Some People like me Love to keep our data decrypted as i keep changing rom Every 2-3 week..
Most of the time don't have PC with me to take my data backup in PC as when you change ROM you need to format data which is huge pain.. SO i prefer to keep data decrypted so i can flash any ROM whenever i want without Data loss..
Excellent
When the next update come?

Hi again, thank you @CYB3R0ID694 and @zahidm For your big work guys
i think i face some battary drain here, but about the rom its rly the boss now
another thing is no fast charge like oneplus rom, i hope if u can add it soon
+ recent apps is big not good like oneplus recent apps, here is too big
i hope if this can be edited if you want
and last thing is a Q, if i want to update this rom in future , im rooted, should i unroot first right?
so UnRoot, install update + twrp, boot system, reboot to twrp, install magisk, is this the way?
and i want to add, im playing codm, on oxygen it was not bad, but some frame drop sometimes in some modes, here in android 11 its smooth
by the way the game alr glitched, not optimized enough, i mean oxygen is good too, but dotOS rom is rly know how to start the game and playing it
Thanks again guys, u made my day by this rom
Rom looks nice, will give it a go when the battery drain is fixed. Looking forward to it.

Even at the risk of looking like a noob, may I ask what app is that?
I have always been a fan of custom roms, since the time of the Galaxy S2, but now, I am sorry about having to be restoring application by application with each new flash

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

GApps:

Thanks for the advice, but this TWRP is supposed to be treble-supported and it's recommended on the front page:
TWRP recommended
I am going through the whole setup process from scratch with TWRP right now, first of all having wiped cache, data, dvalnik and system as recommended.
I would be willing to try out orangefox recovery if it works better, but is the ota-update-mechanism is supporting this also?

Yes orangefox supports ota updates. Also miui updates are supported by orangefox recovery. Visit their website www.orangefox.tech and read details. I used redwolf recovery few months back but it gave me issues so changed the recovery and now orangefox is working flawlessly.

Thanks, tried it yesterday and it worked for me. Just another question: which baseband firmware do you use? I'm still on 037_PA.
I experience little trouble with flight mode:
With february's build, shortcut in power button menue worked perfectly, no I cannot switch the flight mode off again from time to time, the plane button in power menue simply doesnt't response.
When I used the button in the buttom tray, it askes for the sim's pin every time which was definitely not that way before.
Workaround is to deactivate pin but that is not what I wanted.
Could that be a firmware issue?
Glad about any suggestions

Answer :
(1) your first bug is not Rom issue it's your phone issue u need to flash latest fastboot Rom on your phone. After that flash recovery and flash Rom via internal storage.
(2) data issue. You need to add apn settings manually. It will fix your issue.
(3) slow conectivity of wifi it is source issue.

Pixy's OS Update
Tryout 1:
Flashed the rom after flashing stock ROM using miflash tool.
Suceeded! But just after 2nd boot the ROM went into bootloop.
Tryout 2:
Reflashed the ROM using TWRP and just after flashing the gapps the ROM started showing some screen glitches after booting up.
Tryout 3:
Reflashed Stock ROM(miflash tool)
then, ROM.
Evry thing well and good. Really stable ROM.
But, I faced one issues that was duing calling, THe Phone app(calling) gets freezed up which hanging up. The same thing I saw in HAVOC OS. So restated everything and tried COSMIC OS.
Till now, far and good. Thanks a lot for keeping the 9.0 versions alive.
A big shoutout to @MaheshTechnicals for the updates.

Overall i liked the different UI it has but some customisation options are not available hide power menu on lockscreen. UI feels smoother and don't know about battery backup yet because i flashed this rom yesterday.
Overall a very smooth update. Battery backup goes upto 7-8hrs which is a fair deal. Some bugs which I found on 2 days usage is as below:
1. Styles & Wallpapers force closes.. cannot open.
2. Lockscreen clocks alignment on lockscreen is not proper as you can see below.
Thumbs up for your work for Poco X2 @chiru2000
Hope you can fix the above ones in next updates..

update, I was able to flash the vendor and the custom rom but after i format my data. and reboot system it keeps going back to orange fox recovery. Any idea on how to fix the problem?
Currently using the rom, very stable and beautiful, thank you sir @chiru2000. But looks like smart charging doesn't work, the battery continue to rise above 80% even though I set it to stop at 80%.

Yes, I did by the order in the article:
- Wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik and format data
- Flash 12.0.4 Firmware and vendor package
- Flash the rom zip
- Format Data
- Reboot
but it can't work.
but when I change to flashing PixelPlusUI 2.0 (Android 10), all things work well.
I guess if the 12.0.4 Firmware is wrong? Should I flash more high level Firmware for PixelPlusUI 3.1?

reckon you'd better flash the firmware "phoenix_images_V12.0.4.0.QGHCNXM_20200726.0000.00_10.0_cn"
and flash "recovery-TWRP-3.4.0_10-0-phoenix.img"
then uncheck "install twrp update" and hit "do not install" option instead of "swip to reboot to system"

Thank you.
And is the vendor zip necessary?I still don't know the difference between firmware and vendor.
Kind of a newbie here, so dont mind my dumb question.
I rooted my phone by installing Magisk,
then created Patched boot.img file
then patched that file using fastboot.
then installed TWRP using the official app.
Now while flashing the PixelPlus, will I have to root again?,
what does it mean when it says flash magisk? I have Magisk APK, does this mean I must create Patched image again to root,
will it be possible for someone to explain this step to me in detail?
No OS installed, are you sure you wish to reboot?
Can anyone help me?

Nice work!
Great work, hats off to you!
Good job!
Thank You so much.
First of all, great job
Second, a small question, is it possible to remove the brightness slider when pulling down the notification panel?
Really great that this was ported ,installed cia twrp without a hitch ,the only thing when trying to restore data ,keeps saying Data transfer has an error ,any way around that ,?
So happy to see a new custom rom R not based on one ui , thank you for your work , can't wait to see it stable to use it as daily driver
Hey there! I'm really interested in this ROM. You say FOD is a bug; is it like the bug with that one LineageOS ROM on here where the screen would just flicker if you use it or does it point blank not work?
I want to test this rom, but I don't know ir works on SM-A705MN
Do I have to flash DFE as well to unencrypt my internal storage or not? I'm very new to rooting and roms

Hey, I'm new to rooting, I've lost my stock ROM and now using swx v4, tried downloading other ROMS like lineageOS but I've always been put in a boot loop until restore a backup of swx ROM, do I need stock ROM to install this ROM? If I do, can anyone help me find a stock ROM for my A705FN/DS?

You need a OneUI 3.1 (Android 11) vendor to install the ROM properly. Here, put this file (check attached files) in your phone, wipe cache, dalvik and the vendor, and flash it to the vendor partition, then flash the rom. Try that.

hey, sorry im new to all this, do I need special software like odin or adb for that or can I just instal it using twrp?
Edit: I tried flashing it normally and it flashed normally, but the room always flashes stuff unconditionally, is that normal? I try booting up and it just boot loops twice and goes back into twrp.

Download frija, use it to download your stock 11 rom, flash that with odin. Then hop over to my guide, follow the instructions for rooting android 11, then once all that is complete, install dotos per the first page instructions.
this rom is intended to be flashed on stock vendor (for now), I'm not gonna support custom firmware/kernels.
