Samsung does not boot into download mode but Odin detects the phone - Galaxy Ace S5830i General

I wanted to reset the firmware on my Samsung phone. Unfortunately, I apparently downloaded the wrong firmware and flashed it on the phone with Odin. Now the phone is still on, but it only shows a black screen. I also do not enter the download mode but Odin recognizes the Samsung phone. If I try to play the right firmware on it then comes either "Setup Connection" or "Fail". What can I do to make my phone run again

[q] Can't Boot Galaxy S before "failed" rom installing.

Hi.
I have installed Cyanogen in my Galaxy S and i flashed back to froyo 2.2.1 . When Odin restarts the phone it hangs on black sreen before Galaxy S animated logo.
I tried flash it again with odin, but when i plug the USB cable Windows not recognice the device and i can't flash it again with Odin.
I tried it in 3 computers and the error appears again.
I was able to enter on Recovery and Download mode, but now if y try enter on recovery i get the Link error (Phone , Warning Signal and Computer).
I always can enter in download mode, but can't do anything because i can't connect it to odin..
The trouble isn't reflash, the trouble if i can't detect the mobile in ODIN
Solved.
pulling off the battery around half an hour, Windows recognizes the phone whitout problem and i can install Movistar original rom to seek for any Usb problem and send it to the service

[Q] I9000 won't boot after factory reset

I had a problem with the radio and went to my dealer and he did a factory reset. When the phone boots it now hangs on the Samsung logo. I was running Darky's v5.2 gingerbread edition voodoo. The phone was rooted and the 3 button function was working ok.
Now I can only use the power+down volume+home combo and it goes into download mode and says Downloading... Do not turn off Target!!!
In this mode neither ADB or Odin will connect. If I do a normal boot Odin will connect but i can't do anything. When I try the power+vol down+home boot it just goes into a reboot loop.
i've read all the tricks to get into recovery mode but none are working for me. I need to get it back to factory original so I can send it for warranty repair. The phone is only 2 months old.
Any ideas welcomed.
i'm having the same problem, i was running darky's v8 then i did a factory reset and now it won't bootup, i can get into download mode but not into recovery mode
1. Threads,for this already exists.
2. Download odin and stock firmware from samfirmwares.com

I've read all the same issue posts but none solve my problem. I can't get Odin to connect to the SG. If I put the SG in download mode with the 3 button combo, Odin won't connect. ADB also can't connect to the SG as the SG won't boot. I've tried everything suggested but it simply won't connect. I guess the SG is now a bin job. The only way to get a connection in Odin is to let the SG boot and hang then connect. Odin can see the SG but you can't do anything unless the SG is in download mode. ADB can't reboot the SG either. Something must be wrong with SBL but I can't find a way to fix it. My fingers are sore from so many 3 key combos over the last few days.
Full brick and leave it in for repair and blame on kies?

All the thread answers require the use of ADB and or Odin. This is the problem, I can't get the SG to connect to Odin when the SG is in download mode. Something is wrong with the SBL so the download mode isn't working. If I could get the download mode fixed the rest is easy. The only time Odin can see the SG is when I let the SG boot normally and it hangs. Then I connect the USB and Odin sees the SG. As it is not in download mode, Odin can't send anything. ADB gives an error that it can't connect to the device so I can't use ADB to put the SG in dl mode. To summarize, I can only get the SG to either hang on boot or go into a faulty dl mode with the 3 key combo.
Sounds more like a USB problem. Change USB port and or remove and reinstall Kies/USB drivers .

so you could never get into recovery mode or only after he did a reset?
if it's not a usb problem as suggested above then i agree with "Full brick and leave it in for repair and blame on kies?", if they can't get it in dl mode or recovery either they won't know what you've done to it, or they might, so leave that as a last option

