I swear by these guys for all my accessories and batteries, going on 4 phones now. Very satisified customer.
edit2: 09/23/09- email from seidio stating it is NOT compatible with the holster listed below
edit: and says it's compatible with holster, agian, very satisfied buy.

This is by far my favorite of the 3 holsters I've previously owned for various phones by the same company. Phone sits very secure with no fear of falling out at all.
Interesting, the price is a bit steep but not too high.
I would like to see some higher res pics from a few angles to get a better idea of what the case cover looks like.
I have the holster but how do you know the extended battery fits the holster? From the single photo of the battery cover, it looks like the top sticks out as much as the area below the camera...

How long do we have to wait for a more reasonable price on these?

Yes I did see that though from the photo it does not look like that's the case. Do you really think it's compatible from that photo? I've had the extended battery for the Storm and the holster worked fine because the battery cover did not extend on the upper portion where the camera is. Guess we'll have to wait for someone to actually dive in but in the meantime I'm sticking to what I can tell from that photo on their site.
Reasonable price? depends on what you think is reasonable. You do realize that without either the battery or the phone, the other is pretty worthless. I think it's a great price considering crap motorola batteries are $30
got this from seidio, just an fyi, they must be talking about different holsters or the listing might just be plain incorrect.

I ordered this, and its been shipped already and I am awaiting arrival. I also have the innocase and holster combo, and while I know the innocase wont fit, I will try the holster and report back if that one works.
any idea which case will work?
:/
I got mine today. Huge battery
The replacement cover is ok, although I am afraid it will accidentally slide off in my pocket.
Overall, the added bulk really doesn't make a huge difference, in fact it makes it a little easier to hold.
Can't wait to see what the battery life on this sucker is like.

I got mine today too. I also like the added bulk. It fits my Seidio holster, even though the innocase that I got with the holster wont fit. Made of the same material as the innocase so its hard to scuff etc. I'll report back after a few cycles to let people know what I'm getting usage wise out of it.
UPDATE:
Well, it came off the charger at 3:30pm today saying 100%. I have been hammering it mercilessly for 6 hours now. Streaming Pandora for six hours straight, Turned on GPS, set all of my social network notifications to the quickest pull intervals, and my mail also. I have had the web browser open for nearly three hours, had three calls of around 20 minutes each, and my awake time since I pulled the battery off the charger is 100%. I am sitting at 75% right now. I am trying to get the battery low so I can get a full charge for the next cycle, but this damn thing won't go down. I guess I'll try to download a game or something and play it while listening to Pandora. This thing is a beast....
This is a beast. Used it all evening last night, and the power meter did not budge.
Also the new back makes the Hero much easier to hold.
Waiting for a day in the office where I have a weak signal to see how it does there. I'm guessing this thing will make it through a day or two no matter what I throw at it.
By far the best accessory...
Awesome, guys, glad to hear this thing is the real deal. I'm thinking about getting one but I'm waiting for the price to go down. Anyone know if they usually do? Last extended battery I bought was only $7, this one is pretty steep.
I found a better deal but not in stock ATM:

watch out for these kinda deals, i'm fairly certain seidio's waranty doesn't transfer to 3rd party sellers completely.
I had purchased a battery from seidio previously that was DoA, and after a conversation with their RMA department getting my invoice number and all that, they said they will replace bad batteries from anywhere but since I purchased through seidio directly they would send me a replacement without having to send the old one back first (or at all, they just said to pitch it). The battery that was sent to me was tested with a full power cycle before being over-nighted to my door.
I don't know, it's something to think about. If I'm getting a quality piece of gear, and the service to back it. I don't mind throwing out an extra little bit.
I'm on my second charge. The phone has been off the charger since 12pm on Sunday. I am sitting at 70% on Monday at 2pm. I'm really liking the usage I am getting out of this. I did not beat on it too much yesterday, just a lot of normal use. I figure at this rate, I will have to charge it every three or so days. I'm hoping it improves after a few cycles, even though I've only charged it twice so far. I'm going to run it down to 30% or so before the next charge....who knows when that will be lol.
Hi,

I can only tell you that clip is great because I used it from one of the car mounts on ebay. But can't comment on how rigid/flexible that neck-stand going to be. Keep in mind, N2 is not that heavy, but once you add a case (like Defender) and/or something like ZL battery or another extended battery, it will add up.
I saw some of these on eBay. Can't see the link since it's blocked at work. But it's a flex tube. I might make something myself and test it out.
I dropped my Note II with Sweet Armor case on my face last night. Not cool.
I think i will order one as soon as possible but with a ZL battery i doubt it will work.

Did find these alternatives, which should easily handle the Note 2, but it is quite pricey

As I was laying in bed last night watching a movie on the little screen (so not to disturb the mrs) I was thinking I need one of these!
I have two of these on my bunk bed/desk, the arms are not as long as they have in the ebay picture (photoshopped obviously), and not very strong, if you have zero lemon on your note 2, you'll have to do a loop, otherwise it will bend a bit. I have usb cable zip tied to them.
You have to curl them at least half a circle, or they wont' stay up, and you'll have to put some rubber under the clip.
Watching movie and video is fine if you sleeping in your bed, but you want be able to surf the internet play game because your arm will get tired after 2 or 3 mins and also because it's so wobbly.

