Hey so, when I launch nethunter then start chroot the HID interface doesn't get detected, it just says HID Interface not found
When I try to open Duckhunter HID and launch the attack it says Something went wrong with the permission of /dev/hidg*
I've gone to the terminal and written cd dev/hidg*
Then it said that hidg* wasn't found
how do I fix this?

Thank You so much for posting how you fixed your USB issue even though no one replied. I was having the same problem and spent probably 3 hours over the last week Googling it.
This worked for me also! Thank you again. I'm on a Note 10 N970U if anyone is wondering.

I think the trick is to disable adb in the USB Arsenal section and make sure you tap the "Set USB Function" towards the bottom to save it. I would assume if it works for Note 10 Snapdragon it would on Note 9 on Lineage. I'm on modified stock. It's very lightly modified to as far as I can tell.

I don't know much about kernels but I'm pretty sure it's stock. Is that impossible if I have root? Lol. I've had 3 rooted phones in my life. All have been Samsung. S7, S8, and Note 10. The Note 10 is my first unlocked bootloader. I have not had the option to change kernels as far as I know so I never really looked into kernels.
The code you posted works great by the way, thanks again. I saved it because after a reboot HID Status goes back to default.

Snapdragon, I've always had snapdragon with the added bonus of an unlockable bootloader, lol. Until my Note 10 but there are not many of us. I'm guessing because it costs $60 to $100 to have it unlocked. So there is not much demand for Galaxy Note 10 kernels and roms.

I think the $100 I paid to have it unlocked was worth it really. I regret nothing, lol.

Does it function the same way as the core prime?
if so, you're a godsend!
I've always wanted the grand prime (after i saw my sister taunting me while she took selfies and video with the device.)
I was able to root hers (Since it was the CricKet model) but i always wanted to get the grand (T-mobile version) and root it.

Hey, love the kernel and have tweaked it using SetCPU. I was curious however is there is any way to enable support for Faux Sound by patching the Open Source Sound Control Code? This would enable us to get more volume out of this beast!

I know that, i'm running as my main system though, for me to install windows i'd have to format my HDD which i only have 1 inside the laptop, either i get usb-sata adaptor that's better than what i have right now or my only option is to format to install linux + windows, however.. on a tight budget and specs 500GB might not be enough for me.

Simply speaking ,it is a bootloader replacement(or a modified bootloader) by which u can install multiple ROMs and recoveries at same time.U can run a miui ROM,aosp rom,Ubuntu Linux and u don't need any patched kernel or a multirom recovery or multirom supported rom .And no need of confirmation if a ROM can be booted as secondary or primary ROM as there is no terms like that.
@deeps7515 @preetnoobie
Bootloader is the first thing that get loaded in the memory after the device starts. Once the bootloader gets loaded in the memory, it handles OS initialization, and the OS initiates only after that point.
The goal of this project is to generify the process of bootloading, so that any ROM or any kernel can be loaded into memory without any kind of modification at all, through some universal architechture. The technical details are vast enough and quite frankly, even I don't understand many of that.
TL;DR
It will make multibooting buttery smooth in our devices.
if i am not wrong .. now we can also install complete armhf based linux distros??

Well sadly, sailfish still requires some work to be done because of the hardcoded system.mount, and I directly jump into it after I publish the first beta. Right now, I'm experiencing some weird bug that apparantly noone has faced before, and that's why the build is taking longer than expected.
Stay tuned.

As you know, till now there are NO Custom ROM's available. This is really sad, and I can't live with MIUI. So I decided to give GSI (Generic System Image) ROM's a try.
And guess what? They work! I tried installing Lineage OS 15.1 on our cereus. The rom is really fast and smooth. Here's what I found:
Working:
Wifi
Bt
Camera
Vibration
Sound
Finger Print
Bugs:
SIM detected, but no range found. RIP calls/sms/data. Looks like a problem with the raido's.
Headphones don't work
I couldn't test hotspot and gps.
Even though there is a bad bug, it still works surprisingly on this MediaTek SoC with no drivers / kernels. All we need is a little paching and we should be good to go!
Give it a try. Ill post guide on how to do this later. For now, i'm using miui cuz i wanna make phone calls

Yes, we know. We tested this long time ago, there are pretty long discussions in twrp thread comments
What about finger print reader?

