Question Getting Watch5 Pro to work on S8 Ultra - Samsung Galaxy Tab S8

Just wondering has anyone got Getting Watch5 Pro to work on S8 Ultra in any way.
My S8 Ultra picks the watch up in bluetooth but that as far as it goes.
Anyone got better please?

I've never seen anything else outside this thread
But with all due respect, a watch and a tablet paired really beat the purpose.

Thanks for the reply, appreciated.

Yeah... I wrote that for my Tab s7+ LTE.. I was using it as a phone
The process works, but its trial and error, backup and restore....

Ensure that both the Galaxy S8 Ultra and the Galaxy Watch5 Pro are running the latest software updates. Outdated software on either device may cause connectivity issues.
Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on both the Galaxy S8 Ultra and the Galaxy Watch5 Pro. You can do this by going to the Settings app on each device and navigating to the Bluetooth settings.
Try unpairing and re-pairing the Galaxy Watch5 Pro with the Galaxy S8 Ultra. On the Galaxy S8 Ultra, go to the Bluetooth settings, find the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, and select "Forget" or "Unpair." On the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, go to the Bluetooth settings, find the Galaxy S8 Ultra, and select "Unpair" or "Forget." Then, restart both devices and attempt to pair them again.
Reset the network settings on the Galaxy S8 Ultra. Go to the Settings app, select "General management," then "Reset," and choose "Reset network settings." Note that this will reset all network-related settings on the Galaxy S8 Ultra, including Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth.
Try connecting the Galaxy Watch5 Pro to a different compatible device to see if it works properly. This can help determine if the issue is with the Galaxy S8 Ultra or the Galaxy Watch5 Pro.
If all else fails, you may need to contact Samsung support or visit a Samsung service center for further assistance.

Are there any (other than Samsung) watches that will connect OK to a galaxy tab so the watch can receive calls and texts when your tab is in your bag kinda thing? I'm the same as edmondt, plan on using a sim free/5g Tab S8 as my main/only device - phonecalls and texts included
Thanks

Galaxy Watch 46mm with P30 Pro

Hello!
Coming from a Galaxy S8 here.
Is there full support / compatibility to use the Galaxy Watch with Huawei P30 Pro?
Is there any missing functionality or issues?
Thank you!!
I have used. I don't have a Samsung phone, but think that the watch is full support with P30. I am very happy. Only problem is that the connection is lost sometimes and must reconnect, but it is rarely.

Nice to hear that.
Do you know the range of bluetooth to get the watch connected to the phone? Have u ever tested this?
Thanks.
i have the p30 pro and galaxy watch 46mm works good, just a disconnect here or there but there's no trouble in connecting to watch to p30pro...
works good throw Bluetooth
I have the Galaxy S10+ and the P30 Pro. I have not experience and random disconnects when the Galaxy Watch is connected to my P30 Pro and the P30 Pro actually holds a better Bluetooth connection to the Watch than the S10+ .
I have the Galaxy S10+ and the P30 Pro it works perfectly fine you just have to download samsung wear for it to work
Well, here I'm having some problems.
When my GWatch disconnects from my phone, in the most part of time I need to reconect manually.
Also, the weather isn't working here. I touch "weather" widget in the watch and it shows me to add my location in my phone. When I open the galaxy wearable app, I go to apps and then "settings" in weather, whatever option that I select (that are only two: Location and Settings) the screen blinks and comes back to the main menu of apps.
I did a factory reset in the phone and also in the watch, but the problem still there.

Apart from perhaps Bixby, all functionality seems fine on my Watch 46mm. I can’t spot the difference between having it paired up with P30 Pro vs when I used it with my S10+
Install Galaxy Wear and Samsung Health apps on your P30 Pro and you are good to go.
Be aware when you want to pair with a new phone the watch is reset so make sure you have a backup of any settings, faces and watch apps installed
Does this enable you to use contact less with the watch too?
How do I connect my p30pro with my galaxy watch as it only able to via Bluetooth I can't use it via a network?
I have Galaxy Watch 42mm and have few problems but nothing important all other things work fine... But you need download some Samsung **** apps to watch work proper with P30

Internet may be not be available pops up while using Galaxy Buds on Galaxy S10

Hello Team,
I own a Galaxy S10 SM-G973F and Samsung Galaxy Buds. Strangely whenever I connect galaxy buds to my phone my wifi icon changes to an exclamation mark saying Internet may not be available. And I am unable to browse anything. I have to disconnect galaxy buds everytime just to have my internet working on the device.
Did anyone has faced similar issues?
I tried resetting the network settings multiple times but to no avail. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you

Question "Mute connected phone" not working with Galaxy Watch

I have an original Galaxy Watch and just got an S21 Ultra on Friday. My S9 worked fine with "mute connected phone" enabled. On the S21 Ultra I'm still getting audible and vibrating alerts, but not all the time. It's weird. Has anyone else seen this? Toggling the setting off and on in the Galaxy Wearable app works for a little bit but it then stops working.
Could be android 11 problem check per app settings to see why it gives sound even if muted.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+ & Pixel 4XL (& 3a..)

I recently purchased a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds+. They are working, however the Samsung Wearable & Galaxy Buds+ plugin don't work properly.
I followed the instructions on getting them paired - Install the Galaxy Wearable app from the Playstore, open it and allow all the permissions, connect (pair) to the Buds+, let it install the Buds+ plugin and then again allow all the permissions. At this point it says I'm all set, however the app says 'Your earbuds aren't connected to your phone'. I click connect and I just get 'Couldn't connect to your earbuds' and can click 'try again'.
Bluetooth wise they are connected and I can play music and answer calls etc, however the Galaxy Wearable/Buds+ plugin app aren't working. I need this to be able to update the firmware on the Buds+.
I've downloaded the Windows Galaxy Buds Manager software and installed it on my Windows 10 notebook (that has Bluetooth...). This cannot connect to them at all. The instructions say to put the buds+ back into the charging case, close it and then re-open it. I do this and nothing happens. The buds+ don't appear to be in pairing mode in the case at all. I can pair them with Windows natively and they work for audio OK.
I am starting to wonder if they are counterfeit?
I have also tried with another Pixel 3a phone and the behaviour is exactly the same.
They work best with Samsung phones. Only Samsung devices support the SSC codec which is the highest resolution codec for these. If your device supports LDAC use this codec, it's supported.
Try a network reset and clear the system cache.
Make sure Wearables has all needed permissions or it will not load. (I'm not sure if Wearables works on non Samsung phones.)
Test by trying them in a phone call to see if bt is connecting. You should also hear a brief tone when you place them in your ears.
Once Wearable is working properly it will prompt you if they're are updates or you can request it check.
Updating; leave case open. Make sure both buds are nested. Do not interrupt the process, it may take a few minutes. Don't move or use the phone. A bad flash can't be corrected except by Samsung.
I've updated them in my ears but that's not the preferred method.

They were counterfeit. I returned them to the seller and got a refund. I have since bought a refurbished set that are genuine and the app works fine with them.

Question Pairing Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 with X90 Pro Plus

Just got my phone and followed debloating guide and setup notification. My phone worked great notification works, battery life is awesome just that I currently have issue getting my Galaxy Watch 4 to pair. Before posting I did some homework and tried several method like:
1) Samsung Health to trigger Wearable to force pair
2) Install WearOS China alongside with WearOS Playstore to trigger a bypass to pair
3) Install a Huawei workable Samsung Wearable to force download WearOS and Samsung Watch4 Plugin failed at downloading WearOS.
Anybody have any luck?
