Hi, This is my first posting - please be kind.
After setting up a WPA-PSK authentication on my wireless router, I can’t connect to the Internet with my XDAIIi. I have configured Network Authentication on XDAIIi to match the one on the router and error message I’m getting is:
“Cannot log on to the wireless network. This network requires a personal certificate to positively identify you”. I have checked the SSID and password on both the router and XDAIIi and they match.
How do I enter the a personal certificate to positively identify myself? Any ideas?
PS. My laptop works fine with the same settings.
hello guys.
My HD7 cannot connect to wifi router. After putting in the password, it keeps trying to connect and after one min throws an error that sorry couldnot connect to the wifi connection. I am using a simple wifi router and not any N router
Authentication type is WPEA2
Thanks in advance
I found this article ( i am not allowed to post link) which says something about a bug in HD7 and venue pro which doesnot allow them to connect to wifi. Any workaround guys
Wifi problem...
Hi,
What is your network SSID name?
I had the wifi problem with my HD7 while my network SSID name had mixed capital and lowercase characters like "GedikNet"
Try to change your network SSID name to all capital or all lowercase characters. (like "gediknet").
Good luck.
Bye.
ssid is SHARAD. still unable to connect
can't have hidden ssid
Hi, if your network is hidden, unhide it. The darn thing cannot connect to a hidden network. I know it is extreamly annoying but that is what Bill-ware gave us.
Hopefully, they will fix it in the update.
Initial connection to my home Wifi was unsuccessful. I had to restart the router and all went fine. Setup: WPA2/AES, b/g/n mixed and SSID is not hidden. It is a Linksys/Cisco device. Check your MAC filter if it blocks your device. DHCP server has to be turned on.
Regards,
Cina.
i did not have an issue with the wifi router... all i had to do is get my mac id as i filter my pc, notebook and pda by mac id..
i heard the ssid must be visible it cant connect to those hidden ones...
maybe lowering the security level will help as well..
HAVE YOU resolve the problem? i can not connect my home wifi as well.
thanks
Seen an app in the HTC hub called hidden wifi but not sure if it helps
Sent from my HD2 using XDA App
Hey guys
When I'm trying to connect on a WiFi network my phone won't connect (except my home WiFi) and it just says that the network is saved. Any solutions? Thanks in advance
2 possibilities - router channels/freq is not supported by your phone or router has Mac filtering to allow only certain Mac addresses
Hello All,
For some reason I have an 802.1x EAP saved network on my profile that doesn't give me the option to "forget." all the other networks, non 802.1x EAP, networks is able to g let me forget the the wifi SSID.
I have logged into several android devices and it seems like this network follows me.. anyway that I get forget and delete this network?
try, unless you did already, maybe from settings/wifi/advanced/manage networks
Hello,
Since the last Update (global Rom) my mi9 can't connect to my WiFi, neither 2,4 GHz nor 5ghz. Has anyone else figured the same Problem or is it just me? It just says connecting and stops then.
I have the same issue but just with one router (Vodafone). Any other router connects perfect. Did factory reset on both, didn't help. Tried static ip, didn't work. I guess your router has the same problem as mine: it can't handle the changing Mac address of Android 10. Workaround for me now is to restart the phone and voila it connects.
As soon as I can get a new router I will change it.
Had the same issue. I had to put my phone ip and mac address in address reservation option in my router and now working as have to be
