I deleted my samsung account before removing the reactivation lock from my Uk R845f watch, now it won't allow me to unlock.
Made an account with same details but it still states not account used to lock watch.
Samsung say it needs to go back for repair, is there anything else I could do, been reading up on flashing combo files but don't get it, It was on the latest fw.
Don't mind paying for help...
Okay,
My original fw was r845fxxu1duc1 , r845foxa1duc1
I tried to flash a combo file COMBINATION-FT55_R845FSQU1AUB1.tar fails near the end and then watch wouldn't reboot so I flashed this fw onto watch R845FXXU1CTJ5 then watch was back but still locked.
Now I have tried another 2 combo files COMBINATION-FT55_R845FSQU1ATG3.tar and COMBINATION-FT55_R845FSQU1ATI1.tar and both always fail at the end, so I have to reflash fw to get watch back, what I'm I doing wrong?
Also there is nothing corrupt going on here, I am the original owner and willing to show through message any form of id along with sales invoice.
Thanks
Okay tried 5 different combination files and none work, all fail just at the end of the flash.
Guess my watch due to being quite new as some form of newer security, so it is going back to service centre.

Hey guys,
I bought a phone off of Craigslist and it appears that the phone is locked with a password. I tried to go through the bootloader and do a factory reset but I get a message that the MDM Does Not Allow Reset or something along those lines. I have also tried to use Odin to flash a stock recovery, that goes through successfully, but upon starting up the phone it appears that the password is still locked to the phone and nothing changed.
I tried calling the person who I purchased the phone from and there is no answer, so at this point I feel like I lost money and cant use the phone.
Please help

The above post is correct. Odin will be your only option, although keep in mind that "MDM" stands for Mobile Device Management, it's what large companies and schools use to manage devices remotely to install updates and such, kind of like Microsoft Active Directory . Did your Craigslist source seem a bit shady? Because if that phone is linked to a MDM account and it was stolen and currently turned on, it's very likely that someone is going to track it down using it's data connection and gps.
Can someone please help. I'm getting desperate now. I flashed a Nougat build a little while ago but had some issues with Bluetooth and NFC so I flashed back to the original firmware using the dload folder and 3 button method. The installation seemed to go through fine but get's stuck booting at the vodafone logo. It then takes me into eRecovery where it attempts to download latest version over wifi but fails. I don't really know where to go from here because I can't access the internal sd card because the phone won't boot. I can access fastboot but don't really know what to do from there.

Stevemacer10 Hello, I hope to be keen to help, because it happened to me the same thing, with two days of stomach ache for it. In wanting to load Android on my Nougat Huawei P9 Plus VIE-C02, with VIE-L09C605B354 and VIE-L29C185B320 I went into semi-brick or brick, or was only in bootloader, the screen with the green man to speak. No avail various ways, including via microSD-Fastboot or ADB to do restart your phone. Then, to my previous experience with a Huawei tablet, I logged on to the 'https://www.dc-unlocker.com/' site, and essend already registered, I bought 15 credits (15 Euros), for the 'option' DC Phoenix Firmware write ', valid for 72 hours, in addition to the program and downloaded the' DC program Phonix v29 '(https://www.dc-unlocker.com/DC-Phoenix-flash-repair-tutorial) following the related tutorial. Obviously procured the original firmware 'VIE-L09C02B133' or even lower versions, you'll have to unpack in a folder of your preference. Unfortunately, despite having used with DC Phoenix the original firmware was always also blocked me. At that point I wanted groped with a firmware that you can find on the same site of the DC-Unlocker (https://files.dc-unlocker.com/user.html?v=files/57694006a60d7) by downloading the firmware 'VIE_AL10B_M00A063_Factory_firmware_China_Nonspecific_Android_6.0_EMUI_4.1 .dgtks', which I loaded with DC-Phoenix on the phone. Rebooting of a minimal mode of andorid, I did not see well either. I went back into bootloader, as well as devone be made the previous steps that I have already described to you, and this time with DC-Phoenix I loaded on the phone firmware L09C02B128 and everything went well. Attention and keep in mind that just as I happened to me, the serial number of your phone is changed, to me has happened in '0123456789ABCDEF' and there was no way to change it, so as, while having the unlocked bootloader can not longer charge the TWRP recovery in order to then have root permissions. Until reading the paragraph '(Optional) Phone numbers REPAIR', I went to that point on the site 'http://hcu-client.com/'. Also here are sadly bought 8 credits (8,00 Euro) in order to work with the program 'HCU-Client v1.0.0.0115', you need to download and unpack, then follow the various instructions, which are not difficult when you have to be walked through the modding, otherwise you do even more damage. Let me know what you did and how it went to the method. I hope also good for you. In summary we want Euro 15 for Phoenix whose duration of operations applies to 72 hours and 8 Euro per HCU-Client, it can only use this for 24 hours.
P.S .: Obviously if you follow my instructions and all these signs you do so at your own risk, esonerandomi from every possible and accidental deterioration of the situation and the damage to your phone. Sorry for my English, whose translation has made Google translator.

