You can't without a pc..
How do you install it?
Using fast boot. There's a guide for that somewhere on the internet. All you have to do is search.
Any1 can make a flashable zip? For those of us who aren't near a computer right now and wanna flash it right now. Thanks in advance.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
I'll wait for a flashable zip.

I find it interesting they don't have the JOP40D 4.2.1 image out there anymore but they still have the JZO54K build. I wonder why.
The OTA update came already, but failed due to something changed in build.prop, but have no idea what. GRRRR...
I'm annoyed. I am stuck on JOP40D ... the flashable zip of JDQ39 continues to fail...I don't know what's not stock in my build.prop. I think I'm going to have to do a full wipe and re-install stock ROM image before I can upgrade to 4.3
Might just wait for a flashable zip because I'm lazy that way
IM trying to root it now

i tried thru the Nexus toolkit...no luck that way//did get twrp installed and it seems to be permanent
Anyone wanting to install this without knowledge of ADB or Fastboot; Assuming your device is Unlocked
THIS WILL WIPE YOUR DATA, BACK UP YOUR DATA FIRST.
1. Download Nexus Toolkit Here ---> http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Galaxy-Nexus-Root-Toolkit-Download-213077.html
2. Configure it, install drivers, test drivers under "initial setup"
3. Download the 4.3 image here ----> https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#nakasi
4. In Nexus Toolkit under "Flash Stock + Unroot" tick "Device is on/Normal"
5. Pick "OK"
6. Tick "Other/Browse"
7. Under Choice; Tick "I downloaded a factory image myself that i would like to use instead."
8. Pick "OK"
9. Browse for your TGZ file you downloaded off the Google site in my case i have the Nexus 7 Wi-Fi 32GB so my file
name is "nakasi-jwr66v-factory-d341d356.tgz"
10. Go to the Developer website and copy the md5 hash listed under the 4.3 section.
11. Let it do its thing
12. wait 5 - 10 minutes after flash to let it boot. takes a bit.
How i got root: Keep in mind this is a very silly workaround. (keep in mind this is a very early workaround, and expect problems during the process)
I wouldn't attempt this if you don't know what you are doing. I am not responsible if you break something.
1. Download this file and put it on the device first http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=43909148&postcount=3070
2. In Nexus Toolkit Use the Root function, tick "install custom recovery" (this is how you will get recovery) TWRP
3. Let it do its thing fallowing all the instructions, if you are boot looping on a step, disconnect the device and hard reboot by holding the power button. The SuperSU that the toolkit installs doesn't work, this will work after using the zip we are about to flash.
4. Once completed, boot into recovery and flash "SuperSU-JWR66N-S005-130625-1.41.zip"
5. Reboot (Cwm users, you need to uncheck the option to "disable stock recovery flash", if it shows up.,)
6. Voila, Root and Custom recovery.

I was on CM 10.1 when i did this, be sure to back up your data before attempting this. It will wipe your device clean
I like LOS, clean and fast, but now I want to go back to official Global Rom with no root etc (basically, going back to stock, how you got it first time).
Anyone can point me to the right direction?
Do I just follow the Fastboot method found here: http://en.miui.com/a-234.html ?
Just don't want to brick my phone.
Thank you

I assume you got TWRP installed.
1. Download latest ROM here
2. Put in your phone or /sdcard/download
3. Boot to TWRP
4. Wipe everything EXCEPT /sdcard or something in the internal
5. Install/flash ZIP then choose the ROM in /sdcard/download
6. It is going to take quite a long time due to you're flashing about 1.3GB zip file
7. Reboot
8. You will notice that the TWRP is gone, so bootloader back to stock
9. After phone set-up, try to clean format again from the phone's setting
10. Done
If you want to lock back the phone, use:
fastboot oem lock
Then everything goes back to normal. Hope this helps.

