Xperia x8 and TV

Hi,
I am Polish and I am 14 so sorry for my english(I dont use translator).
Can I use my xperia x8 with this cable ( search " allegro " in google and on web site allegro search " ORYGINALNY KABEL TV NOKIA CA75U CA-75U 5230 N97 " ) ? I want to watch my scren on my tv.
On youtube (tou must search " Samsung Galaxy S (SGS) 3.5mm Jack Video Out Test " ) you see how user samsung galaxy S use this cable with his phone. And it work!
But I dont know can I buy this cable. How I can that we can watch our screen on tv I think it is good news for some users xperia x8.
Thanks
miku6r
PS: can you improve me how i do error and sorry for links. I am new user this forum and i cant write URLs
I don't think so... X8 have only AUDIO out on 3.5mm port
Hy!
I check the electrical schematics from X8, and find the audio jack. This 3.5 mm jack supports the audio out, mic, and FM funktions only.
Don't order the cable!
So can i refuse my phone with tv?

Maybe U can connect your phone to TV via USB cable, and an application... But I'm not sure...
Only way is tru VNC, you need a computer connected to the tv and it will be very slow anyway. Not worth it..

I saw a video on the youtube about VNC and its unusable. Too slow

Apologies for reviving an old thread, but recently I've been looking into this and can say for certain there is no easy way to do what the OP wanted to do.
You can, however, stream media files via WiFi from your X8 onto your TV if the TV is DLNA-compatible by utilizing an app called Pixel Media Server - DMS. I have a Panasonic model with Viera and I successfully tested image, video and music streams. Some older models might have a problem with videos, though. I tested this because the TV doesn't recognize my SD-card when I attempt to connect via USB.
Android 2.2+ is required to use the app. Enjoy!

[Q] AllShare on Galaxy Note

Hello Everyone,
How are you all?
Actually, i have a problem with Samsung Note AllShare. I have a panasonic Led Tv with DLNA Certification and connected to my wifi router via Ethernet cable. I got recently galaxy note and want to watch movies directly from note to TV.
Note:- I tried this but when i open allshare app and select any video in My Device section then i can see of my videos but when i click any of them to watch on my tv it just doesn't detect it, shows No Device. Please advise what i am missing.
If this thread is already here then please share link...!!
Thanks in advance
Check if your device and the Tv are connected to the same wifi router. Try some third party app like zappotv. Try to stream videos from your desktop or laptop.

What happen is when i open all share then i can see my note is present in my tv vieratools but i can not see my tv in my note in all share app, so it means that ican play videos on tv from my note if i use my tv remote but not directly from.my note.. Miracast support???

Guys I got a PTV3000 which allows for widi & miracast wireless display mirroring. I had an Xperia Z which mirrored perfectly but my new HTC one dont ;(. I dont want to spend money on another dongle e.g. HTC Media Link. As the device has the capability. But I have not being able to connect it. 2 questions, will All Share App apk on Samsung work on the One to force it to display? or even an apk of the Mirror link app from Sony. There must be a way to connect it via an apk or something? any help would be welcome.
Google and see if you can get the APK's, install them (Hopefully they will instal) and try it mate, thats all you can really do. . .
All Share is from samsung and will not install on HTC, at least I didn't managed to install it on nexus.
I don't know for mirroring but i've used skifta for streaming media files to tv.
The phone does support Miracast for sure but you just need a app to use it.
I was able to view photos on my LG TV via the Sense gallery but videos would not work, kept saying cannot play back media.
A mirroing app like the Xerpia Z would be cool.
giotecno if you try and install it to your One and it works please share it.
[I sold the Xperia z and didn't extract the apk's so I am stuck. not sure where I am gonna find a program that will enable the miracast to mirror via wireless. what I don't understand is Miracast is going to be a whole standard why limit the phone so it just connects via your own proprietary media link dongle. Mind you with JB 4.2.2 update we might just get the wireless display option to use miracast.

So you can play games on the TV too?
How did you switch on the mirror mode?
After loading the latest firmware on my netgear PTV3000. I rebooted the phone and one it came on went to media out in settings and the device appeared in the list and then just selected it and the mirroring started in a few seconds. works great with videos games etc. there is avery tiny lag but its more than acceptable.

Nekromantik try this, make sure your TV is ready for MIracast and is looking for the device. Turn off wifi on phone and then fully power off your HTC Onc and switch back on and then go to Media Output this will enable your Wifi on the phone and hopefully will see the device.

I have a Samsung UN55F7100 and I use the screen mirroring function on it to project my note 3 onto the TV. Without a good wireless connection, any wireless solution will not be helpful. I suggest you use an adapter to plug in an HDMI cable. I'm not sure if note 3 uses MHL or slimport although I think it's MHL as my S3 used MHL.

[Q] DLNA question

Hey guys, i know there are apps for windows phone capable of wirelessly streaming a video to PC/TV trough DLNA. But, Is there any that can also push subtitles alongside?
I usually download movies to my phone, but i like to watch them on my "many inch" TV and although i know english well (i think), my little brother doesn't.
Thanks.
