Question Help me to fix this. What problem it might be? - Redmi Note 10 Pro

Device: Note 10 Pro
Details: While my phones Battery percentage was 71, i thought let me charged it for 10 minutes. and i plugged in charger and phone vibrated that means port was connected. But after 10 minutes phone was still 71 percent. So i thought it might be software problem. So i rebooted the phone but phone still not opening.
#plz tell what problem it might be?

Boot loader unlocked?
Rooted?
Magisk modules installed?
Custom recovery installed (OFOX, TWRP)?
MIUI?
Custom ROM?
USB debugging enabled in developer settings?
Does the phone boot to recovery or fastboot?
Hold you power button for more than 10 secs - any change?
Put your phone to charger - is it charging?
You need to post more info about your system/software, from that little info you posted it could be anything - from SW to HW fault...

I still don't actually know what you mean, but if your country have official Xiaomi repair center, then you check Xiaomi/Redmi warranty policy yourself.
You can also check the IMEI / serial number.
Product Authentication
Verify your phone purchase
www.mi.com
If it's an legit phone and belong to your country/region, they can repair it. Whether to cost or not depends on the actual condition.
If they ask for a receipt or a proof where you buy it but you cannot provide, they might refuse to fix it.
The phone may probably entered EDL mode. Try press and hold the power button for a while, maybe like 1 minutes.

Bricked after/during bootloader unlock

So, i've tried to unlock bootloader using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225
The first part (up to step 5c) ha gone really smoothly, without any complications.
However when i tried to connect phone to Flashtool all i got was "Device connected with USB debugging off". So then i decided to do the dumbest thing (now i know that) i could do: reboot my phone. Now it's not powering on, so I'm assuming it's bricked.
So my questions:
1. Is it bricked beyond all repair, and i cannot do anything about it, or perhaps there is still some hope left for me?
2. If it's bricked, will service be able to help me? And if yes then how much approximetly would they charge me for that (I'm assuming that my warranty is void because of my attempts)?

1. A cellphone technician with a JTAG/RIFF BOX tool can fix your phone, or the alternative is by replacing the motherboard of your device, you cannot fix at home, that is for sure not unless you have this devices and know how to use it.
2. As for the warranty, just play dumb and say that you dont know what happen to your device. Your warranty is safe as long as they didnt find out that you have mess up the bootlader, IDK much about this, but for me this work.
It happens that, x8 that has been manufactured in 11w26 to 11w37 is problematic and 11w38 beyond is surely bricked if tried to unlock the bootlader. The issue is, they have fixed the security loophole in the bootloader in the later releases. I have 11w44 x8 black that has been hard bricked a few days ago, and I just play dumb in the service center, and they didnt asked anything, it has been covered in the warranty, so free service.

There is nothing wrong with the procedures that has been provided by the guide, its just that there is something wrong with your phone, most probably youre x8's mfc is 11w38 or up, "remove your battery, then look for the e.g. 11w38 something like that in the back of your phone, 11 is year 38 is week that it has been manufactured."

[SOLVED] Mi 9 bricked after latest MIUI 11. Help me please.

EDIT: Solved, check latest post. (#28)
My Mi 9 bricked after i flashed the MIUI 11 beta (9.9.24), then with MiFlash, flashed back to Global (i have unlocked the bootloader)
Now the phone is in this state:
- Screen black, no signal to anything, no LED turns on
- Cannot boot to System, Fastboot, Recovery, or EDL
- Does not react to any button combination (Tried with/without charger, power button holding for 1 min, etc.) Guess i'm f-ed
Can someone help me please? :/
I'm not an expert but if you phone don't event turn on, how you expect someone to help you? The only one who can help you it's a service or a repair lab. I don't think that the problem is in software.

You need to open back cover, find EDL testpoint pins and flash full ROM through MiFlash.
If you dont have authorized Mi account for EDL flash, find someone who have it.

Can you dubbelcheck the rom you tried to flash? Make sure its really for MI9? This kind of trouble most of the time happens when flashing a rom for another phone. Like MI9T or something.