[Q] I9000 Gingerbread 2.3.3 root gone south, plz help

Hi
I was trying to root my Galaxy with gingerbread 2.3.3.
I installed Odin3 and downloaded CF-Root-XW_NEE_JVH-v3.2-CWM3RFS put the tar in PDA on Odin, restarted my phone, put it into download mode, pluged in the USB, pressed start, and got a failure notice and that there was a Comm error.
I figured that there was not done anything to the phone since there was a comunitation error, so i unplugged the phone and tryed to start it up, but there was only a black screen with a picture of a phone...Triangle with !...and a PC sign.
I then tryed to look on the web for a clue, and someone was writing that Heimdall was so much better to use.
So i downloaded Heimdall-suite-1.3.1-win32 and opend XXJVT_Heimdall.tar in Heimdall, Connected the Phone in download mode and started the prossess, after a few moments i got error in uploading PIT and the whole thing aborted.
When i try to turn off the phone now, notting happens, not even the black screen with the triangle. Its only download mode that works.
Can someone plz help me? im lost!
If download mode works, it's should let u use odin again or not?
Don't worry. Rule of thumb: if you can get into download mode, you're fine.
Download a firmware of your choice (JVS being the newest, I've literally just flashed it). Boot into download mode and flash the firmware. You'll be back to stock. From here, you can install a custom kernel with root.
same kind of issue with me..the only difference cant get into download mode..stuck on the at&t logo..the phone keeps on flashing a white n black screen..any help?

[Q] Tab not recognized in download mode, Odin, Kies, upload mode not working....

Seems like my Tab P1000 is major f**k**!
I've had issues with the tab showing up in Odin from day one...Does not show up.
Managed to get the tab rooted thru One Click Root.
Tried to get CWM but couldn't find it anywhere for P1000.
Downloaded and installed Mobile oding to try flashing Overcome.
Put all the files into Mobile Odin, and started flashing.
This was when things went sour...
The flashing just stopped for several hours at the Samsung Logo screen, after 5 hours i just turned the whole tab off holding PWR button.
Tried to go into upload mode, but that didn't work, got "Power reset or unknown upload mode". The tab goes into Download mode, but displays as "Unknown Device" in Device manager in Windows7 (I am running 64bit). I have tried to install the Samsung USB drivers, still does not detect the tab. Tab is not detected by Kies, Odin or Heimdall at all. Displays as Unknown Device in Zadig, and the driver is not possible to install. I think I have read through all the posts available regarding this subject, but not sure. I hope there is a way of fixing this without disassembling the Tab.
I purchased the Tab from a colleague, and he had installed the 2.3.3 firmware on it. He said he got Odin working and that was how he put 2.3.3 in. Could this be the source of the problem??
It got nothing to do with your colleague flashing 2.3.3 using odin.
I use Odin all the time, but never have actually tried Mobile Odin.
But I suspect the actual problem was, your G-tab was not properly rooted.
After you tried rooting your G-tab, did you tested it with Titanium backup or with any apps requiring root access?
Installing custom rom requires root access, otherwise it will fail in the middle because of write access failure.
Unrecognized by Windows 7... As many posts state, you need to connect to kies at least once before going to download mode so that your g-tab could be detected by Windows.
You may try this solution:
Start Odin on your computer, connect your g-tab and while connected to the computer, reboot your g-tab again to download mode. Do this three to five times, and see if Odin can detect it.

s3 mini bricked when trying to flash stock rom

Put my phone in download mode.
Then launched Odin which shows "Added" in status
Browsed md5 file in Boot loader (BL) in Odin
Presssed start. Intitally it went (Not responding) then, at the end it say 0 succesful/1 failed
Closed Odin and launched other version of odin.
Browsed md5 file in Boot loader (BL) in Odin
Presssed start. Intitally it went (Not responding) then, it stuck at "get connection" for long time.
So i closed Odin and tried to re-enter download mode, so i pulled out the battery.
After putting the battery in, the phone don't start up, don't go in download mode, no vibration, not even screen blink, not even soft key light blink. Nothing.
After googling, tried to make JIG of 0.3Mega Ohm, and tried on phone but it won't go in download mode.
Browse md5 file in AP in Odin.
