Hey All,
Been researching this for a couple weeks now. I have A note 9 with a shattered screen (black, no touch) and USB debugging is off. Factory recovery/rom. I'd like to get my pictures and such off before sending the device in (Insurance company replaced the device).
All the threads I've found have been reliant on USB debugging and such. I'm at a bit of a wall. Hoping ya'll might have some answers.
Thanks!
If you have enabled data backup to the cloud, chances are you can log into your Samsung Cloud account and get all your data back from the cloud.
You could try a local repair shop do it by tearing it down and connecting a screen which they might do.
Replace the screen.
Contact Samsung to see if they retrieve the data.

I hate posting in forums, so please understand that this posting comes after many many hours of researching and attempting different fixes. Can someone please help me sort this out and get me up and running again. I will be brief and direct hopefully including all necessary info for you.
Device is N920A, AT&T
Was in the process of transferring my data on a 32GB to my wife's phone, a 64GB..
Ran the reset it came back up, used it for a few minutes, it ran update and locked me out.
THE PROBLEM
When googles wonderful FRP wants to verify the accounts, it will not accept and of the old accounts of neither my wife's or mine.
I was able to pull it up on one of my accounts Device Manager. When I lock it with new passcode and message,
It displays the message on the screen but wont unlock.
Tried again and noticed in Device Manager it said no new passcode was needed because previous lock PIN still existed.
Reset AGAIN... No longer finds phone attached to any google account.
EVEN BIGGER PROBLEM
Just got the phone back from repair shop where they swapped motherboards with my phone and my wife's phone.
Reason for this? Originally 64gb device had cracked screen Insurance would not replace with 64gb because it was discontinued. Cracked screen was $300 to replace, swapping motherboards only cost me $80. I haven't even swapped the IMEI numbers with AT&T, but phones did work upon getting home and resetting .
PLEASE let me know what I can do. Need this phone for work ASAP.
My brother-in-law (not technical) broke screen on his S6 Edge and has ton of pictures that are very dear to him (his fiance is in Europe and many pictures are from her). When i connect phone to computer, i believe it's locked screen, so it's not showing up as a device, so i can pull off the data. What are the ways to pull off the data so he can get rid of that device?
Highly appreciate your help and support!
Can't he get them through a backup or by connecting his Google accounts to another device?
I don't think there are backups. I'll check if can extract from google account (if they were ever uploaded).
HOWDY -
I know I'm not supposed to ask for help on removing and/or bypassing a lock screen pattern.
I totally get this, and understand the implications of helping someone do that.
What I am asking for is a recommendation, or maybe even a review of some of the apps that are out there right now.
Whether or not you choose to be believe me is totally up to you, but here's some background -
The particulars - pattern lock screen on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Sprint variant, SMG928P. USB debugging NOT enabled from what I can tell.
Owner is unavailable to answer questions, he is deceased. Parents, who happens to be the Sprint account holder, does not have access to the gmail or Samsung accounts. No passwords written down anywhere.
The family would like to gain access to the device, the text messages and any call logs available, in order to prove that there was a setup.
There will be no subpoena or any other requests from the court, as the DA doesn't believe that any of the information would be relevant or viable.
I have physical possession of the device right now. Have attempted to connect to my PC, it doesn't show up, which is why I think the USB debugging isn't available.
Have tried all the methods on several pages about how to get around this, and no joy.
Want to know if it would be worth it to download one of these apps that says it would work. Do not want to chance losing any of the data.
Maybe with a death certificate, Sprint would unlock the device? Cellbrite?
Suggestions and reviews would be greatly appreciated, Thanky!
I have a Galaxy S10 never been rooted. Recently my phone was hacked or cloned...Im not sure which of the two along with my laptop and router (dealing with one issue at a time). My phone would get abnormally hot. It had a duplicate of all my apps/system files running in the background. Find My Mobile goes to the U.S Samsung account (I live in Toronto Canada). Google's Find My Device would show up in two locations amd on Google Maps would show me being somewhere when I clearly was not. My phone was being remotely accessed as well. I changed up all my passwords and put two-step authentication on but I think it was already too late because I would get delays in getting my code or not get them at all. Then one of the codes didn't come from a Samsung number. It came from a random person in the States (I had Smart Calling on). I did a bug report and found that someone changed the voltage of my phone and the voltage of when it charges. I also noticed changes to my SIM (persist.radio.multisim.config). Then I noticed I can't register my device on my Samsung account. Which then led me to find out that im removed as the device administrator and am now on a enterprise account. I did a factory restore. I got a new sim. I didnt install the same apps from backup and my device goes back to May 16th 2020 and I see a package/kernel was loaded/installed on my phone. I also saw some things about Stagefright that I'm not sure if I should be worried about or if its normal (debug.stagefright.ccodec). i had numerous account passwords that got changed. My calls were clearly being redirected (I contacted the RCMP and it rang a law office in Washington).
I'm at a loss as to what to do. I feel violated because I just recently became a victim of identity theft and was still recovering from that. And then i lost my job because of all this because my laptop was remotely logged into my work computer and caused problems. .What do I do?
Hello everyone, my father recently passed away. We have a family-run business and all the important contacts and information about our deals and orders we made are on his phone. Aside from that, there are also precious pictures on his phone that we would like to retrieve. Does anybody know a way we can unlock his phone? We have tried almost every method such as android device manager, Samsung find my mobile, and even contacted Verizon. He had given me his passcode a couple years ago but has changed it since then. I've tried other possible passwords and I'm down to my last couple attempts before the device resets to factory settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated, my mother and I just want the memories on the phone and the contacts to keep our business running so we can follow through with our orders. I would hate for everything to be deleted forever.