I know, and I've read through all that. They are all buried inside TWRP threads, and not everyone knows about GSI. I made this so people know, and I'm also going to make an other thread with instructions on how to flash a GSI rom for our Redmi 6 soon (It's a little tricky getting TWRp to work and all...)

It works! Sorry, I forgot to mention that - added it now :good: Btw, even though it works, it isn't as accurate and as fast as MIUI.

I meant to say good job about putting this all together. Nice.
I just randomly remembered when i was trying this ROM some time ago. Headphones doesn't work.
(Adding this to post would be ideal)
Edit: It could also be the Pixel Experience ROM. But i don't remember.

Thanks! I tried LOS again, and I can confirm that headphones don't work. Added that to the post:good: Btw, do you know any GSI ROMs for Cereus that can actually make calls and work well?

All i tried was LOS and Pixel Eperience. Both are same, except PE has Android 9.0. I tried treble RR, it had really cool logo while booting, and i was really excited for RR because i never tried it. But i never made it to boot. Boot logo is looping infinitely and i tried fresh installing (With MiFlash clear) about 10 times.
Edit: Maybe if you would want to, you can give it a try https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...0-resurrection-remix-v7-0-arm64-32-b-t3891636
Edit: I didn't understand most of it, but i could start adb logcat while booting. From all i could understand, all apps were dying and restarting all over.

Omni rom, android 9, works pretty good, no major bugs.
Installation instructions on screenshot in attachments.

Yep, only USSD is broken by default. See 11) on screenshot.
Calls/sms works out of box.
Don't know about volte since my carrier doesn't support it.

Seems that mtk ussd fix breaks something on other phones. So, this is flag to enable it.
------
Ahh, you mean how to append?
Open /system/build.prop file with text editor that has root access, add line to end, save file, reboot.
Or you can do this via adb/terminal emulator:
1) su
2) echo persist.sys.radio.ussd.fix=true >> /system/build.prop

Since you said ussd is broken by default i thought that that wouldn't fix it.

Oh my bad. By the way I'm going to install this rom and I'll see if that line fixes ussd. Then we'll have a probably fully functional rom for the redmi 6. ****ing finally. It's about time.

It doesn't work for me. Same as every single other GSI rom.
Can I will back a pixel 5 from Android 11 to Android 9 so I may edit the build.prop file. I have tried the suggestions on the site using various apps but none seemed to work

Lol no. No you can't. Why would you buy a pixel 5 just to roll it back to an outdated OS?? Makes zero sense

Not 11 only lol. Developers preview of Android 12 as well, which I am on right now.

You should be able to edit the build.prop on 11 too. I haven't done it yet, and I'm just getting ready to go to work so I can't test, but this is the first I've ever heard of not being able to and I think you are mistaken. With root you should be able to edit it.

Why not simply use MagiskHideProps? It will let you set any property you wish.

I tried using the Magiskhideaprops and it just won't take the change, unless I'm doing it wrong.

Because I really need. My hotspot open, I was a Christmas gift and I didn't realize you can't edit the build prop in Android 11

Be aware, directly editing it will make it impossible to pass safetynet checks if you use any apps that check it. My understanding is that MagiskHideProps modifies the file dynamically so that safetynet can still pass. What edit were you trying to make that didn't work? This section of the MagiskHideProps references setting custom properties.

Have you researched to see if that still works in Android 11 at all?
I have not, all the responses I've been getting keep telling me to use the Magisk-props-config but it never seems to implement the change. After I make the change and reboot I still can not enable my hot spot but when I go back into the module the change is still there, so I don't know what Im doing wrong or as your suggesting it just does not work.

You may be operating under a false premise. You believe that if the prop is correct your hotspot will work. What if the prop is correct but does not work to enable the hotspot on Android 11? By all accounts, MagiskHideProps does work. You can check by running the getprop command in a terminal window.
Would it be the last entry in the long list of information? if so I do not see it. Also when creating the custom prop it asks for a value, what should I be giving it?

From your earlier note, net.tethering.noprovisioning is the property, true is the value.
Check it by using getprop from the command line. The below section of the MagiskHideProps reference is where you should start.
