Hi guys, I would like to buy the above model but I still have doubts about the ghost touch problem! has it been fixed permanently? I would be able to get it for € 300 new version 4G Snapdragon

I got the new 4g model with SD 865, no issues, tested with the touch screen app tester and 0 problems
I suspect that touch layer has not changed in 4G (2021) model and the issue is masked by a software add-in, because most of my one finger swipe movements are simply interrupted on this model.
No, the problem is still there even after the latest update. I have the 5G Snapdragon model with manufacture date of 10/2020. Samsung refuses to acknowledge the problem when I show them 3 point touch test in screen test app. Multi-touch or on screen hand writing will expose the problem. A few keystrokes are missing pretty much everyday.

Hello
I want to buy Xperia z1 and I need your help..I have noticed there are some models which have problems with touch screen
some models have another panel for screen and this kind of problems..and because there is not any support center of sony in our country I can't send my phone back in case of finding any problem..So please help me how to find out my phone doesn't have any problem that I mentioned.Ho I can which model is fake and which one id not..
Thanks in advance
The problematic model is a mistery, but the made in Brazil ones FOR SURE are having assembly issues and causing touch screen problems.... China version is having too, but not with all phones (mine is made in china and is working perfectly).....
But to test leave the phone on a flat surface, wait 30 sec and try to scroll a page, or run any app that makes the phone goes hot and test if the touch will fail.... Make those tests in the store to make sure.

Not that im aware of, i believe that touch is the only issue, but dont be afraid to buy, this phone is a MONSTER!!!!
My Z1 is made in China, and sometimes i do get a touch screen problem when i am sending message, but it backs to normal after I lock and reopen the phone(but it rarely happens), and I ever got a camera issue when taking too much photo, the camera became error and unavailable, and extremely hot around the camera, waterproof, battery life etc are okay.

Yes, the images have a lot of noise and this is related to Software only. Was already confirmed it will be improved with the new FW. BTW in Automatic the camera do pictures in 8mpx only and sometime this settings are better for low-light, in Manual the camera do pictures in 20mpx and you have to play with settings, the only issue of the camera is that sometime you get white shadows on pictures because of flash to close to the lens but with some good settings you can avoid that.

It's not a common problem and yes, we forced the phone to get camera warnings. The camera stop working because of the temperature. For example after 2 or 3 banchmarks you start making pictures and the phone is hot already so still the possibility to get the message camera Warning of the temperature. This not happen all the time and it's not a issue, you will probably never get that message with the normal use so you can make even 50 pictures and nothing happen.

Yes, here the only way to understand is read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2462767
but someone said with the white balance option it can be improved the lcd looks. I did not have it so maybe you will not too.

Yes, C6902, C6903, C6906 and more, there are close the same but few of them have just a different band support like in the case of C6906 which is canadian model and support 700mhz LTE. If you are in Europe C6903 it's the right one with 4g and LTE, C6902 it's 3g only.
look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2477440

Everywhere you buy this phone there is a specification of which model it is, on the box or on the phone settings. If you buy via internet should be on the advertisement, if there is not ask for it.
So a few days ago I bought Huawei P9 plus and have been fiddling with it every since. Great phone btw. I'm running the Chinese firmware and haven't had any issues with it so far except for one major thing. Press touch is non existent.
When I press harder nothing really happens. In the phones settings there are no options for press touch whatsoever and there doesn't seem to be any solution online. Has anyone experienced this? Is this because of the firmware? I'm in Europe but I thought the biggest difference was the absence of Google now on tap.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
Or any way to check if pressure sensitivity works?
I'm open for any suggestions really.
The reason for the lack of Force/Press touch in your P9 Plus model may be quite simple (but not well-advertised unfortunately) - only the 128Gb versions have it.

Hi All, I purchased the handset from China and had the Global ROM installed on the handset. There is no issue with the performance however the screen started to flicker badly when I set the FPS to Ultra. I wonder if anyone having the same issue or have a solution to this issue? There is no issue when the FPS is to ULTRA. Your feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.
Never had that issue on any of my RM's or any of my other phones either.
Not specifically on ultra fps, I used to have my screen flicker when i changed the color tone in system settings.

