Now that I've done that, now what? Where do I go from here? Does anyone have any ideas?
What was your reason for rooting?
Some ideas would be Adblock Plus, Magisk, and Viper4Android. I haven't been rooted for a while now so I'm out of the loop on the best apps.

Guys, please help.
I'm using an app that does not work with the rooted android.
Is it possible to root and then delete some useless Verizon apps and then unroot a Verizon LG G2?
TIA

What app? You can try installing Xposed and one of the root cloaking modules...

Good for enterprise.
I must not have root and also I don't want to use cloaking apps.
Thanks.

As far as I know, there's no way to unroot once rooted (except going back to stock, but that'll just put the bloat back in). I read quite a bit regarding modding and have never come across it.

Probably gonna have to stick to stock then... You can disable most apps via App Manager...
Thanks.
You can unroot from super su. If you scroll all the way down in the supersu settings It will say complete unroot. You can do that. I've checked it and root went away. Although I didn't modify any files/recovery/kernel or delete anything.
Ive been on here for about 4 hours and to no avail, I cant find the answer to my question. I have a Verizon HTC 10 rooted with SuperSU and TWRP. Im still on version 6.0.1 (MM) with the software 1.85.605.8. My question is, can I go about unrooting SuperSU without losing anything ( data, apps etc) and installing Magisk in its place?
I want to know what Im at risk of losing before I do a full unroot of SuperSU.
In the same boat
I did my first root yesterday on a Nexus 7 with Nexus Root Toolkit v2.1.9 which apparently uses Chainfire SuperSU. Now I find I really needed Magisk to deal with the app issues. I've seen a couple tutorials about switching but not clear if I will have to lose everything and start from scratch. Any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated
This sounds like it really should be in the Magisk forums... There's info there (check the stickies).
I need help figuring out a way to hide root from apps like Snapchat or Pokemon go. I know there are other forums, but none that are like this issue I'm having. Magisk doesn't seem compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, SM-G892U, as it caused some kind of issue that says to contact someone as something unauthorized was installed on the device. I can't get TWRP either, since that isn't compatible with my device anyway. RootCloak doesn't work, as it doesn't let me switch my root back on. I have nothing else to resort to. I hope there is still a way, otherwise I will unfortunately have to use another phone, or unroot. If anyone has a fix or some method, please help!
How did u achieve root
I have long used supersu and have been having lots of troubles with Magisk including many root apps not working properly. I know all about the potential issues with supersu but might be willing to accept that. So has anyone gone this route? Or is it simply not possible with this device? Thanks
Phone had been behaving funny.
Ran a system log.
I'm a noob with this **** so here's a few screen shots that worried me.
The ONLY way to root the P4XL is with Magisk and the Magisk app will tell you if you are rooted or not. If you don't have the magisk app, you are not rooted. If you have it, it will tell you.

Rooting doesn't just happen while you're not looking. Agreed that if you can't find Magisk on your phone, you're not rooted.
Not to be unkind, but if you're poking around in logs, hoping for wisdom to show up, I'd pass on rooting. Getting it wrong can do very ugly things to the phone.
