The charger will charge for few second and then stopped charging and the wireless charging blue indicator turn completely off. I had to plug in again and the same problem continues. I tried to put some padding on the bottom of the charger to make the phone rest higher to align with the charging coil with the charger but the problem still exists. I use the original plug and cable.

Hello, I have a PINENG PN-989 20000mAh Power Bank. When I try to charge it from the 2.1a port it does not charge (Shows a red X over the battery icon and shows as USB charger in Ampere) When I plug it in the 1a port on the same power bank it does charge (Shows a lighting icon over the battery bar and shows as AC Charger in Ampere)
I was wondering if anyone knows why it is behaving this way and if their is anything I can do to make it charge at 2a.
If I understand correctly the power bank is not able to charge at 2.1a port, have you tried using a different cable to see if it helps? The only other thing I can think of is it being a fake but I've never read of that being an evident factor. Or it can just be faulty. Would trying getting it replaced if your still under any warranty.
I try using a shorter cable (1.5f) and now the 2.1a port works as ac when charging. The official 5f cable still shows it as USB charging with a red X on the battery bar.
You can use different cables or devices to test
I have a strange problem with Dash Charging on my phone. When I connect the dash charger the blue light comes on and I get the bolt symbol. After a minute or two the blue light goes away and the lock screen does not say dash charging anymore. The notification icon however still shows the bolt symbol. If I keep the charger connected the battery percentage just sits fixed and does not advance.
When I remove the charger my battery will keep at the same percentage for a long time and then starts depleting. I feel like the battery is charged and it's only an indication problem.
This is a brand new phone with an original charger, I went to the retailer and he even changed the dash charger and cable and I get the same behavior with the second charger and cable set as well.
Additionally, if I charge with a regular non-dash charger my phone charges just fine. I get a red charging light and the charging percentage advances normally.
Please advise what to do?

I have tried a few CustomROMs for my Lenovo a7000 but I have got a magnetic USB charger, when i put the dongle in the phone the battery percentage stays stuck at the level i have put it in. This is when i am not charging the phone but the dongle stays on the phone and the battery indicator is stuck and will not drop??
I cant attach a link with the cable but if you google Magnetic USB Charger you will find a lot of them.
I have a problem with charging qi in MI MIX2s the phone is charging up to 50-60% and suddenly the charger stops flashing diode that charging was interrupted after re-loading, it charges to 90-100%
if someone has such a problem and can be guilty
try a different charger you might have a problematic charger, have tested non brand and xiaomi wireless both charge the phone just fine(slow 5w ...maybe due to custom rom? ...still charging)
I was experiencing problems too (even with the original dark blue xioami charger).
In my case, seems to be software issue. The phone charges way faster with the phone turned off. Also when on, sometimes it says that is charging slow being in the same position that charges ok with the phon turned off.
Also on a thread of the last update (still beta), someone said that the wireless charger worked better, so im looking forward to test it.
I bought these together and today I tried the charging time by depleting the battery and do a full charge with the 20W wireless charger, the charging time is 120 something minutes, which is far from the official number of about 90 minutes, or 100 minutes from some reviewer.
I used the power adapter that came with the wireless charger, which has 27W, and plugged into 6 outlets power strip (totally 3 are in use). The phone is a Chinese version with Chinese ROM, 6GB+128GB. The phone was drained and turn on after charging start, and no explicit apps were launched, other than the system one.
I don't know if this is the charger problem or the phone battery, I wrote to Xiaomi but have not heard back.
Could be a subpar cable, do you get good speeds plugging directly into the charger with it?
If you have a case or ring grip or anything inbetween your phone and the pad that might be impacting speeds
Also placement is really important, you wanna center the ring on the screen on the pad as closely as possible
Probably not an issue as you got the charger with the pad but a thread in "XIAOMI MI 9 ACCESSORIES" I can't link to describes how there are fake chargers out there too