Yes I noticed sometime I have the flicking screen randomly too. Have you solved the problem?
I was advised to set it to GPU Mode but I didn't find any improvement.

I went to service center and they told me that it's a motherboard issue and it's the first time they are seeing it. Mine was the global variant (US). But i returned the device. Goodluck

I managed to solve the problem. Basically just set the FPS 90Hz on the game made instead of Auto.

Hey guys,
i just bought a used OP3T, i've noticed the devices misses touch while typing, did anyone else experience this? is there a fix?
Device passes the inbuilt screen test from the menu "*#808#"
Using latest stock OOS with magisk.
Could be faulty digitizer, not to uncommon on these devices.

Hello there (General Kenobi)
Just got my brand new Galaxy S20 FE 5G a few days ago but I'm experiencing the touch screen issue. My phone is up to date but I still have the problem. When I have to scroll, the screen doesn't respond at all or thinks it's a tap on the screen and it suddenly goes crazy.
It does only occur on the bottom part of the screen after I unlock my phone from a long period of non use.
I contacted Samsung and they told me to get it to a repair center. But I don't know if this will work and I'm a bit scared that getting it to the center would make things worse.
I saw that Samsung already rolled 3 updates out to fix this problem but I'm still not sure if it is a hardware or a software problem.
Did you guys face this issue? Do you think it is a hardware problem and I should repair it?
It is a good phone and after having left the Pixels because of hardware problem I'm annoyed
*WELL hello there
I get the occasional unwanted zoom in a browser or failure to respond to touch, what you're describing sounds worse than the multitouch issue others have been reporting.
I'd give serious consideration to returning that phone for a replacement or refund. the current reckoning around here seems to be that this phone got a digitizer from a cheaper price range compared to other S20s. what you describe sounds like a faulty digitizer.
is putting up with it for a couple of years not going to bug the crap out of you ?
if they offer only to repair it, accept only a new screen / digitizer / glass swap out.

About the famous multi-touch problem I have to admit that I tried to reproduce it but it only appeared when I was using 5 fingers (instead of 2 in the videos I saw)
I think you're right and I should get it repaired. And I'll see after that if the problem is still here I'll ask for a replacement. I will post an update as soon as I get it back
Thank you!
If you don't mind, could you let us know your phone's hardware revision number? An app called Phone Info *SAM* can show it. People would be interested to know if Samsung has made any hardware changes to the FE line.
Okay guys I'm sorry I couldn't reply before. I had to sent my phone for a repair THREE TIMES ! The first time they didn't do anything but damaged the back of my phone (replacing the screen and the battery) and the problem was still here. The second time they sent my phone back with the battery literally filled (the back of the phone was also damaged due to the battery that had filled).
I got my phone back on last Friday. Seems to be OK. They told me they couldn't reproduce the problem. They just repaired what they did wrong but didn't seem to do anything with the touchscreen.
The phone looks OK. After 1 day of use, the touchscreen seems to be OK but I would like to wait a bit before adding [FIXED] to the title of the topic
Does anyone know if the 2021 version of FE the 4G Snapdragon (g780g I think) has the same problems with ghost touches and jittery scrolling? Can't find info on that anywhere. Deciding between the FE and 8T, but the risk of bad touchscreen is driving me away from it although it's better phone.

I'm sorry I couldn't tell you. I bought my phone around February and it has the problem. This is the 5G variant with Snapdragon 865. I didn't even know there was a 4G variant with Snapdragon (in France, it's either 4G/Exynos or 5G/Snapdragon).
The phone is great though and now my problem seems to be fixed I'm keeping my S20FE over the Pixel 5 even though I'm a Pixel fan.

actually it looks like that's the only issue he didn't have.
That all sounds like an Exynoss version He might be wrong, maybe it is Exy?
Haha I don't feel concerned about the problems that he had because coming from a Pixel 5 some of the problems he had was worse on the P5 (reception, sound quality and the fact that the device can get warm)