I wanted to say that the change of the serial number does not work well. The serial number has been changed from what I've shown you above, but was not put one I added that I had from the sales box. I write support and maybe let you know what they tell me. See you soon.
Hi Grlshia,
Thanks for getting back to me. It's such a minefield playing with all these different regional variants. I have though, managed to get it completely fixed. I just gave in and took it into the local Vodafone store and fortunately there happened to be one of the tech experts in there that owned a P9. He took it off me and within about 5 minutes he had completely restored it. He told me he just did a factory reset by holding down vol+ and power. I'm sure I had tried this myself to no avail previously but that's what he said he did.

Stevemacer10 hello, I'm glad you've solved the problem. Unfortunately I'm still fighting because, for now I can only and even to load its firmware, but if you want to try to load the TWRP recovery for later obtain root permissions, it always fails. From what seems to understand me and certainly due to the fact that the bootloader unlock code now is different from what I have, because as I told you the serial number has changed and if I request a new unlock code, it stops notiziandomi the procedure that there is inconsistency between this number and the IMEI. For now I do not know what to do and how to proceed. I hope that over time can still solve my problem. A good evening to you :good:
i'v been throw it
after updating my p9 plus with a firmware that is not sutable to my area
my phone restarted and ask for an account wich ok but the problem was that the software not working properly and missing a keyboard.
and will not go to recovery mode to try another software.
this sloved by downloading a sutable correct software and unzip it into an SD card folder (i create) called dload, then swich off the device and turn it back on while holding three bottons (power+v up+v down) 10 to 15 sec. and the phone directly read from the SD card and start updating a new firmwarw.
try it.
it success with me , hope it work wth u
Hey,
So i used the SRK tool to try and root my VIE-L09C40 (P9 Plus)
Something seemed to happended during the rooting procedure and when i entered e-recovery it said it had to Download a new version, but couldnt connect to internet via wifi.
Any ways it seemed to work after a while but now i have no keyboard at all, so i cant literally start my phone.
it starts, boots the EMUI 5.0 logo and goes through the information a terms, i click the ok button and thats fine.
Next it tells me to sign in to my wifi, i select my wifi and when i go to type the password all i have is google voice as a keyboard, ive searched and searched but cannot find a way around it, also the frp has tripped on phone so i cannot log in to my google account without a keyboard.
How can i get around this?
do i have to flash parts of firmware?
any help would be great, i sent it away to hauwei and they say warranty void due to software!, can only assume something wrong was flashed?
Waiting for phone to be returned now, please help
I had the exact same issue last night as well. No keyboard and only an option to enter details with voice.
Ended up with an essentially bricked phone. Couldn't find any info on the problem online, so I have to improvise.
I'm starting from scratch after formatting etc. using stock oeminfo, recovery and rolling back to Marshmallow. (fingers crossed ADB will let me, because it was giving me errors before)
Will let you know if I'm successful and the steps I took.

