Ia your phone slow too? It can happen if CPU is really busy. Do a full reset on phone and see if it helps and if not, a reflash.

I did not have this problem with the original HTC rom but I was having issues with the lag of that rom so I went back to stock 6.1ATT rom..
Whenever I am in a call and when I speak I can sorta hear myself speak.
Is there any registry setting I can play with to see if I can remove this issue?
Has anyone suffered this problem??
Thanks in advanced.

Hello, it happens to me every once and while, no matter what rom im using. usually and soft reset will fix it, and if that does not, turn off the phone completly and power back up.
Lupe
its bizzare. maybe its my phone?
But its also strange that it didn't happen in the past with the other image. I will try to re-flash and test my luck.
might try changing the radio, I have tried a few where it happens more than others.
I, like everyone else, have had the same problem. I just hang up and call again and it usually fixes it.... here is a link, don't know if it's true, that explains what's happening....

I agree, for me the echo seems to be radio and/or signal strength related. I seem to get it more if I'm on the edge of a 3G area, where it keeps switching between Edge and 3G.
Hi, my SGS is working fine all the while. But sometimes after i unplug the power adapter upon fully charge, the screen keeps blinking in the way like loading home(loading icons)->black screen->loading honme-> black screen->.....
it repeats for very a long time, even if i manually screen off then unlock the screen, the blinking problem still repeating. Until i reboot the device, it works fine again... Happened once in the middle of playing game, it suddenly 'jump' to home screen and the blinking problem begin
Wonder if this related to system crash and cause home screen keeps loading on and off or hardware problem... did anyone experience this?
I've never heard of this before. To diagnose whether it's a hardware problem, your only bet would probably be to flash a clean firmware. Maybe someone will have heard of this though.

thx mate for suggestion seems like its only me having this problem, so far has been flashed 2 custom roms, and problem persists, i think need to flash it back to old GB stock rom to compare it.. sadly warranty period has expired, hope its not related anything with hardware issue..

Try a stock firmware, that should tell you whether or not it's a hardware issue. If it isn't, it's probably kernel related. Hopefully you can figure it out!
i have got the same problem too.. =(( how to fixed it.. the screen keep blinking...
Flash stock firmware . Then if its fixed pls report here.

I've flashed from 2.1 to 2.3.6 and still it's blinking
Does anyone know how to fix it?
same issue
hi,
i have the same issue as well with 2.3.6, BaseBand version I9000XXJVU.
It is not a stock rom and it started appearing just a few days ago. It happens when i plug to charge it and after unplugging it. I have not noticed when it stops.
A friend of mine has the same issue, but with 2.3.4 stock firmware, so i think it is not firmware related.
Any new info on this? what could i provide for further troubleshooting
Main issue is of course that it drains the battery quite much and also allows you to mistakenly unlock the phone when the screen is on, so i was forced to put patter or PIN lock.
Cheers...

If you have ChatOn app try to uninstall it. Did work for me. (I my case the issue appeared when the internet was accessed via any browser. Same blinking pattern though)
Hi,
I am currently experiencing a problem with my finger scanner. It does not show up under settings.
Everything was going going perfectly a couple of days ago, but one morning, it was bugging si I decided to restart my phone. Since then, it disappeared from the settings menu.
Does someone else have the same issue?
Is there a way to say if it is due to a software or hardware issue?
Any thoughts?
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the advice, but I already tried it, two times just to make sure... Nothing changed.
The weirdest thing is that restarting the phone gave me access to the fingerprint scanner once, but disappeared 2 days later... Since then, have not been able to get access to it. This is why I don't know if it is hardware or software related.

You should also try to downgrade to older software using FF, if that doesnt work than its hardware problem. EDIT: Try wipe cache using stock recovery first

Unfortunately, no... I am now on B360, but still no finger sensor in setting menu.
I'll let you know if I find something!.
OK thank you. If I find something I'll let you know too.
The new software update b369 seems to have solved my problem...
Hello, I recently bought a galaxy note 8, it was a used one. The thing is, sometimes a horizontal RGB line appears for a millisecond where the status bar is located. It usually appears when I put the phone on charge, it comes and goes really fast and this also happens when i press the power button to lock the screen. My question is that will this cause problems in the future or not. Please let me know if someone has faced a similar issue before. Thanks

Make sure your phone is updated to the latest version of firmware.. I do recall some other people saying that but it was resolved after an update so I would suggest you try that first and if that doesn't fix it then you know there's something wrong with the screen.

I had android 8 on this device. At that time, I didn't notice this issue, after I updated to Oreo, I saw this issue, so, maybe it's because of the update?

It is that's why I said check and see if there's any other updates available yet.. It's not going to hurt it if you have to wait a little bit for the next update.

Have you tried a factory reset? I have seen these kind of issues develop after system updates. I usually factory reset after yearly system update to ensure that everything goes smoothly.
It can't be solved see this thread. Its an asus hardware flaw I m too facing this issue.Asus people are aware about this and they cannot do anything as it's a hardware flaw. This android 10 update ruined this beast of a phone.Mine went for a repair and after 2 days I faced the same issue.
