I'm on color os 11.2 on my Find X3 Pro. I've been paying attention to the refresh rate today and in no circumstance have I seen it drop below 120hz.
I do a lot of reading on Google Play Books so I would've expected 60 maybe 30 maybe 1hz but it sticks to 120hz. Even without touching the screen fit a minute, it still won't go down

Thats odd....
Which firmware version?
If you play sth on YT does it go down to.60?
Yeah but it doesn't drop down to 1hz as advertised by Oppo, yet again more misleading information to increase sales. With adaptive refresh it will fluctuate between 60hz - 120hz. This was advertised previously on the U.K website but it's not present, I asked Oppo and they gave me instructions to switch between 60-120 and stated that the 1hz to 120hz with will be activated with a future update.

Hello guys,
Youtube now has real Super HD Videos (4096p) !! Yes its true and if you are on a slow connection it will take hours to buffer even a single minute.
But you don't need to buffer as some screenshots have already been posted here - Check out Super HD video screenshots!
Here is a pic iam posting here from here.

Catch the full story here.
Update: Its 4096p videos not 4000p.
they still look horrible compared to a normal hd movie; they really should have increased the bitrate instead of resolution
They are improving as of late though. I like their leanback feature too. http://www.youtube.com/leanback

Yeah have youtube leanback feature is also awesome : http://www.techit.in/youtube-launched-leanback/
Not sure about having a 25' screen for the 4000p But, googles leanback feature is very cool
Nice ladies galaxys!!
next time you better invite me
It isn't 4000p. The resolution is 4096*2304 at 24fps. Therefore, it is 2304p.
Its like calling 1080p video 1920p.

the logic doesn't apply to this resolution. youtube have come out with the resolution that is not yet properly defined. but it is progressive. if u make a good search, u'll find it's defined in 4096p and not taken the logic of height..
in fact, this resolution is completely different, its not wqhd, wfhd... no it's completely something else..
This resolution is called 4K (meaning you need 4 HDTV, each 1080p to watch this ). The area is 4 times larger as the sides are 2 times larger than full HD.
Personally I think it is BS. First of all you need expensive cameras like RED ONE to record videos. Second you need 4K display which are rare and also expensive. And most importantly the quality because of compression is not great.
Anyone else find the screen a little too low for use outside? Even at full brightness, if there's a little sun outside, I find the screen a hard to see. I've come from an S8+ and the screen was exceptional so I may have been a little spoiled.
Also, from the other threads I've seen, autobrightness activating after a reboot is a "feature", not a bug? Is that correct?
Other than that, I can't find much to fault about the P30 pro (I'm not even that bothered it's unrootable atm).
Well i have the opposite experience Auto brightness seems to be always too bright for me, and i have to constantly dim the screen. In direct sunlight it's very well visible. I'm on 124, and have a feeling that Huawei nerfed native Android 9 adaptive brightness function that is supposed to learn how do we set brightness in different conditions, and just left simple auto brightness. We'll se it over time if it will start adapting, or maybe the update will fix it. But i have no complaints about max brightness, it's even too bright for my taste in a sunlight.
I find it very dim outside, like even if it's cloudy out. It's max brightness doesn't compare to the lcd my P10 pro had. I'm finding it hard to edit pictures on here in the day.
I agree and find the display hard to read outside. Could it be that different units have different maximum brightness?

Thanks, It's already enabled.
I just read that the Mate 30 has two display suppliers, "Samsung Display or BOE Technology" If this is true for the P30 Pro it could account for the difference in brightness. Expecting BOE Technology to be inferior.
According to this site the P30 Pro has LG and BOA made screens: https://www.notebookcheck.net/The-H...ures-AMOLED-displays-made-by-LG.418210.0.html
I don't have that feeling. Under sun it is ok
Hey guys,
I have a new Hyundai Ioniq electric 2020 and they upgraded the screen to an 10.5" wide screen. However AA still only uses the left part, the right part being wasted with just the AA logo, like this:

Is there any way at all to make AA take up the whole screen ?
Thanks.
That's got nothing to do with wireless. It's all about the screen size the car reports to AA. Ones which do it properly work as expected. Ones that don't are like that. Daimler (Mercedes Benz) had/has a similar issue. AA does support widescreen.

Change DPI and resolution. Try some different values.
Good luck.

Yes I screwed up the title, meant to say "widescreen" not "wireless". Can't seem to edit the title though.

I think you're perfectly fine. Even better than me. I usually keep my 5G off - don't really need it most of the time and it drains the battery faster than 4G
Wanna trade?
But how long time should the battery stand screen on ,can it make screen on for 5 hr!?

What is the MiuiMix please!?
Put the refresh down to 60 or 90 , most apps I use don't support 120hz anyway.
I can even lower the resolution to FHD+ and it barely annoys me anymore
Especially if I know I want it to last the whole day
Changing from 5g to 4g helps a lot of if you're using it to navigate with Google maps, runs much cooler too

Something is wrong if you'd losing 70% that fast with everything turned down low, factory reset or new ROM probably best
This is a whine. Battery usage is different for every user. Depending on a variety of situations, like apps or features that autostart and/or run in the background, as well as refresh rate, how often you use the phone and type of usage, etc...
Hy there,
For the last two weeks I'm the owner of the Mi Ultra Global version (Deutschland) and I've noticed something weird for the last few days.
Being the best camera in the house, I mostly take the photos for my GF.
She has a Samsung Galaxy 20 FE, and when I want to send her the photos, by WhatsApp or an file transfer that we use called SendAnywhere, they come to her phone glitched. For example, from 30 photos, 10 are unusable.
PS. In my gallery, they are all oke, I can see them without any problems.

Do you know if it's a bug from me or maybe some settings in the camera that can cause this problem?
I've attached an example.
Thank you guys,
Alex
Settings, check the shooting format.
Forget the name but some advanced formats aren't viewable on none compatible devices.
HDR maybe?

HEIF I think you meant. It's turned off.
HDR Is so strong that a mid-range phone like the 20 FE doesn't support it?

I won't let WhatsApp, FB, etc run on my phone... I know better.