Good luck, i did read that it might be possible to install the base firmware back to it and then update again.
Im sure we are not the only people this has happened to and if you succesfully do this, maybe consider making a full step by step guide so to help others.
Fingers crossed

Will do my best.. So far it's been a major. I've managed to flash a working stock ROM and boot up. But there are a few things to smooth out. Such as, I have no IMEI number now and the build is C900, also the bootloader is modified.
To get it to boot I had to use DC- Phoenix to flash a factory firmware(Chinese) which I had to pay for. Then I flashed a stock vie-l09c432b181 ROM over the top.
To repair the IMEI I'll have to use HCU, which I'll have to pay for as well. But that's ok. If I can get my original IMEI back, I can use the original unlock code I got earlier this year, otherwise I'll have to get a new one based on a new IMEI.
I can repair the bootloader and region code using twrp etc. so that's not a problem.
I'm actually using the phone to write his reply, so I can at least use it.
Once I have it all 100% working I'll try to put together a full step by step.
Cheers.
Well, I have a working phone. But, it'snot stable. Having trouble with mobile connection, sms, mms, 4g etc not staying connected. So wont be doing any write-ups just yet.
Not until it's stable.
I'm wanting to return it to complete stock now. And that requires trying to find an oeminfo file for C706 (New Zealand).
Will add more as I get there. Sorry.
I had the same problems. All I did is updated the phone with the firmware you want via Twrp . Be warned that it will replace the recovery back to stock. Also clear the cache and etc.
I had a similar issue with SRK tool, bootlooping, won't flash new firmwares, lost all the stock apps and diagnostic tools.
I'm now stuck on a TEST-KEYS build with no NFC or Bluetooth.
My solution was to throw the piece of junk in a drawer, forget about it and I went and bought a Pixel XL instead - a phone that is properly supported and gets updates quickly.
After much messing and a headache I finally got to c432b370
And everything back to normal

How did you succeed?
I am stuck on TEST-KEYS but I am not able to flash other roms on it. When I go to recovery, the update process stops after a while

I recently had to replace the motherboard on my Nexus 6. I could only find refurbished ones, and bought one on AliExpress, with item description clearly specifying as unlock. I installed it, and it appears it is actually locked status 2. Looks like demo version used in T-Mobile retail network. Some settings inaccessible u such as developer mode or Apps. Trying to get refund but both AliExpress and the vendor are in denial mode.
I have 7.0, NBD92G installed. Very hard to unlock as I cannot access developer mode to allow usb debug. Pressing build nr several times won't help. I get message "you're already a developer" but actually usb debug does not work.
Anybody can help?
Go download factory image from Google and flash it manually by using the command prompt.
@ShernDog: He can't as his bootloader is locked. He can however download an OTA and sideload it.

Thanks. You are right, bootloader is locked too. Would there be any instructions somewhere on your proposed solution (sorry I am rather inexperienced user).

