hi
I am not very good at these things but,
I want to try to import libsignal javascript library into tasker, and use it. I wonder if this sounds possible? I want to use it to send signal messages from tasker.
and if so, I would really love recommendations about how to do it in practice, local or not.
i found one place where someone imported a library just by adding a cdn link(like this
https://imgur.com/2fvywIm
) , so I found this and wonder if its enough, https://www.jsdelivr.com/package/npm/libsignal
Thanks for any help!

try saving it as .wav on your \windows dir
Umm...look above....lol... gues i was too wordy....
Thought I'd take a chance with this one. First what format is the media type you are working with. I have found under sounds and notifications -- >Start >Settings > Sounds and Notifications is where you have the granularity to make some choices. First you have to make sure a .wav format of the file exists in the correct Windows folder of your mobile OS to be able to use the file (*hint locate the names of the default sounds listed in the S&N dropdown list*). Took me about a week to realize that i was bound by M$ file types (.wav). If you need to convert a file from one format to another there are an assundry of apps to look at, but i recommend a look at audacity (only for quick learning curve and open source app).
Hope this provides some insight. As I am using a rom i found on this forum i don't remember the default path for a Kaiser or AT&T tilt anymore. Locating the file browser via activesync should provide more help in locating where the file should reside.
Don't toss the phone or if you want to sling it my way, wy wife could use the device (best I have had to date IMHO).
Cheers and good luck.
For the record, WAV and MIDI files will only work if they are in the \windows\ directory in the root of your device. This confused me when I first got my Tilt because my Wizard would see them in \My Documents\ on my SD card.
Not sure about wavs or midis, but it will use MP3s off of the storage card.
I'm using L26 v5 ROM and the MP3s in the Mp3 directory on my SD card root all show up under selectable ring tones.
Yeah as ringtones. But not text message tones, correct?
@Renegade503 we welcome your eagerness to learn about your device. But your flooding our board with n00bish questions, and repeatedly posting about stuff you can find in the manual sooo
RTFM ...
Just in case you dont understand what that means, and so you dont make another post asking what it means, i will just tell you..
Read The F**king Manual
Please Please Please do some reading on this site and on others, you might want to start with howardforums.com so that you may get a better grip on just what kind of phone you have. You can also read our wiki that has a wealth of information. Most people on here is not going to spoon feed you the answers.
i'm not a mod but maybe combine his threads into one?
Is there a Way to make a Offline Wikipedia?
I didnt found just online Wikis but no offline?
Put the Wiki on the SD and open with a App?
Hope someone can help me!
I would imagine that it would take quite a lot of space to put the entire wiki database on an SD card. Hundreds of gigs.
ther eis an app for winmo
that does that....
it has 2 versions, one you buy with no updates
and the other one you buy and have unlimited updates...
the website has a mailing list to be notified when it will eb avail for android...
however i dont remember either the name or the website .... i did sign up for the newsletter though...
There's a handful for ipods and a few hacks for other devices. Basically you need two thing: the static HTML files and an HTML viewer.
There's some static DLs here, I can't grab these at work though. anyone want to test chucking one on their SD and seeing if Astro or Linda will open them in a browser?
If the HTML files are available, or if someone can grab the ipod files, I'm sure there's some dev on here smart enough to get a reader working.
EDIT: looks like XML files might be the best way to go. Just need an app to parse it.

Hello,
I am thinking of substituting Google Docs for my basic word editor as I can access and edit files through it on my phone. However, there is one function delaying me from this switch, printing. Is there any way to print a Google Doc, or any document for that matter, through a wifi connected printer from Android or one of its apps? I realize that this may be quite impossible but I would like to be assured one way or the other.
Thank you,
Evervoid
look for the "send 2 printer" in the market it might help
Hi Folks..
I was wondering whether there is an app that support MS VPN, my work pals have Droids and they have the option within thier wireless settings, Either I am blind or B&N took that option out...
Does anyone know a method of re-activating this function or an app that can replace the functionality?
Thanks all.

I'm looking as well. Will share if I find something.

Try this!!
http://code.google.com/p/get-a-robot-vpnc/
Looks like a Cisco Client... When I get home though I will try it out, thank you for the URL!!!
I spent a bit of time trying to get this to work, but I'm not a network infrastructure person, and I couldn't figure out how to map the fields from Cisco VPN Windows session's settings to the fields the Android app expects.
I'm now looking for a Citrix client to read ICA files directly.
Bump:
I'm also looking for a way to connect to a MS VPN from the Nook Color.
Anyone have luck with this?
Tony
I am fairly certain Android has native PPTP support, maybe using poptop or whatever the free one is called.
I think my dx has it atleast.
Hi Folks, I hope I'm posting this in the right section withoud doubling another thread because I have found hints here and there but no actual, efficient solution to my problem.....
Excuse my english, I'm french and couldn't find any solution on french forums either so I'm knocking at your door....
I've always had Android devices but because of some technical issues my provider lended me a WM8 phone (Nokia Lumia 520) for a couple of months before I can get back a new Android phone.
I have the two phones with me for a couple of days but I'm having a hard time transfering some data from the WM8 phone back to my Android, especilly :
-call log (could cope without)
-pdf files (important)
-sms threads (critical)
I mainly focused on SMS's, thinking of different means I could expand upon later on if need be (app, backuping through desktop, outlook or Gmail synch, getting android to synch with OneDrive....) none of this worked so far.
Thanks in advance for your kind help
The only one you will get is the PDF files. You should be able to upload them all into OneDrive and then download them to your PC. From there, transfer them to your Android. The other two are stuck in the Windows cloud, just like how you can't transfer SMS threads from iPhone to Android.
if you come up with something, let the rest of us know!
It *might* be possible to import messages using Bluetooth. I know you can do it from Android to WP8. The other direction... never tried, no idea.

I hoped so from the very begining but I couldn't find any info about doing it the other way round as you mention :/
in the worst case, is there a means to backup those sms in order to check them later on, or print them maybe ?
Well, they're automatically backed up if you turn it on (Settings -> Backup) but that just goes to Microsoft's "cloud" and I don't know how easy it is to find / download / import it would be.
