[Q] lost root afther OTA

hi guys got a htc one here i reflashed stock recovery so i can do the ota to 4.2.2.
for for some reason i lost root.
i used root checker it said i don't have a proper root.
i opened superSU and it said Binary not found.
can someone help me?

Just install root again, same as you did it last time.

2.18.401.3 on rooted phone

Hello all,
I have a stock rom and rooted phone and now update 2.18.401.3 is out. So I downloaded it but I can not install it How can I solve this? I mean is it possible to install an official update in a rooted phone and how? Sorry, quite a noob here

You must relock bootloader and flash original recovery.img
You can find both in this forum

I did it by flashing stock recovery. The bootloader can be unlocked.
I also removed the root binary(you have the option in super su - full unroot). Then I reflashed twrp.
Good luck.

I lost root

After i updated i lost root and i tried to root again but
Its not working i dont have custom recovery and my
Bootloader is locked can someone help me!!!!

first，confirm what is your mobile phone manufacturers? HTC? SAMSUNG?google? and other?
second，look at your phone can be unlock, ofter that unlocked, try again root

resurrection rom is not have root function. you must used supersu.zip install at the recovery mode after ，root will be comeback.

1、unzip this root.zip
2、used fastboot flash recovery_philz_t00f.img
3、install SuperSU-v2.02.zip

What i can do??

Help to Root Honor 4x Che-L04

I have a Honor 4x Che-L04 ,
I have Unlocked my OEM by obtaining OEM key from Official Huawei website
next i have installed custom (TWRP) recovery successfully .
But After that i tried kingoroot , superuser to root the phone but it says root failed .
Kindly help me to root my phone.

Are you using the correct twrp version and which superSu version you are flashing?

https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-4x/help/honor-4x-che1-l04-mm-6-0-1-emui-4-root-t3475854. Follow the instruction in the given link and you'll be able to root successfully. Note that this works only on marshmallow android version(emui 4.0,4.1).

No root beyond bootloader 2 you are on bootloader 5.
