Red Wolf Recovery is custom recovery based on TWRP source code however some things are working here slightly different then you might expected. The main objective of this project is to provide stable recovery with features which you have never seen before in a recovery and which have not been accepted for adding to the official source code of TWRP. This recovery is also first recovery on the world with password protection.​

Installation instructions:
Same as twrp. If twrp already installed go to install section, select install image, tap on the recovery.img and tick to recovery than swipe.

Please remember that recovery with password protection isn't still a full protection for your phone. Red Wolf can only prevent unauthorized access to your device from recovery. But your device can be still reinstalled using fastboot or Miflash.

MIUI Incremental OTA Support
Not Working this feature !

Doesn't support MIUI Incremental OTA, however, survived the complete system upgrade. Other than TWRp it was replaced by standard recovery and should be reinstalled. Good job!

When rebooting to recovery I have to enter a password to decrypt data and then I have access to the recovery, but I shouldn't yet because I have also a password to the recovery. So without the password, I can format data etc, and then when I want to reboot to recovery it asks for a password, which is a little late, don't you think?

Thanks. Indeed, this is a known issue (relates to FBE encryption). It will be fixed in due course (at least it doesn't compromise data security, because the correct password is still needed before data can be accessed).

I had a similar problem, I had to flash TWRP via bootloader (not the official, the one by Arian, that works better) and then as I had been having trouble with the ROM I also wiped system and caches and flashed the ROM and GApps, after booting I went again to recovery and flashed OrangeFox, no problem so far since then

how do I decrypt the internal storage? I do the formatting and I enter recovery and everything is fine, and after I start the system and go back to recovery this is encrypted

damn i just noticed that my lock feature is no more lol

Which rom and kernels supoort F2FS?

Installed this orange fox recovery and advanced wiped everything except external sd card and after flashing custom rom with latest magisk zip when i try to set it up at startup, it start again for google setup and it looping like this on on on every custom rom i tried. After reverting to old twrp recovery everything works fine on my redmi 7 (3/32) .

Yeah. it comes with ERROR 255 when tying to install.

I'll update the link.

I installed TWRP latest version and couldnt install the zip. I rebooted to recovery and now phone keeps opening on fastboot mode. Any suggestions for a solution to this? I stil want to install this rom.

I finally made it working.
Some notes:
-need 64 bit recovery
-format data after install
-i saw thatyou dont need to wipe to install but i haven't tried it.

Use the 64bit TWRP or else u will get error 255 and probably stuck in the bootloader screen if you reboot to the system.

Please remove this from instructions . Spes does not support wiping these . This can cause confusions among newcomers.

Some links do not work, for example recovery, firmware, etc.

After the first boot, the command "fastboot boot twrp.img" does not work... Reboot and stuck in first splash logo, not booting twrp (tested TWRP 3.7 and TWRP 3.6)

So, i'm trying to install the februar version. Impossible. I got an error message afetr reboot, who back to pixel recovery.
Try some differents install, try download again the rom etc .... always error.
So I migred to another rom.