I think I figured out how to do this but the other question is whether I won't be stuck afterwards being requested to enter the only registered user's login which I do not have (I cannot register a second user, as this setting screen is locked too). Do I need to sideload the OTA corresponding to current version / build or can I sideload an older one?
Download the oldest OTA available, as long as it is a full system OTA (easily detectable by size). You're going to have to bypass Factory Reset Protection to be able to resolve this, and the older the OTA, the better.
If this doesn't work, you're going to have to fight with the place you got the motherboard from, and file a chargeback with your credit card company if need be.
Ultimately I can go for the refund, but there is no place where I can find 64 GB MBs outside China, which means I'll have to wait again for something like 3 weeks with poor backup device, and with no certainty I don't receive again a locked MB.
I tried with 6.0 OTAs (page with instructions I followed: https://developers.google.com/android/ota#shamu) and even with just older versions of 7.0, I got every time abortion after about 45% installation, with the msg that I cannot update with older versions.
I am a bit confused now, I just tried to install same build as what I had installed (https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/shamu-ota-nbd92g-2b65257b.zip), it worked but it looks like absolutely nothing has changed on my phone. I thought it would have erased pretty much everything. Am I missing something?
OTA updates don't wipe system. That's why nothing changed.
Ultimately, I think you're going to have to go for the refund and take the risk that the next motherboard you get is going to be locked. Unless the version of Android you're on can have its FRP bypassed - and I don't think it can - you're stuck.
Thanks, bad news. Would it be worth trying wipe data / factory reset accessible from the recovery mode + power/volume up menu ?
You can try it, but it won't help. Doing a factory reset will cause Factory Reset Protection to kick in, meaning you'd need to know the original owner's account information.
Surprisingly it worked. I could log in with the google account I used before the reset. Everything works, but indeed I was expecting some more difficulties
@FYBRU: This is one of those times where I'm pleased to be wrong. LOL.
Glad you got it resolved.
So as some of you know I have been chasing an audio problem with my Note 9 for a few weeks now.
Somebody I trust as a good guide + my own research indicated problems with a hidden partition after the update. To android 10. (This is what caused some google pixel phones to fail after the update). Also when I adb Shell into my phone I see one hidden partition has zero space free on it. Maybe this is causing the problem.
So my doing a re-set is kind of pointless. As it only formats the data partition.
I was told to take the phone to a service center and get them to re-flash the s/w from scratch.
This will format all partitions hidden or other wise.
I did this went to Samsung service explained the problem and asked them to re-flash. They took the phone in and 15 min latter returned saying sorry its still not working.
Then they kept it for a week saying they would look into it. After a week they said sorry its out of warranty. If you want your problem fixed replace the main board.
So I took my phone back.
When I reached home I found that the phone connected to my wifi. Without asking for a password.
This basically means they did not re-flash anything.
I have some exp with rooting the last phone I rooted was my Note 4.0. When the note 4 developed a problem they refused to fix it saying warranty is void as you rooted it. When I had issues with my other Note they said you did not buy this phone in India so no support. So this time I purchased the phone in India. I did not root it.
Also I use Samsung Pass so do not want to root it.
How can I do a factory / service center re-flash at home.
My limited memory tells me Odin should work.
But I am not sure what options to pick and what not to. And what to backup (From my old phones I think I need to backup the EFS). My personal data is not an issue as I have re-set data over 10 times.
Help I need. Want to keep Samsung pass working at any cost.
1. Which firmware to load and where to get it from.
2. Which Odin to use (I see patched Odin being recommended in some places).
3. What options to pick in odin to make sure all partitions hidden / system / all get formated.
4. Should I use SD card or USB cable.
If this fails my next option is to do a chip level repair job of the board. I have ordered the Max98512 IC from China.
Will take pics and detail the repairs to help others.
Attached is what I have on the phone right now. Security patch is 1 July 2020.

Here are the answers to your questions:
1. Use frija tool. It will download the latest firmware for your model automatically.
2. Odin 3.13 should do.
3. Check Nand Erase and Re-Partition. You can extract the pit file from the CSC file of the downloaded firmware. Put that pit file in the Pit tab of Odin.
4. USB Cable.
Hope this helps.

No idea what that is. I will try and google it.
Ok found this.
https://combinationfirmware.com/combination-samsung-galaxy-note-9/
Will it void my Knox.
Ok no combination file for N960FXXS6ETF7 I have left a request.
I also cant find a youtube video which shows you what tools are included or how they are used.
Audio works via blue tooth. But not for phone calls.
All speakers and mics dead.
Sound recorder hangs when I try to use it.
Another question I am looking for is which IC do I need to replace Max98512 or 9896b
Extracting the PIT file sounds complicated. Maybe I will just try erase first.
Fingers crossed that I don't brick the phone. Or make the problem worse.
Ok I could not find the pit file. Can I erase nand without using pit file ?.
Or can you tell me path to pit file.
Also, there are two files for CCS
CSC_OMC_OXM_N960FOXM6ETG3_CL18803598_QB32888639_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
And
HOME_CSC_OMC_OXM_N960FOXM6ETG3_CL18803598_QB32888639_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
Which one do I use.
(answer to this found here
https://technastic.com/csc-home-csc...e is to,phone while keeping everything intact.
And what file do I use for user data in Odin.
I need to remove my google account before I do anything. But I cant seem to remove my Samsung account. Hope that does not cause a problem.
Mods you can delete this post.
I did a complete erase and fresh install and it did not help my problem.
Have escalated the problem with Samsung and if they still do nothing my chips / spares will land up from China is few weeks.

I can see you have already completed the erase and fresh installation but for future reference, if you ever need to extract PIT file, you can just open your CSC file with 7zip or Winrar and there you can see .PIT file, you can drag and drop it out of the zipped file.