Yes it was cepheus_global_images_V10.2.13.0.PFAMIXM_20190709.0000.00_9.0_global. I followed every instruction for flashing with MiFlash tool....
I had a similar problem when I received the phone, I couldn't start it right out of the box, it's certainly not the same problem but I waited a few hours and then I had the idea to boot it in fastboot and when I restarted it, it worked

Hard Bricked Mi9 Global

So have I done something that apparently no one else has on XDA.
Hard bricked my Mi9?
I have heard that you cannot go back from Miui 11 to Miui 10 on China based models or try an install a rom with a locked bootloader.
None of those things are the case here as this is a global Mi9 purchased within New Zealand.
None of the usual tricks work. No battery light black screen no input response from buttons.
Appears like a total hard brick an I have no idea why. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with hard bricked Mi9s that have bricked for no reason after I did standard things an the bootloader was unlocked?
what about edl ? do you already try it?

Connect the charger, hold all the buttons (except the AI one), until you feel the phone vibrate or at least see the battery charging LED blink.
Don't let go after 5-10 seconds, but keep holding for 30+ seconds. See if anything happens.
a while ago i bricked my mi9se (because of lazyiness while flashing wrong android rom version with a wrong twrp without changing twrp version before).
so fastboot or recovery not worked. EDL mode was only enterable with contact/test point method -> opening back, connect the two points, connect usb cable. (you have to look on youtube for the right contact points for mi9).
so i entered EDL mode, but:
you have to have a authorized xiaomi account to flash something, and a special xiaomi tool to do that. no chance to skip that. believe me.
on older xiaomi devices you maybe can flash something on your own in edl mode. not so on newer devices like the mi9se, and presumably also on mi9.
you have to have your phones back removed, and look for somebody on the internet with a authorized xiaomi account. there are some ppl out there, which maybe can unbrick your phone in EDL mode via teamviewer for a charge around 15 to 25 bucks.

When you connect the phone to the PC , go to control panel and then under device manager, Com ports you should see Port 9008. if so you are in EDL mode. As long as your phone is bound to you ( you have the needed credentials to sign into MiCloud, you should be able to restore your phone.)
I do not have the mi9 Yet. I have a Mi8 and I am considering a Mi9
Try flashing the global fastboot rom for your device.
IMPORTANT >>>>>>> It must be a fastboot images rom and not a regular recovery rom<<<<<<
Use google for the absolute latest build, I spent 30 seconds just now and found this page which as it linked : https://xiaomifirmware.com/roms/download-official-miui-roms-for-xiaomi-mi-9/ You want/NEED the one called " 11.0.3.0 QFAMIXM | Fastboot | Download"
Unpack Rom twice on your desktop, ( Its double compressed, must be unpacked twice.)
Open folder and you will see a folder that is called Images and a series of batch files.
With phone connected and in EDL or fastboot , double click "flashall.bat" Do not choose the file that asks to lock the bootloader , if it exists) This batch file will restore every single partition from the folder called images.
When it is finished the phone will reboot, sign into your wifi, and then Mi Cloud account and begin setup.
Be sure to make a Twrp backup and save it to your desktop.
You are welcome, enjoy your phone.
PS: if this fails you may need to buy a deep flash cable from Amazon, they cost $6 to $20
https://www.amazon.com/Flash-Cable-xiaomi-Models-Engineering/dp/B06ZYG46VZ Another option is using a program called QPST
If this helped you, you are welcome to buy me a beer, via my paypal. If you can afford to do so.
Tried button pushing advice an no luck. Will try this but am pretty sure surgery is probably my best option.
Thanks for trying to help. 11.0.3.0 is an excellent rom an I've had success several times with soft bricks as it bricked in a bootloader loop with the little Xiaomi cartoon thingy.
I might try your suggestion with both my miflash set up an my miflashpro set up ?

Question Bricked OP 10 Pro - Help

Hello All,
I managed to brick my OP 10 Pro
It happened when I locked the bootloader before uninstalling Magisk.
I am now in a forever bootloop, see video:
Your browser is not able to display this video.
It will not boot into fastboot for love nor money.
There is no time for adb to load into fastboot as it is constantly resetting.
If I hold all three buttons when it is not connected to anything, it does nothing.
If I hold all three buttons while the phone is connected to the computer, it goes into EDL mode and Qualcomm drivers appear in the device manager, but it still fails to shows as 'adb devices' or 'fastboot devices'
I dont know what to do.

