Hello
After an unfortunate event - my dear Mi8 got broken and won't turn on anymore.
What's the method here, please, in order to recover my memory? Any "precise" thoughts on how to do this?
I was thinking of buying another one and just exchange the PCB (motherboard) from the non-working in to the working one
Thanks and let me know about this, please

Hi Everyone,
I have made a thread a few weeks ago regarding to some rooting problem, however not many people replied with useful answer, so I brought it to a phone repairer and then he fixed it and rooted it for me.
Now I have a new problem, I cannot use the phone storage after rooting it, seems like the phone does not recognise the phone storage, I have already sent this problem to the phone repairer, but I know there are many expert in this forum, so I would like to know what I can do to fix it.
E.G. when I take a photo, the phone would say 'unable to save file to phone storage due to insufficient file permission', I searched on google, seems like not a lot of people have this problem, everyone have the problem with 'unable to save file to SD cad' but not phone storage.
let me know that you guys think
Cheers
When didn't your phone recognised the phone storage, after rooting or after flashing a custom rom ?

First of all, sorry if it is not the right subforum for this question.
The pins of SIM reader are broken and I ask for help to fix it. I know it is necessary to change the reader but I was searching the solution and Im not found a tutorial that explained well. Someone has managed to fix the same problem? If so, please share it. I would like to return to work.
Thank u very much and sorry for my english.

Hi
I am not well into electrical component, but in my experience of disassembling the Xperia SP, the SIM reader and SD Card slot is mounted indefinitely to the motherboard. I'm not very certain that you can replace it.
Although, if you are speaking of changing the pins directly on the module, then I am really out of knowledge on that matter.
Hi, I'm trying to repair one Z3C phone, one component is missing (rip-off, chipsize 0201, probably resistor) and probably reason why TS is not working.
Is there anybody that maybe have some damaged non working motherboard for selling, it would help a lot.
Or if anybody have open device, if there is a possibility to measure this component on board (it is probably resistor)?
