I've a strange problem regarding video recording on my new Xperia Z1.
The audio cuts out around the 2:00 minute mark, while the video works just fine. Has anybody faced a similar problem? Any solution?

Thanks, but after a reboot the problem seems to have gone away. Don't know if it'll come back.

Hello
It would be such a problem that the speaker began cracking (about from 20% volume).
Especially the bass than doing it. I watched a YouTube video , the system crashed,I restarted and since then,the problem has not disappeared.
In the past it was such a problem, but we passed a restart helped. If plug in a headset to operate normally, it does't creak.
It's a software or a hardver problem?
The hard reset can solved a problem?

my Xperia ZR have a serious problem
no sound on calls , songs , videos , youtube, anything related with sound don't work
no sound on speakers,headphones,ear piece
phone restart when receive or start a call
music app give message: sound enhancements has stopped
camera app dont record video , but when set the option record without audio its reorde fine
i tried everything
clear cache clear data, reinstall a new system , downgrade from android 5 to 4.4.2
everything but nothing works
ant help

I am facing a similar issue,though it isn't as bad as yours.My phone speaker doesn't work for calls and music but it works for the alarm. I suspect its due to the software. I am planning to custom rom my stock xperia zr.

I am having the same issue since two weeks. the audio is intermittent sometimes it does not even work. Last night it worked fine. I was watching videos on YouTube and no issue. I got calls in the morning and no issue. all of a sudden everything stopped working again. I tried reseting the phone repaired the phone from PC Companion as instructed by SONY Support but the issue is still persistant

Hell... I thought its only my phone's problem well its a bug. Some time whenever on incoming calls my speaker sounds like its damaged. Report it...

Yes I do have this problem as well. Sometimes it rings correctly otherwise it slows down the ringtone and distorts it. I did a factory reset as well.

Temporary solution is restart and dont know if factory reset works or not
same . strange sound during incoming call .

Proximity is located far away from the earpiece.. U r gonna have to live with it

You should try to install custom rom or reinstall stock rom with fastboot.
during deep sleep, when a call arrives

WTH, I thought it was a problem with my A2. Right after Pie update I have had 2 issues, 1. Front camera was not working and 2. Speaker distortion during incoming call. Took it to service center who simply flashed a firmware and said both the problems will be solved, but they didn't, they said the front camera module needs to be changed and they didn't have in stock, took it to other service center who refused to login for service stating its just a software issue and will be solved by factory reset! Finally took it to a third service center who opened up and said "the camera connection was lose, and fixed both the issues", front cam was working fine but the speaker distortion was still there. Had to take it to the third service center one more time and replicate the problem there, then they took the phone and said they will be replacing the speaker under warranty, the mobile is still with them as we speak.
And interestingly, when I gave to them to fix the front camera, they reverted to 8.1 but the problem was still there. Wrong proximity sensor placement, yellow band, memory management issues (I can't clean the Chrome cache!), and all the bugs Pie brought in, the worst android phone I have ever owned till date.
I love how this phone falls to pieces slowly and we keep hoping for fixes but each iteration of an update introduces a new bug ... Mi A3 slowly shows up and still nothing : ))

The sound while in call is very low, i tried everything! im using the stock rom without changing anything.
MIUI VERSION 12.5.4
Is this unknown issue?
Also the proximity sensor is sometimes doesn't even work, I am in call and put the phone near my ear and the screen is still on, or sometimes it just goes off and no matter what I do / press I can turn on the screen while in call until the other side hangs up...
P.s sometimes the earpiece works really good , and when I tested it with *#*#6484#*#* it's also +- good.