Theres no msm tool yet you have to wait for it
Is there anyone that had a look on Baido ?I tried everything under the sun.
I downloaded this from mega which has the full firmware files
https://mega.nz/folder/vMYSxBgI#LJXkyX-Ue9a4iFZPQmc80w
The closest I got was downloading the QFIL to flash it in EDL mode, but I couldnt get it to work...
I once took a bricked OP6 (hardly a month old) to service center. They fixed it, no questions asked.
I guess times are tough. GSMMAFIA steals OP software and sells it to you.

Considering there's a thred in this forum exactly for that...
The same thing happened to me on my NE2215...
Told OPO support it was the latest update that did it.. they are offering to repair it, still under warranty, for free.
from what I hear it can take 3weeks to 3 months to get it back.
Need a MSM tool
How I happened to me...
i wanted to get the latest OTA, so I removed Magisk, changes boo.img back to stock, reset the phone, and then when to turn flashing off (lock the bootloader)
on the rest step of Locking the bootloader back, is when it looped into this as well....
I know this isnt helpful right now, but NEVER re-lock your bootloader. I've seen far too many people brick their ****. Why unlock it to begin with? When you relock the bootloader, anything that's not signed will not boot. I hope you get your phone fixed. Good luck to you bud
can you please tell me your mobile after hard brick have a pc connection ? beacause my phone also bricked and totally terned off no button combination no charging no pc connection

Why did you try a super complicated route to update? There is no need to do reboot or lock your bootloader after restoring (not removing) magisk in order to do the ota update.

Eventually, I took out insurance on the phone and a week later I said its not working. Insurance support werent very technical and they replaced my phone after a week. Alernatively, I could of sent it off to OP...
i bricked my op10p same way like you... i went to store where i bought it and they sent it to repair after that i got info that they switched motherboard from it

Best solution: throw your phone in trash, also boycott OppoPlus and don't buy from BugPlus anymore
F*ck OnePlus !!
Everyone listen to the google logo user. Oppo is hostile to rom developers and releases broken source code and restricts msm. They're just the apple of android products nowadays

Question Bootloop after running "fastboot flashing lock". Couldn't boot into recovery/fastboot modes

Just got the OP 10 pro today used. While setting up google pay , it claims that device wasn't certicated. Then i found that the phone was rooted. So I downloaded magisk and uninstalled it in attempt to unrooting the phone. After running the command "fastboot flashing lock" to re-lock bootloader, the phone keeps on rebooting.
Would I be able to recover the phone? When the battery dies, will it fix itself? Pressing volume up/down + power didn't work.

Thanks everyone
Hello. There a few options you can try.
OnePlus 10 Pro Fastboot ROMs (and how to make for any device)
First of all and most importantly, I want to say that this is not my work. This is a port of the work done by @abhinavgupta371 and @HELLBOY017 for the OP9RT. I merely made sure there weren't extra or missing files and edited the .bat and .sh...

This might work for you.
Another option is to request a oneplus technician to remote session your computer and use MSM tool. Or send it back then and have them figure it out.
Thrid option is to pay an exotornist money to fix your phone remotely. And if you wanted, could take those credentials and share them here for us.
Thanks for replying.
For option#1, i can't turn off the phone neither any fastboot or recovery modes.
For option#2, i am awaiting for the seller response on device's IMEI number before oneplus would do anything on repair
For option#3, how do you find those specialists?

Hi friend.
OnePlus 10 Pro Flash File (Firmware Stock ROM) GSMMAFIA
OnePlus 10 pro newly launched device from OnePlus. Today i am going to share with you OnePlus 10 Pro Flash File
www.google.com
This is the "specialist" site. Download the tool that would match your phone, then contact the number on what's app. This "service" won't care about any of the phones info. It would be your fastest option too. No idea how much this loser charges though.
If you do decide to go down this path, it would be a godsend if you keylogged this guy for the login info. As the guy selling the service just keylogged the OnePlus tech
The same thing happened to me, I was still within the 30 day return policy and got my money back. Just went back to my OnePlus 8 Pro. I tried 9 too and thought the screen was much crappier than the 8.
So basically, the OnePlus 10 Pro not only can't be rooted and have DRM or Google Pay work, it can't e fully unrooted and bootloader locked so you can sell it.
What ever happened to the OnePlus I used to love???

That's false I'm rooted and passing safety net. Also it can be unrooted easily by magisk full uninstall, flashing the stock bootloader or a full flash.

to answer you #1, press and hold the power button for like 15-20 seconds. To enter the fastboot mode press and hold both volume buttons while powering it on will put it into fastboot mode.
