SOLVED: Odin - Complete (Write) Operation failed - Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Questions & Answers

Hi all. I already flashed previous S20 FE 5g using Odin, but I have received a new S20 FE 5g terminal and with this one, trying to flash stock firmware from Sammobile is not working with Odin with Subject error message.
SM-G781B/DS, with One UI 3.1, Android 11, with Vodafone carrier software - ATL and Feb 1, 2021 security patch.
I have enabled 'developer options' and enabled 'USB debug' and 'OEM unlock'.
Using download mode, I have unlocked bootloader too.
Weird thing is now, when entering in Download mode, I see:
OEM LOCK : ON (U)
So, not sure if OEM is correctly unlocked.
I am using Odin 3.14.4 and I have tried with each of the following official firmwares from Sammobile:
G781BXXU1ATJ5_G781BOXM1ATJ5_PHE
G781BXXU1ATK1_G781BOJM1ATK1_ILO
G781BXXU1BUA5_G781BOXM1BUA5_PHE
G781BXXU3CUG2_G781BOXM3CUG1_PHE (This is the last available one, Android 11, security patch July 2021)
I am not able to flash any of the above. Last attempt, with these Odin messages:
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
<OSM> Leave CS..
<ID:0/004> Odin engine v(ID:3.1401)..

<ID:0/004> DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET!!
<ID:0/004> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
I set AP, BL, CP and CSC (for this, using CSC_OMC and not HOME_CSC_OMC to have complete flash).
I spent whole day yesterday and I am struggled..... any idea?
Thanks!!!
¿Alguien tiene idea de qué puede estar pasando o qué puedo estar haciendo mal?

If your bootloader has been updated you can't flash backwards unless the firmware you are trying to flash has same bootloader. What is the build number you are currently on??

I was trying to flash a firmware with lower bootloader version than the installed.

Once the OS is upgraded to Android 11,... Then not possible to down grade the OS.

[Q] Galaxy S5 G900A Stuck In Downloading/Firmware Upgrade Mode

I have searched for about the past 3-4 hours which is a lot longer than it usually takes for me to get to the bottom of these dang things. My phone (Galaxy S5 G900A Lollipop 5.0) has been really screwy on the WiFi lately (home, out in public, family members homes) so I decided (after a factory reset, safe mode, etc failing) to go ahead and try to downgrade my phone. So I went online and found out you can do it with Odin (3.09, 3.10, 3.06) and attempted it. I downloaded a stock 4.4.4 firmware and went to work. Immediately it failed with the error I am still getting which is the following:

Example of the firmware update screen: Unable to post outside link, just google "firmware update encountered an issue galaxt s5" it's the first image.
Example of the download screen I use with Odin (as instructed): Unable to post outside link, just google "download mode glaaxy s5" it's the first image.
I have attempted using both the old and new version of Kies to perform the emergency and normal firmware update procedures. My phone does not show in the emergency firmware recovery screen and the firmware update mode ends in an error telling me to use the emergency firmware update, which as mentioned does not work.
With Odin I have attempted: Multiple computers, multiple USB ports on each computer, reinstalling Samsung drivers, restarting computer, multiple Odin versions, multiple firmware files (4.4.4, 4.4.2), running as administrator
Windows 8.1
Update on errors: My screen shows the following error on my phone in RED under "UDC Start" when Odin Fails:
SYS REV CHECK FAIL : Refer 2 > Binary 1
SECURE CHECK FAIL : system
You can't downgrade from 5.0. Flash 5.0 and you will be fine. If I'm not mistaken, the new bootloader is not backwards compatible and therefore won't let a downgrade happen.
Took to Best Buy, flashed and resolved in less than 10 minutes at Samsung center.

You won't be able to downgrade and that was your problem in the beginning

Unable to flash rom after failed update on Kies

Hey guys I am was going from rooted 4.4 to 5.1.1 and running the dynamic kat rom...I downgraded to stock 4.4 and attempted to update through Kies...well the update hung at 87% for a long time and eventually failed, I got the "system encounted a firmware issue " error and was unable to restart...Kies will not recognize my note no matter how many times I flash the drivers and Odin always fails no matter the version I try to flash...Even SmartSwitch says "device failed to recognize", and I cannot flash twrp either (I even tried flashing PIT files which failed as well) (I still get a "comm4" connection in odin)

Have you tried a full internal wipe from recovery?
maybe retry 4.4.4 through ODIN and then moving forward?
up to date on modem/bootloader?
also, sometimes flashing in ODIN just fails for no apparent reason. when it does, you must unplug the phone, reboot the phone and enter bootloader mode again every time.

CF-Root for SM-G903M 6.0.1, also working on SM-G903F 6.0.1

Works fine for me on 6.0.1.
Thanks anyways!
It seems it's not working as it should. Some apps are reporting no root (ES File Explorer, MyProfiles...) but RootChecker and Titanium have verified root... weird... will try version for G903F on 6.0.1 as APKCCP says it's working fine...

That's because the su binaries are not in xbin, which is required by apps like ESFE.

