Kia Optima 2016 and sideloading - Android Auto General

I can get into engineering mode on my Kia. Would like to know if anyone here knows if things like Viper4Android or other similar apps can be sideloaded
I love the sound from V4A and would like to be able to have it applied to all sources in my car.
Sorry if this is the wrong sub

[Q] System Wide "Stereo Expander" for Android??

Hey guys I don't know if you've ever heard of or would need use of a system wide stereo expanding app, but I am looking for one that works with android 4.0+!
What I mean by "stereo expander" is an app that is able to change pitch and tempo of any audio source on the device. I used to have one, back on android 2.0-2.2 called, simply enough, "stereo expander."
however after 2.3 the developer discontinued the app saying that the audio processing had evolved and therefor it became immune to suck magics!
My question, does anyone know of or currently use a similar app? I can't seem to find one on the market, but maybe someone knows of a music player or an add on somewhere that would allow at least this effect on stored music. My real goal is system wide though, as I use internet radio almost exclusively.

Global Equalizer

I am looking for a global equalizer for my N6 running stock 6.0.1.
I want an app that would process any audio destined for output (speakers, headphones).
It seems like right now music EQ is handled on a case by case basis within the music apps themselves.
The problem is that not many of the streaming apps include this functionality.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Viper4Android
+1 for viper4android.. i dnt see anything else..
Working on 6.0.1 Systemless?
Thanks, yeah V4A looks great but I am struggling to get it working.
I am running systemless root on my N6 on 6.0.1 AOSP - anyone else get V4A to work on a platform like this?

Question - how to make app compatible with android auto

Is there a way to make an app that streams TV channels to work with android auto? I have screen2auto and aa aio tweaker installed and e.g. youtube works ok in my car's headunit. For some reason this specific app only works with audio and subtitles, but the video remains black on headunit. I'm suspecting some sort off "aa blocker" built in app, but no idea if there is some tricks to make it work. Any ideas what i should try?
Already created module with smali patcher with secure flag and installed it with Magisk and installed liboemcrypto module as well. After that i was able to mirror (not casting) the video using chromecast to my TV, but that didn't work with AA even i thought it would. So please, help me get this app work in AA
In case somebody is struggling with similar problem, i managed to solve the issue with TaiChi and DisableFlagSecure module.

Kia infotainment system.

Not sure if this has already been asked. But I'm wondering if it would be possible to mod the stock infotainment system that comes in my KIA stinger. I have seen videos of people with civics who have modded the intro screen and such. Anyone have any ideas on this? Or can point me in the right direction?

HACK Navigation/Multimedia systems KIA/HYUNDAI and install third-party applications
:D Sorry for my English! :D CAUTION: USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! YouTube, your favorite navigation app, video player, online radio, online TV etc. now works on factory multimedia. No need to connect your multimedia to internet! This method works...

Access to "engineering mode"
I just thought I'd share this from the technology forum because I just tried it on my Aussie Stinger and the access to Engineering Mode worked. I had a quick look and there's definitely some interesting settings and adjustments in here... The video below shows how to gain access - you basically...

You used to be able to get in to engineering mode on some kia/hyundai head units and install any android app but its very risky. Engineering mode has lots of toggles too, but also risky. There's not much worth doing there on a stinger IMO.
Honestly I use a rooted device with "AA AIO Tweaker" and "Extras for AA" and just rock the modded Android auto. WIdescreen, screen mirroring, and "fermata media player" do anything I need the head unit to do.

That actually sounds very interesting. What is "AA AIO Tweaker"? Do you have some links for these? Really I just want to add a custom intro scene to the Stinger when I start it up.

You'll find AA AIO Tweaker in this very forum about 2 posts up. It won't change the startup screen, this likely isn't possible.
Hey y’all. I have a 2023 Niro PHEV. The Radio FM, Vol. 2, Update screen, 6 taps left, 1 rap right works in my unit.

Anyone know the engineering password?
Is there a max number of “tries” allowed? If so, what happens?

Fake "Google Maps" and other GAPPS to fool Android Auto

Recently I started to experiment with AA, and I like the idea of being able to operate my podcast and music player on my car's entertainment screen. But, on the other hand, I deliberately I choose LOS once, because I don't want to have too many GAPPS on my phone. So, having to install all the GAPPS that are required to make AA work, doesn't really thrill me.
Would it be possible to fool AA with some fake GAPPS that do nothing more than to resolve the dependencies, so that AA will connect to the car without the need to install Google Maps, for instant? The main goal for this would be making apps like music players controllable on the car's entertainment screen.
I am neither a programmer nor a developer, so this idea might look very naive to you. But yet, it would be interesting to hear what you think of it.
