EDIT: SOLVED! See the bottom of this post.
Hello!
I have just flashed the Xiaomi.EU ROM and installed Magisk. However, the SafetyNet check fails, both the basicIntegrity and ctsProfile checks fail. It's not even Play Protect certified. Is it any different for you? Is there a way to fix it, did I do something wrong?
I have tried removing Magisk, which makes the SafetyNet check pass again. It's definitely tied to Magisk somehow.
I patched my Magisk boot.img by taking the boot.img from the ROM, copying it to the device, using Magisk Manager to patch it, then flashing it to boot_a and boot_b.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I fixed it by re-patching the boot image, reflashing it, and enabling Magisk hide. This time, I patched the boot image while on the Xiaomi.EU ROM, the previous one was patched on the CN ROM.
Thanks!

Hi!
I've managed to install Magisk v14.0 via fastboot and it worked but then I updated to 15.0 and I had problem with encrypted phone. So I flashed boot.img with 14.0 as I did before and now SafetyNet is triggered. I've found uninstaller and fix for that but it's zip file. Can I apply those the same way I've installed Magisk? Or is there any way to do it? I can't use TWRP because there isn't any for my phone. My phone is HTC One A9s.
EDIT: I've installed it with this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/one-a9s/how-to/root-htc-a9s-magisk-t3680322
I use Magisk since years and my devices got always rooted after its installation, but today it's differenti ad you may see in the attached pic...
I've G8441 and I installed Lineage 16, I'd even like to have root access!
Waiting for your advices to solve my problem!
You need to give more details than that. What have you done and what was the result?
Take a look here:

I installed Magisk via TWRP, I can't provide any log but installation ended in the good way (no error) but Magisk is not installed.
I flashed Magisk before ROM and gapps, I rebooted after that and then I installed the rest (ROM and gapps).
That's still quite slim, information-wise...
But, if you flashed your ROM after Magisk there's a good chance that Magisk got overwritten with the stock ROM boot image. And if the LOS addon.d glitched (there's been issues with v2), you'd end up with no root.
Magisk goes last when installing.

Knowing that Magisk needs to be the last during installation is good! Gotta try this!
Many thanks Didgeridoohan!
Hi.
Just after installing the .zip magisk file in twrp, my redmi k30 reboot as it should and after that it stays bricked in the bootloader. I've been able to reinstall the rom but I want to install magisk on the phone. I've tried it another time and the issue persists. Any idea of the origin of the problem? How can I install magisk?
I dont have k30, but you should flash lower version, say 19.3, it might help

Give it another try by instaling magisk manager app first, then flash magisk from the manager. If it's still not working, remove with magisk uninstaller, rather than flashing the whole ROM, and try with 20.1
As for me I installed MIUI.eu using fastboot and then pull the boot.img from the ROM, patch it using magisk manager & fastboot flash the patched boot.img. From there you can get a proper magisk & passed all safety net check
Hi all, the new magisk 24.1 installing only patching boot or recovery imgs depending if phone has ramdisk or not.
Magisk says that mi9lite has no ramdisk so must be installed into recovery partition. but is really magisk installed in recovery?
Is this phone an exception? Because I have many times updated twrp but magisk didnt need to be reflashed.
I think it has ramdisk. Even when magisk says it has not. If I remember correctly when I got my phone back in december '19, magisk showed ramdisk: yes.
Two weeks ago I clean flashed the lastest xiaomi-eu stable, installed magisk through twrp (renaming magisk.apk to magisk.zip) and is working just fine. (for me at least)
Thanks I think same
I can confirm that mi 9 lite (pyxis) does have ramdisk.
Just flashed LineageOS 18.1 20220303 build, downloaded latest Magisk v24.3.apk from github, renamed it to .zip and flashed it via TWRP 3.6.1_9-0.
Added safetynet-fix in Magisk and all the checks pass, playstore is certified and banking apps etc. work.
My device has a ramdisk omg file on firmware but magisk says no ramdisk
Hi, I use pixel fasher to update the firware of my phone, I also use it to install magisk (my bootloader is unlocked). Everything is going fine except the installation of magisk. Only magik manager was installed.
With my former phone I installed magisk.apk renamed magisk.zip in recovery and then magisk manager, how do you proceed with Pixel 7?, Is it possible to use adb? Or pixel has its own recovery?
Thanks for your answer.
well. with pixel flasher, it should work too that is what I did. Did you patch the init_boot.img in pixel flasher before starts flashing? Else just for rooting, you can refer something like this too https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rooted-my-pixel-7.4505525/
Hi Creezalird, you're right, I just forgot to patch the init_boot.img before flashing, Thank you for your answer.
does your magisk pass safetynet? even with safetynet fix i get "CTS PROFILE MATCH" fail.. how do you fix that? thanks.
