Samsung Reactivation Lock broken? - Galaxy S6 Active

Hellow, I am the owner of a Samsung Galaxy S6 I think its Europe version because I bought it in spain.
In march 2020 I had decided to factory resset my phone because I had a lot of junk. To my surprise when the Welcome screen for a setup showed up and I was trying to set it up (I did this probably once a year) a message of "The phone was factory resseted on a anormal way please sign in to your samsung account to unlock the device". Keep in mind here in spain we were in a complete lock down. I did put my email and password it showed 2 messages and noething happned, and I know its not the wrong password because if i did type a random thing it will show "Wrong ID" so I tried contacting samsung but as we were on a lockdown it was imposible, I tried from find my phone (samsung version) and I clickcked on unlock phone (while the phone was connected to the inernet) but noething happned as a last resource I tried flashing a custom rom (I had Samsung Official Rom) but when I go to oddin mode or download mode it shows: Reactivation Lock: ON.
Is there any way to unlock it, my mothers phone is broken and she is in need of one.
I have attached some imagenes.
I hope I can find a fix, because the most anoing thins is that is supposed to be a mecanisim so if the phone gets stolen, but i have been the owner of it for 5 years

Brand New Phone - Bricked

I am hoping for some advice. I bought a brand new n9208 online and it arrived today. I booted the phone up, logged into my google account, Samsung account, etc. All went well. Then I transferred content from my Galaxy s6 using the Samsung Smart Switch app. All worked well. Then I popped the Sim tray and put in my Sim and it asked to reboot. That is where it all went wrong...
When it booted up it had in little red writing in the top left hand corner "custom binary blocked by FRP lock". Then the phone turned off. When I turn it on same thing happens. I manged to get into download mode and Knox is 0x1.
When I first opened the box, it appeared to be sealed in the box with the sticker. I did notice though that "SuperSU Pro" was installed in the device though? I think it had something to do with a Languages app that was on the phone.
Any ideas what has happened? Could this have been modified by the online shop?

hi,
Firstly it appears that the phone was rooted.. re SuperSu Pro app and also (as far as i understand) if it says FRP lock.... the OEM lock in Developers option (Device /Settings/Developers option /OEM lock is enabled.. was never turn off.?
(All info i have seen similar post around this forum.)
If you search you will find similar post.
I have seen some fixes if i remembered correctly.
You can either return phone which i recommend.... or.... try and fix it youself ?
Otherwise if you want to fix it yourself..?
If you can get into Download mode and flash correct official stock Rom for your device / phone model ...? It might help.
Bottom line
is that phone cannot be brand new (on you explanation )
It been rooted, thus SuperSu Pro, FRp lock turned on and knox 0x1 .
good luck

Seems pretty shady to me. You might've bought a carrier-locked unit that was somehow unlocked and sold as a 'brand new' device. They would've done something to unlock the bootloader, flashed an unsecure kernel and rooted the device to get it that way if they didn't have access to carrier unlock codes. Stickers and shrink-wrap can be easily faked. I've actually witnessed naked iPhone boxes being 'factory sealed' at the back of shops in Hong Kong. It would not surprise me if they did the same thing to Android devices too. I've heard of OnePlus 2 units being sold as new only for the owners to discover the 'new unit' already its bootloader unlocked when they try to root it, meaning that it had already been opened and modified (FYI -- before anyone jumps in and says 'OP2 come with unlocked BLs!' -- I have an International OP2 -- it doesn't come with an unlocked BL -- you need to unlock it first before you root it, which is what I did. Besides, even the China devices need their BL unlocked first so their owners can flash Oxygen).
Anyway, I assume you're pretty annoyed by this and want your device in factory state -- you may have already thought of this but you can always request for a refund from the store -- but they can easily claim it was sold new and sealed. If you paid via credit card, you can probably try asking your card company to suspend the payment so you have leverage in a dispute. Or if it was paid for via PayPal you can request for your money back. It might not even be the shop's fault. It might've been their supplier that passed them the dubious unit. There's any number of plausible scenarios.
Lastly -- since your device already has knox tripped anyway, your warranty (such as it was) is void so you can try getting your device to work by flashing the stock 9208 ROM (just search for it, it's all over) via Odin. Good luck.

You should request a refund straight away. Your phone was rooted and tampered with. Knox and Samsung pay will not work for you ever.
Refund and return
PM'd you

Sounds like the phone was reported stolen to Samsung and they locked out down.
If the phone can get to download mode, maybe Odin the update to wipe it completely. Don't know if this will work.

