Hi,
Ok, i tried ringing my kaiser from another phone and realise that the kaiser only actually starts ringing/vibrating and notifying of an incoming call ONLY after 2 rings from the phone making the call.
This has an overall effect on me knowing if i am going to get calls, missed calls and calls diverting to voicemail after 6 rings...
Can someone confirm they get the same problem...

Can't duplicate the problem here! It rings on the very first ring.
Hi
If the phone is in standby (it's normal state after a couple of minutes) then it will take about a ring or 2 for it turn on and sound the notification. This seems normal for all pocket PC phones. SmartPhone's behave more like normal mobiles and ring quicker as they are always on and don't have a standby mode like pocket PCs.
Having a ring tone on the storage card can also slow things down so make sure your ring tones are in the devices memory.

Same problem here.
If my phone in sleep/ON mode the incoming call will forward to voicemail.
Outbound call always work.
If I power cycle the phone, incoming call will work.
I think something not sync between the phone and the ATT network.
So ATT think my phone is offline.
Hi there,
i own a diamond for a week now and i have two strange problems.
one is, when i receive incoming calls sometimes i cannot hear my dialogue partner but he understands me. until i press one of the volume buttons at the side. i think this does not always happen, but in about one of three calls. i also think this only happens on incoming calls, not when i call.
second is, when i dial a number sometimes i don't hear it ringing. theres absolutely no sound until the called person receives my call. this is not reproducable and happens in about one of four cases. i can call someone and hear it ringing and immediately call again and it doesnt make a sound.
this does not sound like a hardware problem. i have rom 1.37.407.2 installed and i am from germany.
i hope someone can help me, this kinda pisses me off. thanks.
alright then, seems solved. I updated to the latest official Rom.
I live in NY, and as you all know, we had a huge ice storm and our power went out!! Needless to say, the first thing I did was get out my tilt and call up the power company, only to be greeted by 3 beeps and the call disconnected!! I did the same thing over and over, with the same results. Finally, I soft resetted and then minutes after the reset calls worked! Another problem is that when I pick up some calls, it goes right to the main screen even when I answer it!! Is it a radio problem?
Network problem due to the ice storm?
I am having trouble with phone calls. Whenever I am in an area or using wifi calling, my phone doesn't dial properly yet my contacts can receive a phone call like normal, in other words, it is a weird way how things dial and then my phone sounds like the speaker is on when it's not and then when I turn it on, the speaker sounds lower than when it was off. Help please?
So I was in the middle of a call a few days ago and accidentally hung up by pressing end with my cheek. Now, anytime I try to call that number back, I only hear what my mic on my phone picks up. I have tried every number in my contacts and it only happens with dialing one number. If the number calls me, no problems on either end. Any ideas why this might be happening?