Thanks! Its just fine. Look good.
The size is about 70cm but like you said we have to do a loop and it's reduce the size.
But perfect for movie!
Where did you ordered these long arms?

I got them on ebay for $17 free postage, from HK.
I'm using two of them for the note 2 and its just so Damn heavy it bows under it's weight
I finally found one on ebay.com for 19 $ with shippin include. It stand really good in special position. On other the note 2 fall down with the arm
Please look at the picture, i don't really do a loop for more stability. Just turn back the support like i did

Good evening you good people of XDA land! :highfive:
I am looking for a new phone to replace my now very broken and almost dead iPhone 6 plus for a S7 Edge. When I get the new handset I will need a new case for it, but here is my dilemma! what case to go for?
I have read a lot of reviews that say the battery live isn't as good as other handsets win this size, so I'm not sure as weather to try a batter case. I've never used one and I'm a bit concerned that it will add too much bulk to the handset or worst case damage it in some way. for my old Iphone I had a Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal Cover Case and really like it but felt that the metal in places was very thin, and eventually it did break. I was thinking of getting the same for the S7 and getting an external battery charger thing.
I would be grateful for any advise and opinions form you chaps and chapets!

And an battery case can work well and more useful... because my S7E won't last whole day gaming...... ,start at 10 AM and battery dead at 9 PM(which is very good, but not enough for me D so get battery case if you need do fit or game..... if not get other case...... you can last one day without charge if you don't game....
Used since October and no once fall.(sorry if my English not so good)

1) $100 discount
2) It still has a headphone jack
3) It still has the fingerprint scanner on the front, where it belongs.
4) If required, there is a working root solution today. There are no guarantees an engineering root (or any root) will ever work on the S8.

This, 9 days away from revealing, for sale just after.
1. I'd pay $100 to have such a big difference. It's not like an iPhone that's virtually the same every year.
2.S8 has a headphone jack. Again, it's not an iPhone
3.Finger scanner on back isn't bad. Think about where you place your fingers on back when holding. It's not unergonomic. Plus, bigger screen so...
4. What is root really worth anymore? It's NOTHING like it used to be unless you want broken apps and $hit battery life

Thanks Joe, I've been bouncing back on forth on whether to root - mainly out of nostalgia for the fun of ROM swapping and eaking out more life from the phone.
But you've helped convince me there's very little I miss about rooting, nothing that isn't outweighed by stability.

I used to root/jailbreak EVERYTHING. I wouldn't buy a phone I couldn't root. I even still have a Note tablet running a CM Nougat. I wouldn't get a phone I couldn't root, I've built several stable af and reputable ROMs. Now days, especially with Package Disabler I haven't rooted in a long time. Xposed, everything is so problematic. Root cloaks don't hide root from most apps, and MANY apps are broken or simply state they won't work with root. Not to mention you run a kernel meant to be flashed, the phones problem fixed, then flashed stock. It's NOT for daily use. Instability, excessive battery drain, there's nothing enticing about root anymore.

It's a cost cutting exercise. I need a new phone and I want one that is as up to date as possible. I've got a iPhone 6 Plus but to upgrade to the 7 plus will set me back around £100 upfront and then £30-40 more a month than the s7.
I'm going to guess that the s8 will cost the same!

IMO, your best bet is to invest in wireless charging and not worry so much about battery. I have a dock for work and one for home. When I'm not using it, it's on the dock charging. Really changes how you use it over time. Case is really a personal choice. I'm happy as can be with Spigen Rugged Armor. Doesn't affect wireless rapid charge at all.
On another note, play with one at the store. The edge can be kind of frustrating. Case reduces ghost touches, but it's still there. There are also other little annoying things like the placement of the attachment button in messages. I use that several times a day, and it is annoyingly right on that edge. If you watch a lot of video tho, it really looks great on this screen.

Right on. I'd grab the phone first, see how it meets your needs. Accessories don't resell well, if at all. Power banks are cheap enough, altho I'll skip. I'd rather have an ugly case than 2 bricks tethered together. Good luck with your purchases.
ETA:
If you use power save mode on these, you can literally get days of use from a charge. With everything set to performance, I still get through a full day on it.

If you're leaving your phone in your pocket, then (depending on how tight your pockets are) you really have a choice between a case or a power bank. Personally I'd choose a bank because you can charge anything with it and they're insanely cheaper (US $15 vs. US$85 for a charging case). If you do get a case, I'd recommend spending a little extra (especially if you're getting the S7 on sale) and getting one from a solid company with a good manufacturer's warranty so that, if it breaks, you can get it fixed.
Another reason to get the S7E is that is still uses MicroUSB and not USB-C, so it'll be easier getting accessories for it.

eh dont deal with any carrier - tmo seems to be the least intrusive
if you really want it - get the 935F (exanos, international version). you'll get the latest updates from samsung and then also have the capability to load ROMs, etc if you want to. battery lasts longer too.

