I have an original Galaxy Watch and just got an S21 Ultra on Friday. My S9 worked fine with "mute connected phone" enabled. On the S21 Ultra I'm still getting audible and vibrating alerts, but not all the time. It's weird. Has anyone else seen this? Toggling the setting off and on in the Galaxy Wearable app works for a little bit but it then stops working.
Could be android 11 problem check per app settings to see why it gives sound even if muted.

I am continuously seeing a call issue when either a Galaxy Watch or Gear S3 is paired with my Note 9. This issue is seen on apps such as Whatsapp and Telegram. When the call is made, the call gets routed to the speaker on the watch instead of the phone by default. Because of this, the screen doesnt turn off when placed on the ear. On the bluetooth setting, the "Call Audio" is always enabled and "Input Device" is disabled. On trying to disable the Call Audio, the phone loses connection and pair. The watch then has to be re-paired to get it to connect again.
I first noticed this issue on the Gear S3. Thinking it was an issue with the watch, I sold that off and got the Galaxy Watch where is issue still persists.
I contacted Whatsapp and they said that its an issue with the device and not an app issue.
Has anyone else faced this issue? Any solution to fix this yet?
Reset and don't restore your settings. Follow the followinf link for details: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5...owing-incoming-calls-anymore-wifi/td-p/193665
After one minute connected (sometimes a few seconds) Android Auto crashes, starts again, connect, disconnect and so on. I have to disconnect because it keeps the loop forever. I have tried factory reset, USB debug enabled and some other suggestions from the web, nothing works. Galaxy S8 in the same car works fine. Galaxy S10 in a Buick Envision works fine too so it seems to be the combination of phone and car.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Had the same problem in my Mitsubishi outlander, after disabling bixby routines everything was fine
Also heard Night mode can cause this,

Same issue with my Land Rover Discovery Sport. Definitely some sort of incompatibility issue but is it problem with S10 or Land Rover? I'll never know because the phone has been returned for refund.
Just want to say however that the S10 connected fine with my wife's Mini Countryman and my daughter's VW Polo.
Have you find and answer, I have the same problem with my Peugeot 3008?

Hello guys,
I'm kinda of having trouble with these guys.
I'm pairing my freebuds pro 3 with phone, turning on the toggle "use it for call" and "media audio"
But still while I make a phone call from the watch they don't work.
It just go straight to the watch speaker.
They obviously work fine with the phone though.
Any help?
Hi guys,
I have this wonderfull galaxy s20fe, huawei watch gt2 pro and kenwood car bt. issue.
Before this phone i had huaweu p30 and had no issue.
Everytime you call or get a call, you need to choose kenwood bt from tiny arrow and then you can talk on kenwood headset which is very dangerous.
I have tried many health app versions, tried to re-pair devices in different order and only time everyhing is working, is, when the watch is not connected.
I would like to retain ability of my watch to get and do calls( I know it can be turned off)
Do you mastermind's have any tryout or solution to this stupid but annoying problem?
Thank you in advance
Just wondering has anyone got Getting Watch5 Pro to work on S8 Ultra in any way.
My S8 Ultra picks the watch up in bluetooth but that as far as it goes.
Anyone got better please?
I've never seen anything else outside this thread
But with all due respect, a watch and a tablet paired really beat the purpose.
Thanks for the reply, appreciated.
Yeah... I wrote that for my Tab s7+ LTE.. I was using it as a phone
The process works, but its trial and error, backup and restore....
Ensure that both the Galaxy S8 Ultra and the Galaxy Watch5 Pro are running the latest software updates. Outdated software on either device may cause connectivity issues.
Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on both the Galaxy S8 Ultra and the Galaxy Watch5 Pro. You can do this by going to the Settings app on each device and navigating to the Bluetooth settings.
Try unpairing and re-pairing the Galaxy Watch5 Pro with the Galaxy S8 Ultra. On the Galaxy S8 Ultra, go to the Bluetooth settings, find the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, and select "Forget" or "Unpair." On the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, go to the Bluetooth settings, find the Galaxy S8 Ultra, and select "Unpair" or "Forget." Then, restart both devices and attempt to pair them again.
Reset the network settings on the Galaxy S8 Ultra. Go to the Settings app, select "General management," then "Reset," and choose "Reset network settings." Note that this will reset all network-related settings on the Galaxy S8 Ultra, including Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth.
Try connecting the Galaxy Watch5 Pro to a different compatible device to see if it works properly. This can help determine if the issue is with the Galaxy S8 Ultra or the Galaxy Watch5 Pro.
If all else fails, you may need to contact Samsung support or visit a Samsung service center for further assistance.
Are there any (other than Samsung) watches that will connect OK to a galaxy tab so the watch can receive calls and texts when your tab is in your bag kinda thing? I'm the same as edmondt, plan on using a sim free/5g Tab S8 as my main/only device - phonecalls and texts included
Thanks
