Have a micro ad card that works well on my fire 7 tablet. I tried putting it in my fire 8 hd, but would not mount.

[Q] 128GB SD Card + MicroSD Card Adapter = 128GB Nook?

Hi,
I was thinking of buying a 128GB SD card and this SD to MicroSD adapter http://dx.com/p/sd-to-microsd-transflash-card-converter-module-27001 and hooking it up to my Nook HD 7" for use with all those awesome emulators and the recent CM builds. Question is, will this work? Does the Nook even support SD cards that big? I don't want to buy something and find out it doesn't work the way I wanted.
Hi,
I have read both on XDA and on the official Barnes and Noble support site that people successfully tested and used 64gb micro SDXC cards. But for 128gb I am afraid none tried or reported yet.
If you do try it let us know it if works.

You would want that big thing hanging out of the bottom of your Nook?

Nobody report it because 128GB microSD doesn't exist.

No, he was talking about a 128GB SD, not microSD. That's why I said it would be a big thing hanging out of the bottom.

My Nook HD (8gig) can't seem to recognise my Samsung 32gig but can for my SanDisk 8gig. Is there some limit for the 8gig model? Should I just try buying a 32gig Sandisk one?

You should be able to see up to 64GB. Is the 32GB one you tried formatted properly. Try formatting it in the nook under settings, storage.

Yea, why would you want that hanging off the bottom of your Nook? And why do you need 128GB of storage for a Nook?
You could tape it to the back and out of the way.
I have

i have one of these, it doesnt work in the galaxy note, but it does work with my S3, there is also a post on you tube , its a rubbish review but you can see it working http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaQIkAHbHoE this should be great with the galaxy mega 6.3, and yes I'd just tape it to the back i dont care if it looks ugly, its only me that will really see it. Im confident it will also take the 256SD card but havent tried,
i also have the little adapter which is in the you tube video which works brilliant on my s3 and it sadly doesnt work on the note, it might work on the note 2 but havent tried it yet...

64GB card

OK Most of my 32GB card is taken up already with just games and comics. Instead of making another 32GB CM10.1 card for movies and books is there anyone who has gotten a 64GB card to work in their nook hd with CM10.1 ? Im asking because searching came up with this post:
"I use a class 10 sandisk 64gb on both my nook HD and transformer infinity. I believe sandisk and Samsung are the two biggest high end solid state manufacturers. In my experience any card no matter what class has been solid as long as it was made by them. The 64gb sandisk has worked well so far in my nook HD."
But its not very descriptive at all and gives no card model number. Thanks.
I am running my HD+ from a SanDisk 64gb Ultra U1 "class 10" and it's working well for me. I'd need to pull it for the model number.

[Q] USB OTG on droid turbo?

i am switching from a droid razr hd to a droid turbo. i have a 64 gb sd card full of my tv series and movie that i would hate to go to waste. so i wanted to invest in a dash micro. (shopmeenova.appspot(dot)com/st/order.html) does anyone know if it supports this?
I have one and can access files on it.
Ditto here too with that gadget for OTG. I have a 64Gb micro sd in that unit and can access it no problem.
I have the original Meenova with a 64GB card, and it works fine.
I have tried the newest Meenova reader and it works flawlessly

I have a question about Kindle Fire 7 tablet

Is there any mods or work arounds I can use to store Ebooks on the Tablet using an Micro SD card.
Because I am trying to use them to read on the tablet just to store them on there till I am ready to put them on my Kindle Paperwhite 2015.