I did a factory reset with reactivation lock enabled on my s6. Upon set up and after I enter my Google account info, I am now also required to enter my Samsung account ID and PW. I am entering the correct info but get "processing failed" error message. I've tried everything for days now. After calling AT&T without resolution, I called Samsung and am told my only option is to mail them my phone with proof of purchase and a tech will fix it...3-4 week turn around

Can't login to Samsung Account: "Processing Failed"

Hello,
i've got a SM-N950X Demo Unit that i bought to use it as a small tablet at home. I've flashed SM-N950F without a Problem, it runs fine. I had used my Samsung account to download a font from the Galaxy store. everything was fine. So today i wanted to use bixby and it wanted me to log into my Samsung account, but everytime i try it, it says "processing failed". But i know for 100% sure the Password is correct, because i can log in on my S9 without a Problem. Also, if i Input a wrong Password it will say "wrong Password" and not "processing failed". So i tried to create another account from the phone. it worked, but i could not enter the Samsung account Settings anymore, it Always goes back after 0,5 seconds. So i changed the Password of my new account and now i am again stucked at "processing failed". I cant factory reset too, because he wont take my Samsung account, Always "processing failed".
I can still use the phone but cant use Samsung account functions. I fear of a recovery factory reset because of FRP lock? Or Samsung Lock? Are they the same?
OEM Lock and FRP Lock in Download-Mode are turned off, i am save to reflash or will i get permanently locked out because of Samsung account lock?
Phone is completely stock, no root, no knox triggered.
Thanks a lot!
If you purchased it at a store you should go there and request help. As far as I know owners of "Demo" units issues are rarely or never helped in XDA because of the probabilities of it being a stolen device ( not saying that's the case...)

Ok, i purchased it from a private Person on eBay, so i dont think i can get help from him.
thanks anyway.

Note 9 (India) Stolen

Someone took the Note 9 away from my pocket.
I had logged in to my samsung account to trace it.
It was showing not in network for some days now it totally disappeared from samsung findmymobile site.
How can I find/get it back?
FRP Lock
Sorry that you might not be able to get it back, someone intentionally theft the phone. However, you can file a police report and your SIM card carrier to block the IMEI number of the phone, so that it can't be used on other networks.
But before that, make sure your data won't be in the hands of wrong person. Login to your Samsung account and lock the device, which does the FRP lock and there won't be a way thief would access your data.
On a side note, I found the advantage of galaxy watch (or gear S3) which has find my phone option. Immediately after you lost the phone you can activate find my phone in watch and the phone will start ringing loud.
What are the chances to get it back after police complaint
Can someone change IMEI of phone?
Can the phone be tracked if someone starts using it?

it only can be traced if your accounts are active i.e Samsung account and Gmail account, but please note the data connection also needs to be enabled!
Did you have a passcode or pin or iris or fingerprint enabled ? Also did you have network lock enabled ?
if you had no lock enabled and the phone has gone off the network that means the thief has factory reset your phone, and he using his owm email account that’s why you cannot track it!
So it's gone for ever!
So what about IMEI tracking? Wouldn't it be of any help?
I had heard that even after factory reset if the theif inserts a new SIM card he can be traced by IMEI number.
What are the chances?

Cops can do that, track an imei using the carrier but we as common people don't have access.
I feel like you should treat it as gone unless you are unable to use find my phone,
The cops might be able to get your phone back using the imei if you registered a complaint but it takes a while.
I remember my phone (note 3 unlocked snapdragon) got stolen in a Mumbai local train on 12/26/16 & I registered a complaint and got a new phone (Zuk z2 plus) on 1/28/17.
The number of days I lived without the phone were the days I tried my best to use find my phone or track the phone in any way but it was switched off whenever I tried to track it.
The cops got the phone and returned it to me on 12/17 [i don't remember the exact date but it was after 20th], I was using note 7 ported rom before the theft but when I received it, it had the stock note 3 rom which means they flashed it with Odin since the kernel was back to stock as well.
I used the phone as a remote for the television since it had an IR blaster and now on 11/06/19 it died the display doesn't turn on [probably hardware failure but don't care anymore ]
I switched from Zuk z2 to note 9 [128 Exynos] on June 8th & have changed the country too :silly:
My point is they may never even turn it on without flashing it & the moment they get your phone, 10 mins in & it is probably switched off and your sim is out.
Hope you find your phone :fingers-crossed: but don't count on it for too long

A605FN Root/Recovery Questions

Hello!
I am new to this forum and also completely new to phone modding etc.
I will shortly explain what situation I am in so maybe someone can enlighten me a little so I know what to do.
A year ago I bought a phone on polish trading site called Allegro.pl, for months it worked without issues, it was a brand new phone.
A few weeks ago a message popped on screen telling me the phone is now locked due to failure in monthly payments. (Previous owner).
I tried all ways of contacting the seller but to no avail. His phone number is off, he does not answer e-mails.
I decided to just ditch the phone and use some old backup phone I had saved. The problem however is that the old phone died and right now I can't afford buying a new one.
Getting this phone into a working condition (without any lock) is my only option so here are the things I have done so far:
I have flashed the latest Android 10 Firmware but right after the initial set up is done (after recovery) the phone locks.
There is no window with the information anymore however, but I can't use any of phone's options or apps in anyway.
I have found a way to bypass that for a brief moment and managed to turn OEM lock off and Enable USB debugging.
(When phone asks for Wi-Fi network I used my old SIM card and told the phone to connect using SIM's connection and right after the initial setup is done I quickly unplugged the SIM so the phone has no connection to internet anymore and the lock didn't start right away. It took me a while to figure it out, been sitting in front of my PC up until 5 am last night.)
If I install TWRP and a custom rom will it bypass the lock on the phone and will I be able to use it normally again?
Will I have to change the firmware somehow, or what exactly will I have to do to make use of the phone again?
IMEI's appear to not be locked as of now.
Any help, information, advice on this subject will be greatly appreciated!