Hey everyone,
I thought I'd share the news with you all.
I spoke to the customer support and they've told me that the new ZeroLemon 10,000mAh Battery Case release was delayed and should be available for order around October 20th.
Since October 20th is actually Friday, I am assuming we would be able to order it the following week, anywhere between October 22nd-27th.
Those of you with the 5,500mAh, are you satisfied? Will you be upgrading to the 10,000mAh version?
Happy noting,

Video reviews when y'all find em, please. Not too keen on that giant bottom lip. Would rather the battery case be evenly measured around the frame of the phone, if you get what I'm saying.
I bought a ZeroLemon for my S8, I hated two things about it:
1. It needs an adapter to use the headphone jack.
2. The tiny "speaker box" (the cavity doesn't direct audio to the two vents, one is just cosmetic) muffles the sound A LOT!
1.) Not a fast charger
2.) Not enough drop protection
No thanks.

2) I did not know that, thanks!

1.) Not a fast charger
2.) Not enough drop protection
No thanks.

1) Why would a fast charge matter to you in this case? (see what I did there?)
If I activate the case when the phone is at 50% and it remains on 50% for the entire day, that's good enough for me.
Though I seriously doubt that will happen - even if it does, I personally am looking to extend my usage time - not increase my battery percentage throughout the day.
2) That is true. You would need a full edge-to-edge screen protector with this one, and in case of a flat drop on the screen - it might not be saved.
Then again, from what I've read no case will really help in that situation, so might as well get a charging case.

Look at the "chin" of the case. It's a flawed design and this extension extends the distant from the edge of the case to the headphone jack. So, you need a headphone jack extension adaptor to use headphones.
THat's why I returned my ZeroLemon and refuse to buy another until they fix this design.
Mophie juice packs and several other brands on Amazon don't require headphone jack adaptor and don't muffle the speaker audio.

5500 mah model will probably be the same dimensions as the 10000 model.
That's how it was with my S8 case. I thought the lower capacity one was a slimmer size, nope. It uses the same outer case to save them tooling money. The battery inside is just less dense and lighter but the whole thing is the same size.

Definitely not, watch the video they posted in the OP its a brick. I have the 5500 and its only slightly larger around the middle to bottom of the phone, the 10k will be an all around brick.

I'm just speaking of my experience when I bought the ZL for my S8. The small capacity model was the same size as the high capacity model.
Does yours have the fake speaker cutouts?
Does it require a headphone jack extension adaptor to use headphones?
I was wanting the 10000 but its the worst design ever from zerolemon it makes the phone even longer I might buy the 5500 that looked nicer and will fit my needs .. it's way to bulky
I want to know what your first hand experiences are with the 10,000 mah battery case. I had the 10,000 mah battery for my Note 3 and loved it. If people think this thing makes the Note 8 too big, then lets take a break and scroll down memory lane to touch tone wireless home phones. While it makes the Note 8 big, it is still technically "Small".

When you've got a 10,000mAh battery case on a Note 8, it's the floor you need to be worried about in the event of a drop!

Sure, I expect it too arrive within 2 weeks. I will let u know
I beleive this is the first battery case for the 7x/SE. Purchased at 36 USD, but price has dropped to 30USD. I just recieved it from Amazon, seems to be a good case. Reminds me of a Nexus 4 with the back style of the case. Adds a hefty 5000mah of power, but case does not seem to be too heavy, I hope the capacity is accurate. Makes the bottom 3/4 of the phone twice as thick. Will update review with use but so far pleased with the quality of the case.
Amazon Link: https://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable...srs=15054300011&ie=UTF8&qid=1523895460&sr=8-5
Edit: Not surprising but case usb does not have data.

The Android Oreo theme here https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7x/themes/stock-oreo-theme-v0-1-t3738855 gives a similar navigation bar. It also changes other UI elements to stock Android O.
im on my 2nd case for this phone. first one the case wouldnt turn off and it got so got it burnt my finger. the replacement now only charges the phone for 3 secs then turns off. i got 2 refunds 1 for each time, stay away till they get the case right.
i really want this case, there are no other sellers selling any extended battery cases for the mate se, is it because the phone was released just several months ago? or not a popular phone?
i really hope they start making more cases, 4000mah is not enough, id be happy with that case you put a link too, total 9000mah!
i have a zerolemon battery for some of my other phones and i can't live without them anymore, i charged every 2 or 3 days with big battery, with stock battery i usually have to charge everynight
unfortunately that link you posted the dont ship to my country!
i ended up getting this case, it was a good case for travelling as i have almost 200 apps and my battery only last 1 day,
i only used it for travelling, so i put it on and off alot, i should of been more careful and the mini usb snapped off,
you have to be very careful, its fragile
i had to solder my own usb cord on it, now it's like a power bank, i wish i could get another one of these but the manufacturers stopped making them