[TWRP] MI 11 (Pro/Ultra) (mars/star)
WARNING : I do not know who made this TWRP and I am NOT taking credit for it. It was posted on eu site and I'm just sharing since there was no thread for twrp here on xda.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before starting the process, the bootloader must be unlocked.
2. Install Xiaomi USB drivers.
3. Enable Usb debugging from Settings - Additional settings - developer options.
4. Download TWRP for Mi 11 (Pro/Ultra) , and put it in your fastboot folder.
5. Put your phone into fastboot mode.
6. Rename downloaded file to "twrp.img".
7. Do the following command. It will automatically boot into TWRP.
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
8. If you get a screen asking for a pin, press 2nd option
and change language to English then enter phone pin.
9. Change language to English (press the 6th option).
10. Go to "Advanced" and select "Onekey inject TWRP".
11. Swipe to inject the TWRP. It might take a few minutes, so don't worry.
Note
1) Don't change the boot slot, currently (Slot A) for most or your device will not boot at all.
2) For user experiencing decrypt issue, you can try one of the methods below to enable decryption:
a. Remove all your security eg. fingerprint, face unlock, pattern and leave ONLY pin. Reboot to twrp and try again.
b. Reflash twrp.
c. LAST RESORT! Format data and factory reset your device then reflash twrp.
3. For user experiencing decrypt issue but just want to flash latest build:
a. Boot to twrp > mount > mount usb storage then transfer your rom.zip to data/media/0
b. Now go to install and look for rom.zip under data/media/0. Profit!
4. The decrypt issue was a bug on the Chinese twrp, no update since may so don't ask for an ETA.
CHANGELOGS
07/18/21
1) Additional instruction from scratch.
2) Additional note for people having decrypt issue.

Hi,
after a long day of learning the hard way (got stuck in Fastboot Loop) I am now on stable EU 12.5.7 (MI11 Ultra, EU phone). So far so good, but I was wondering, how can I make TWRP stuck to the phone, meaning, when I push the power button to have an option like: Boot into TWRP. Is that possible or is there a "click this button with this... trick"?
ATM, I can only get TWRP to work, when I enable it via PC, which is not good.
I am asking, because I have an old Oneplus 6, which has this option. TWRP is installed and I can boot directly to it, if I want to.
Can you please help me out? Is there a trick or am I doing something wrong?
Greetings from Germany
Placebo
I believe you are on custom EU rom right? Just reboot into recovery, custom eu rom injects twrp as standard recovery
Hi, yes I am and I did that also. But still can't boot into TWRP from within the phone. Is there a trick after the injection?
Hi there
I am a newbie of Xiaomi Phone. I got a used Mi 11 Ultra phone from a reputable eBay User. My phone is currently installed with a stable version called MIUI 13/.0 (V13.0.12.0.SKACNXM STABLE). Since I am new to this phone, I click on system updates and managed to download a file called xiaomi.eu_Multi_M11Pro_M11Ultra_V13.0.13.0.SKACNXM_618A7FFAB_V13-12.ZIP Via OTA Updates.
After I click on the Updates Button, I got a screen with a green button : "Check MD5 & Install", after a while, I got a pop up screen says :Your device supports "Seamless System Updates",
I click on the OK button, also click on the OK button for the internal storage is encrypted.
Finally, to ask me whether I would like to continue to install the Updates, I choose YES and end up stuck at the Main Menu with 5 choices: Reboot, Wipe Data, Connect with MiAssistant, Safe Mode and Repair Mode. There are no choice for me to install the Updates.
Can someone give me a hand please ?
Many thanks in advance.

He has already installed xiaomi.eu custom ROM, if you closely check his pictures from his first post - Updater app downloaded new version of xiaomi.eu CUSTOM ROM, so yeah he has already unlocked bootloader, and installed FASTBOOT version of CUSTOM ROM, the version what Updater app downloaded was released to be installed with TWRP (he didn't have TWRP on his phone yet) - so he need boot into TWRP and install update manually.

Hi gomcse2002,
Has your problem been solved?
If so, how did you do it, if you don't mind me asking.
I've had the same exact concern on my Mi 11 Ultra, which sadly has NOT been resolved yet.
Thanks.
Which rom(full name)?
