Hello everyone,i am hoping that someone can please help me with regards Google Maps and the supposed roll out of dark mode in the app. I keep hearing of people having recieved the dark mode months ago now in Google Maps,but i still do not have it on my XZ2.
Has anyone here recieved the update for Google Maps dark mode on their XZ2 yet? If you have,could you please share a link to the APK for downloading. I would really appreciate it a lot.

Hello, a while ago i noticed a problem with the google talkback app, which is used by our phone for example to read out loud the callers name or give us a voice feedback in th Endomondo app. The problem is that afer the last update which was a few months ago the voice from the app has completely disappeared and whichever voice and language i download and choose ther is only the silence when i try to listen to a smple, or in endomondo or when it should read the callers id.
When i unistalled the update the voice started working good and its possible to use the google talkback without a problem.
However, the last update brought polish language to the app, and without the update i cant enjoy it..
Does anyone else have the same issue as me and my mototola?
Perhaps somebody found a solution to this issue?
I wrote an email to google concernig this but i got silence in return...

Yeah... The update for TTS is not working on the RAZR i... you can read a couple of user comments on the play store written by Razr i users. Nobody seems to care about that. Maybe we have to contact google about the problem.

Got the phone on Friday and loving it.
The only thing annoying me as that I can't find the night mode in developer settings to be able to darken all the Google apps (as per this tutorial https://9to5google.com/2018/12/17/android-dark-mode-theme-pie/ ).
Is this something the P30 Pro isn't capable of, or am I missing a setting?
Also, does anyone know how to get any other dark apps? Or successfully rooted and used substratum?

That only works for pixels, oneplus, other stock android like phones. You can get dark google feed with the lates Nova launcher beta + google companion app.

Damn. Was really looking forward to having dark apps without having to mess about too much! Guess I'll look into rooting temporarily.

Ah well, guess I'll just have to play the waiting game. I've used dark apps for years, so I don't like the brightness of the phone right now, but it's a minor issue, and hopefully temporary. With any luck Huawei will enable it with an update...
Hey guys im totally new to this so im sorry if this isnt the correct place for it. I have rolled back my android version to 8.0 this morning and i wanted to roll back the play services app too. When i go into the app settings the 3 dots arent there for me to uninstall updates. Have i done something wrong or am i unable too?

It's been a while since Instagram has added night mode to the app.
Which is enabled on other phones by activating Dark Mode.
But my phone, honorplay, doesn't have night mode, it always shows instagram in night and day mode.
As well as the Google Play app and mobile theme selection
This problem makes me very upset :crying:

The Instagram app version 116.0.0,34.121 has a dark mode. I am using it on Honor Play.

I have installed Google assistant, it does not seem to work for me.
