI flash tool and the fastboot file.

Now I can't flash the correct fastboot ROM with miflash because I have locked the bootloader while trying to flash the Global ROM. I am at the fastboot loop again.
Can I do something now or I just have a expensive paper holder?

flash another official firmware on a locked bootloader BY XIAOMI TOOL V2 https://www.xiaomitool.com/v2
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMkDAxiDdKs&t=10s
Here’s something VERY important before you flash or update the ROM.
1. Xiaomi Phones manufactured for Chinese market are not able to run MIUI Global ROM.
2. Xiaomi Phones manufactured for Global markets are not able to run MIUI China ROM.
We highly recommend you to buy Xiaomi Phones via official or authorized sales channels and double check the system information before flashing or updating.

Hi guy,
Same thing happened to me, I felt very stupid, but it was on a MI 8 SE.
According to my experience, only there's a way to solve it and it's booting on EDL mode.
You'll need an authorized Mi account to flash the original ROM.
There's a complete guide on c . mi . com named [Guide] [All in One] MIUI Flashing Guide: Unbrick, EDL Method / Locked Bootloader, Unlock Bootloader, More, I can't post the url because I'm a new user
Best wishes!

Read carefully and report
1. Try to hold down the buttons vol down and power, see if : fastboot devices sees it. If so XiaoMi Tool will restore it. If not do the same try recovery vol up + power. Do adb devices and see if anything shows up. Worst case you'll have to open the phone up and connect the EDL pins together and it will flash anything. I use minimal ADB and Fastboot phone plugged via USB cable into the computer and run those commands.
2. Fully bricks their device here is the unbrick factory method
https://c.mi.com/thread-1479882-1-0.html
that's connecting EDL pins with the phone case removed for a phone that doesn't boot at all
3. https://youtu.be/8mW0JzKow7E
here's the exact EDL test point required on Mi9
if you can't boot or recognize the device at all via fastboot or ADB. If this doesn't work nothing will...
But it will work, that's what the factory does. Obviously the last resort.

I accidentally flashed a MiUI 10 ROM with miflash onto my CC9 which has bricked my phone as it was previously on MiUI 11. My bootloader is now locked because I accidentally checked that option in miflash so I can't just fastboot flash another working ROM. I tried putting the phone into EDL mode using the test pin method, however since I did that once, it will no longer go into EDL mode again. Is this normal?
If anyone knows or can point me in the direction of someone who can unbrick my phone it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
This is why you have to be extra careful while flashing something.. hope you find a solution

Can you access fastboot mode? If so, you can try unlocking the bootloader again and installing the rom you want. If you haven't removed the mi account it will unlock and you don't even have to wait the required time again.
Unfortunately since I bought the phone off AliExpress, the seller had already unlocked it so their account is bound to the phone rather than mine. I have managed to get the phone to boot into EDL mode by the test point method but I don't have an edl authorised account to flash a working ROM. If anyone knows someone who could help me out with this I'm more than happy to pay them for their time ?

Download the latest fastboot firmware (MIUI 11) for your mi cc9 (not mi 9 lite). Don't grab the recovery.zip firmware, it's useless and will give you errors.
When you finish your download, unpack your .tar firmware twice and flash it with MiFlashTool while you are on fastboot mode. (Power/Vol-).
Next time, ask before flashing not after !
Hello , how is it going?. I also have problem with my cc9 and tried to flash latest miui 10 v11.3.4.0 and now it's softbricked , I'm having problem with Mi Flash since it's showing lock state error. any fix for it?

Mi 9 lite
I have a xiaomi mi 9 lite and it is in bootloop I try to turn it on and the MI logo appears for a second and it goes off I can't go into fastboot or recovery I already opened it to do test point and flash but it asks me for an authorized account If someone here has an authorized account that can lend me I will pay for the rental of the authorized account please help with that.
This guy helped me. He uses ultraviewer.net for remote connection. 1722 rubles for flashing.
MOD EDIT: Phone Number Removed
Le: how did you bricked it? I restored an older backup of android 9 over Android 10 from twrp. But from what I understand cc9 doesn't have rollback protection.
Le2: you can also try those fishy 710 firehose no Auth loaders you can find from various sources. Didn't worked for me but you can try.
If you flash Revolution OS or flash Android 9 over Android 10 rom you have good chance to hard brick device so you need to flash first fastboot rom if you want to go from 10 to 9
Thanks

I have redmi note 10s. I bacame bored of miui because of several bugs. So i decided to mod the device with a nice custom rom. I started the process. Because it is a mtk device, it has complicated flashing process than snapdragon devices. I entered the fastbootD mode and cleared the system by using adb command(which i dont remember). Then i flashed the custom rom. By mistake, I locked the bootloader by typing adb command fastboot oem lock. But now due to complicated case, the device is showing your system has been destroyed and when i try to force reboot it into fastboot, it still give systen destroyed error(means fastboot mode is inaccessible). Can anyone please help me to fix this issue without using edl pins? I am in a great issue

Okay so first of all download "mtk client"
Than open the mtk client
It will give you instructions on how to connect your phone, take back of everything except system(super),vendor and userdata. Tap on flash tab there you'll notice a option called unblock bootloader tap on it and your bootloader will be unlocked
Bro Will this restore my bootloader or only unlock it because if it only unlocks then your help wont work.

You need to see the PM I've sent to you. You will find it here.
Start from BROM mode - that is always available. Then you can use mtktool to restore everything. I have an article about it on my blog, but I am not supposed to post it here... find it in my profile, or send me a PM for help.
Hi all,
I have a Xiaomi Mi 11 (Global) that is currently stuck on Fastboot screen. I have installed drivers and MiFlashPro on my PC and Xiaomi is recognised by MiFlash but when I try to flash a global fastboot rom, it comes back with
remote: Erase is not allowed in Lock State
I can even see the phone listed with fastboot devices command. It just refuses to boot into system or allow me to reset/wipe. Also, I am unable to boot into recovery.
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I can't unlock the bootloader the normal way because I can't get into system and enable OEM unlocking/USB debugging in Settings.

Thank you for the link but I have already tried that and since I wasn't signed into the phone, it's not letting me unlock the bootloader.
The process fails at the second stage and tells me add account on the phone in Settings but I can't go into system to do that.
Thanks
Also, do I need to unlock the bootloader even if to install firmware from the same region as the phone? My phone's model is M2011K2G which I believe is for a Global version and I've tried flashing Global fastboot rom but no luck.
