Hi,
I bought a pixel 5 from Amazon.co.uk.
I was adjusting the battery optimisation settings for a few apps. When listing/showing "all apps", I noticed a few strange apps.
Some of them: Filled, Kai, Rounded, Sam, Victor - all of them had multiple entries/listing.
Can anyone see if they have the same, and if so - what are these system apps?
That's sounds messed up anyway.

I have those too on a custom Pixel Experience rom (different phone). Could be icon packs or something similar?

I also flash the stock firmware image from https://developers.google.com/android/images
Still got those packages. Wish I knew what they are.
From the names (rounded, filled) they sound like the different icon styles.

How does it say it was installed in the app details?
I have the following too on a Pixel 2 XL (stock, unrooted):
- Circular (5 times)
- Filled (5 times)
- Gestural Navigation Bar (4 times)
- Rounded (5 times)
I wouldn't worry about these, they seem to be customisation-related packages.
The Kai, Sam, Victor ones, I don't have them though and sound more suspicious.

there is no uninstall or disable option, just "force stop"

No, under app info and advanced, what does it say under App Details. E.g. "App installed by play store"

There is no info regarding that. Only shows version number, 1.
No info about where and how it got installed.

They are the extra customization color's added for the Pixel 5. Nothing to be concerned with.

Hey, I have a rooted stock v10h and a strange problem occures when I'm full charging the phone. Firstly it goes till 100% and then +without any usage+ falls to 94% and stays there(doesn't go to 100% again)
I've tried a lot of battery calibration apps and nothing helped.
Also when turn it off and charge it, it charges very quickly with something like fake charge. Because when I use it after it looses all the percentage very very fast!
Thanks!

I had this problem too, but I discovered it wasn't related to the battery, but to USB cable..Have you tried to charge the phone with another cable? I definitely solved the problem by this way

Hi there
After updating to OSS4.0 yesterday, I'm not able to open the menu of Tapatalk Classic with hardkeys anymore. There weren't any problems with 3.5.4. Just used double tab on hardkeys to open menu of apps.
Now I have to use softkeys. Does anyone know a fix without updateing Tapatalk?
I have the same problem in Nova launcher. A few other apps, too
Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A3003 mit Tapatalk
Yes, there are a few more apps with this Issue. Did you test, if it is ok with oneplus launcher?
Yes no problem with OnePlus launcher so far.
With soft keys the same, no menu.

Hi, have either of you guys managed to solve this problem? I have an app which needs a menu button to be used so I've had to downgrade back to marshmallow. If this has been reported to oneplus could you let me know the link so I can +1 it.
Cheers
No till now the problem still exists. I use OnePlus launcher instead for now. I don't know whether this is reported or not.
OnePlus 3t.

This works for me https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jettoast.menubutton. It's a work around and a bit ugly but it does work.
I come from mate 8 and mate 9 and the dialer works normally. On Mate 10 it's not possible to make a call with a single click (over the call list). Does anyone know if this option can be enabled?
disabling call+, fixed that for me!

Open dialer
Tap the three vertical dots on bottom left
Tap settings
Tap Call+
There you can see how it functions and disable it.
Thumbed from my mate 10 pro!

Hi! Where is the maintenance screen on edge panel on android pie ?
Thanks !

I noticed that it was missing as well.
I've been forced to put the Device Maintenance Widget on one of my home screens as a workaround.
Fingers crossed that Device Main.Edge and Window Sizing come back for regular release.
Samsung is Android 9 closed- loses

That is from a third party developer.
Not sure why Samsung did away with their version in Pie though.
Solution
Hi all I've been experiencing the same problem and was very frustrated that the edge panel link was gone. luckily I stumbled upon this and I also use the shortcuts on my edge panel so I just added a shortcut to this and it's free. Hope this helps enjoy. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.lool
Use widget
I believe they have moved it to widgets.
This is going to sound odd but is anyone else having issues with not being able to swipe away suggested articles on the chrome browser home page?

Yes. Since yesterday same thing happens to me. Only thing you can do is hide the articles.

Just installed the beta to test and same thing. No swipe, just long press to hide.
Seeing reviews on the chrome app saying the same thing about not being able to swipe.
