S10 incoming calls adds country code, so contact name not recognised - Samsung Galaxy S10 Questions & Answers

I have noticed this issue, when I receive a call from one of my contacts, it adds a country code to the number ringing me and their name doesn't come up.
The only way I have found to fix this is to delete the +44 at the start of the number and just put a 0 instead. I would have to do this to all my contacts which would take too long.
Any ideas?

Problems dialing numbers from outlook contacts

I cannot dial the local numbers that I have in the contact list. All my contacts phone numbers have been made on the PC with outlook and then sycronized them on the Kaiser. All the numbers have been made selecting the country code in outlook and appear in the format +country code then (areacode) then number. Unfortunately I can only dial the international ones and not the local. When I dial the local numbers a AM says that the number has not been assigned. The same number dialed via Skype works just fine.
If I remove the +sign and leave the 1 (I am in Canada) the number dials no problem. Same thing if I dial just the area code and number.
The problem is driving me nuts. I cannot make 2 set of contacts one for Skype and one for the regular calls. I also travel a lot and I need to dial the numbers from different countries without have to change anything.
I looked on the net for suggestions but did not find any answer.
Any help is much appreciated
Cheers

[Q] SMS messages not showing correctly for some contacts

Here's an interesting thing that's happening with my Cappy. I live in Brazil and have one specific carrier as my carrier of choice, let's call it Carrier A.
For some reason my the SMSs my wife send me do not get grouped together with the ones I send and she's from Carrier A as well. Now here's the facts:
- On the contacts, my wife's number is 0418862xxxx (italics is the area code - the 0 is just to mention that it is a long distance cal) / So when I send her a SMS, that's the number that shows up
- When I receive one of her SMSs the number that I have is 021418862xxxx - the bold number in this case is the service used for long distance calls (which, incidentally is the service # provided by Carrier A)
My brother's number from Carrier B is stored in the same manner, 0419911yyyy but when I receive his SMSs they arrive with the number +55419911yyyy - bold is brazilian international code. BUT, now the messaging app is able to group the messages correctly - This also happens with contacts from Carrier C and D.
If I actually open the message (not the grouping) and check the details for it, it does mention that it was received from my wife (so it IS able to check that it is her number after all)
Did this make sense and anyone has an idea?

Bad incoming text numbers (Can't reply)

This issue has only been happening recently, but I don't know what to make of it. All of my contacts are stored as 10-digit phone numbers on my phone (area code+7-digit phone number). I don't have any SIM contacts or Google contacts. For some reason, while I can text everyone just fine using the stored numbers, *sometimes* replies come from completely malformed numbers. For example, if I send a text to 123-123-1234, I'll get a reply from 123-312-31234. All my replies will come from the number with the random extra digit mixed in, but I can only send messages to the original 10-digit number for them to actually be sent. This has never happened to me with calls so far, just texts. What could be causing this?

contacts showing up as "unknown" in the dialer

Moto X, Andriod 5.1, pure stock, bought in Germany, used in Russia.
I've got a constant problem with caller's ID showing up as "unknown" in the dialer history.
This behaviour is sporadic. I could not trace back any reason why a caller from my contact list would appear as "unknown" in the call log.
Sometimes when i get an incoming call from an unknown number it dos get listed explicitly in the incoming call history and i can call back (the number itself gets registered in the incoming call log) but half of the time i get an unanswered call as "unknown", so i can't even define who's been calling me.
The same applies to in/out calls from/to my contact list. I get "unknown" numbers in the log that i can not redial or keep the history of.
I tried an alternative dialer (Dialer One from Google Play which i had as a default in my previous Motorola Defy+) with no success.
Most of my contacts are saved in Cyrillic but i never had any problems with my Motorola Defy + which was also bought in Germany.
And the error seems to be random anyway. Sometimes i get the contact or the phone number listed in the log, but most of the time i get "unknown" source.
Any clues or suggestions on solving this problems? Thanks in advance!
I'm a newbie here so i can not post any screenshots, sorry for the pure text.

Contact's wildcard numbers

I'm trying to find a way to show business contacts' names when they call me from a range of numbers. Due to all of the spam calls I get, I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number/name.
For example, my doctor's office main number is xxx-yyy-0500. When they call me, their number has the same prefix and exchange, but the last numbers can be 0490-0510. I'd like to use wildcards to recognize and show the doctor's name for any and all of those numbers.
Has anyone done this before and can share their profile/task?
Let me try again. I'm trying to find a way to match the first 6 or more digits of an incoming call to an existing contact to account for the multiple numbers they may call me from. Maybe reading the phone number into an array to compare. Something like this for example?
Phone Ringing
If C:ANY or C:ANY(1-6)
Say Incoming call from %CNAME
End If