Gentlemen, I tried flashing cf-auto-root (this one, and also the most recent version acquired directly from cf-root website, as my firmware is at UBU1BPK1), but after ODIN Pass! it reboots and just show the message "Recovery is not seandroid enforced".
After that, it reboots again to normal firmware, not rooted.
I even tried un-checking the "auto reboot" option in ODIN, and doing a manual reboot to recovery mode (as it was supposed to force the cf-root to install).
But it just repeats the same behaviour. I kept holding vol_up+button+power and it kept rebooting trying to enter recovery but just showing the message "recovery is not seandroid enforced".
At the time I released the buttons, it rebooted to normal firmware, not rooted.
Tried different Odin versions (3.10.6, 3.12...), nothing did the trick.
Any tips?
I've also enabled "USB debug" and "unlocked OEM" under developer settings.
Couldn't find "reactivation lock" option under account settings / security settings.

Just to add that I finally got it working.
Flashed a different country variant (BVO - Bolivia), that has BQA1 firmware and also have the same Modem/CP Version as my ZTO (Brazil) in BPF1. I was afraid of choosing a different variant from Brazil with different modem version, and being not able to use my local area signal provider.
It worked like a charm. I wiped data/factory reset. Then I flashed the BQA1 firmware using ODIN 3.12.3 (last version). Logged in google account (didn't logged on samsung account, neither choosed a lock screen).
Then, flashed cf-auto-root from autoroot.chainfire.eu for g903m BQA1 and it worked like a charm!

[STOCK][Odin] OFFICIAL T713 STOCK FIRMWARE T713XAR1APD9

Here is the official stock firmware for the New (2016) Galaxy Tab S2 8.0" T713.
Use this to restore your tablet or fix a soft brick.
This requires Odin to flash.
Model Name: Galaxy Tab S2 8.0
Model: SM-T713
Country: Cellular South (XAR)
Firmware Version: T713XXU1APD9
OS: Android Marshmallow
OS Version: 6.0.1
PDA: T713XXU1APD9
CSC: T713XAR1APD9
Download T713XAR1APD9 Here
Hello everybody!
Sorry if this si not fine for me to post in this thread, but I think my question is quite related, in case I apologize in advance.
I recently bought a Galaxy tab S2 8" (SM-T719).
I installed the TWRP and applied SuperSU (as per guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/development/twrp-3-0-2-1-galaxy-tab-s22016-sm-t713-t3390627)
All fine...
Only later I recall that I stupidly forgot to make a complete STOCK backup. If I need, can I use the STOCK provided in this thread even if it is for T713?
The only difference I see comparing the specs is the additional 2G support.
Thank you in advance and thanks to everybody for the great work!
PS: if it can be usefull to anybody I can make a BACKUP of the current state of the tablet.
Best regards!!

There's a newer version for this firmware T713XXU1APG1 (build 01.07.2016, the one in the first post is build 20.04.2016). I'm not sure what the difference is. Has anybody already downloaded the new version and saved it somewhere on the Internet? A free download from https://samsung-firmware.org/model/SM-T713/region/XAR/ takes almost 7 hours.

Image restore via Odin fails with blue caution triangle screen
I had my S2 SM-T713 8.0 Rooted and tried to install Lightning. The WiFi failed, so I flashed the WiFi fix. Still no WiFi. Restored the rooted TWRP backup. It booted up to the lock screen, but refused to allow me to use the only pin that had ever been entered on the machine.
After numerous attempts to get around the pin issue, I attempted to flash this stock firmware via Odin. Every attempt failed at a different point. MD5 double checked and matched. The latest attempt ran as follows:

Success after loading the new updated Samsung firmware from link in post by dxxvi.
"I had my S2 SM-T713 8.0 Rooted and tried to install Lightning. The WiFi failed, so I flashed the WiFi fix. Still no WiFi. Restored the rooted TWRP backup. It booted up to the lock screen, but refused to allow me to use the only pin that had ever been entered on the machine."
Finally had success after loading the new updated Samsung firmware from link in post by dxxvi (took almost 20 hours slow load). Confirmed that it does require a factory reboot after hanging at Samsung logo.
The new firmware allows you to choose whether to require a pin after reboot or just accept fingerprint input.
There is a newer version of of the firmware T713XXU2APJ1, release date 05.10.2016

AT&T NOTE 5 flash to T-Mobile Version - Secure Check FAIL: (BOOTLOADER)

Hello! I am new to XDA.
I moved carriers from AT&T to T-Mobile. I am attempting to install T-Mobile's ROM on an AT&T Galaxy Note 5 SM-N920A in order to address some issues that I have had with Wi-Fi Calling, and phone call quality. I don't want ROOT or any other customizations. Just stock T-Mobile Android 7.0. I have been attempting to use the following ROM's
N920TUVU4EQG3_N920TTMB4EQG3_N920TUVU4EQG3_HOME.tar .md5
N920TUVU4EQJ3_N920TTMB4EQJ3_N920TUVU4EQJ3_HOME.tar.md5
I am receiving the same error on the phone during the flash attempt "Secure Check Fail: (bootloader)
Running ODIN 3.12.10 as Admin
Installed Samsung USB drivers
USB Debugging is checked.
I performed the firmware swap with my Galaxy S7 with no problems. There were 4 files in the Zip when I did that process (each dropped in ODIN path's BL, AP, CP, and CSC), but I could not find these 4 for my Note5. Each time I downloaded from Updato or SamMobile there was only on "Ap" file. Is that the issue?
