I'm running with android 11.Nano sim and eSIM is working but only separate. only one IMEI is showing.
I did *#*#4636#*#* no DSDS troggle on/off is showing.
So I last did it for my father in the 3XL, but have you tried manage it by going into settings > Network and internet?
At least there, you can set the priority / default Sim for the listed options.
I have exactly same configuration as yours. An eSIM and nano SIM.
My Pixel 4 XL did still have this option. There are once I "made" it disappear by switch it in combine with "power to radio" (also in 4636 menu.
I suggest you to enter flight mode, then toggle the "power to radio" couple times then reboot. This is how I get it comeback.
However, YMMV.

If you access the "hidden menus" by long pressing the desktop, shortcuts, activities, CQAtest, Sim card....do you get an error stating the iccid's don't match?
I have been having a signal issue I'm trying to track down and wondering if this is the culprit. Basically what happens is I lose 4g and go to 3g even though the 4g signal is still very strong at my house (all other devices show full LTE). If I toggle airplane mode on and off I always get 4g back at full strength. Sometimes it will stay and sometimes I'll lose it again after a few min. When it happens it usually happens for a period of a few hours(mostly at night) and will be fine for 12 hours straight during the day. This is on a Moto X Dev edition on VZW.
Thanks in advance.
I added the SIM card item to my home screen in ADW and when I click it I see the app open, but it closes again right away, so I can't see what it says.
Edit: only other place I see the ICCID is in Settings > About Phone > Status, it is listed there, but I don't see a second number to compare to. Not sure what your phone would be looking at, because it doesn't have two SIM cards...
That's strange. I did it three times to make sure it wasn't a fluke and it worked each time.
I'm stock 4.4.4 using xposed and apex launcher. BL is unlocked.
Edit.
Not sure either. It shows an ICCID for the phone and then one for the sim. The numbers are different and it has a red error message below.
I enabled advanced calling to my account, when I went to the hidden menu i tapped on volte provisioning, turned the radio off and back on and the provisioning didn't change. Did some reboots, tried again and still can't turn on the provisioning. I also waited a few days to see if the problem would fix itself somehow.
Rooted 6.0
Any other ideas to get this working?
What makes you think it's not working? How are you testing? If you bought from Verizon it should have come with it on.
For the hidden menu make sure it says "turn off VoLTE". If it says "turn on VoLTE" that means it's currently off and you need to press the button to turn it on, and the toggle the radio or reboot.

I had to do this too. I just went into that hidden menu, turned on provisioning, reboot, then went to settings > more > cellular networks and made sure enhanced 4G LTE mode was turned on. Turning the provisioning on just makes the setting appear or disappear in your settings. I hope this bit of clarification helps.
Hi OP3 Users,
I am unable to find a setting to change the Network Mode for sim 2 in the stock (non-rooted) 3.1.2 firmware. Is there any way to change that.
SIM 1 has that setting; namely "Preferred Network Type" (and has options "LTE Recommended / 3G / 2G")
Also, i tried using the *#*#4636#*#* code, but it shows nothing but "Testing" and has no options to choose in it.
Any ideas on how we can resolve this?
Hello I'm having some issues getting LTE to work on my Nexus 6 running BenzoRom.
I am only able to get 3G, when I previously had LTE working for a very long time. I'm not exactly sure what happened but I tried clearing, dalvik cache, cache, restoring default APN settings, restarting my phone, flashing a new rom, putting in a different sim card (with LTE working) and nothing fixed the issue.
I'm guessing I should just flash stock rom but I'd rather not go through the hassle. I think it might be my APN settings since I vaguely remember messing with it but I restored back to default and LTE still did not show up.
What the heck happened?
Have you gone into the phone menu? If not, *#*#4636#*#* then select phone... And look at my screen shot; at the preferred network type and the turn off volte flag... Yours may say turn on. I reboot after selecting the network and turning on the volte flag
Then in settings/more/cellular networks there should be enhanced 4g/LTE mode, turn that on of it isn't already.
Ya, I'm a dope... Adding the screenshot I referenced.

Hey I don't see your screenshot?
mine has done that on resurrection rom a couple of times. definitely check it and toggle airplane mode
I'm using two SIM cards in my TA-1046 running Pie, October 2018 patch, build 00WW_3_22D, MPSS.AT.3.1-00770-GEN_PACK-1 baseband, 4.4.146-perf+ kernel, etc... Stock out of the box.
On the status bar, I see three signal indicators, one of which always shows no reception.
When I pull down the quick settings, I see "No service - OperatorName1 - OperatorName2" scrolling at the bottom.
In Settings -> Network & Internet -> SIM cards, I see both my two SIM cards active, but when I tap op i.e. "Preferred SIM for Mobile data", there are 3 options in the popup - the first two are identical, and both of them are selected (despite being radio buttons).
I've googled this, and searched the forum, but apparently I'm the only one seeing this nuisance. It has no real impact on phone usage, it just bugs me to see the additional signal indicator all the time.
Attached screenshot for your viewing pleasure.
turn off phone, take out sim, restart, go to apps and find the settings app and clear the cache for the settings app. turn off, put in sim, start phone.

Guess I should have thought about that... Thanks, it actually worked!
