Hi,
I bought P30 Pro last month and I just realised that I can't use "scan a new card" Android feature because somehow it is using telephoto lens instead of normal one.
Is that a usual things with P30 Pro phones or I have some weird bug in the system?
I tried also Google Pay and same story - i cannot add card by scanning it because it is too using telephoto lens.
When I want to add loyalty card there - it is using normal camera lens.
Any way to solve this problem?

For a phone that costs around 20k in India, I find it weirdly amusing that it doesn't support Manual camera (according to the manual camera compatibility test app)
While, the android one, 1st gen (costing around 6.5k at the time of launch) has a manual camera support....
So, is it a hardware issue which doesn't support manual functions, or is it the issue with the OS.
If it's the issue with ZUI, do we expect future updates/custom modifiers to rectify it and have a manual camera support on the device?
The Android 7 build of Zuk 2 pro has a manual mode. I believe it should be out soon.

Bit frustrated here, I've got a new Huawei P20 Pro but I'm having issues transferring Android over from my Pixel(1) XL -
The Huawei seems to have some kind of Phone Transfer app, but it hasn't seemed to work properly.
Is there not an app that does all this crap?
When I got the Pixel, it asked me if I had an old Android, I plugged both phones together and it sucked literally everything off the old phone, including desktop backgrounds, ringtones, the lot, including all my mp3 files and pics etc!
Why can't the P20 do this as well? It's Android isn't it?
I've even tried searching on my Google Drive for a Backup that is there when I look at if on the Pixel ("Pixel XL Backup") but not there when I look on the P20!
So I've looked about a bit on the net, and the Pixel is Android 9 P and the P20 is Android 8.1.0 O - which is probably why the P20 can't see the Backup?
Please can someone help me, do I really have to wait for the P20 to get it's Android P update? When will that be? ?
There MUST be an easier way to do this?
Any help massively appreciated..
The p20 pro should get Pie pretty soon because the beta been done testing. Also it should be possible to restore from the google account because then it will only redownload the apps and then try to put in the settings but other then that i wont do much.

You're absolutely right. It doesn't seem to work as I also came from the Pixel XL. However, I upgraded my wife's Nexus 6P to my old Pixel and it also refused to restore her Nexus backup. It could be something on Google's end.

i tried this one and it works but (portrait and night sight does not work) also its not good.. the default camera app have much better quality and everything so yeah its not working properly maybe because we didn't unlock bootloader and root our phone

Just checked the stock camera app on my Honor 10 Lite, it supports Portrait mode.
No need for ports I guess...

I purchased a $1000 Samsung Galaxy Note 8
After an update (2018 october security patch)my Samsung Note 8's sensor stopped working done everything(flash,factory reset,clear cache reset some settings told by Samsung) but nothing happend it was clear that the update ruined the motherboard and it is very bad for me because I am out of warranty. Never thought that an update can finish a phone especially a big company like Samsung (and i will never buy any product of Samsung)

In camera I tried using it horizontally and vertically and it was working fine
Which sensor does Panaroma uses ?
And how is it working even if the sensors are destroyed ?
Can this be fixed ?
Could you elaborate what is not working on your device exactly? As I have installed Pie onto my N950N with 256GB internal storage and 6GB of RAM. Which would have cost $1000 when the Note 8 was launched. Everything is working perfectly fine after I installed Pie on it. All the features in the camera work, food mode, panaroma, Live Focus, Super Slow Mo, Slow Mo etc. The Fingerprint and Iris Scanner. Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, LTE Connectivity works perfectly without any issues.
After the new update to 12.5.10.0, I'm being unable to open camera app in my Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro Max , whenever I'm trying to open the camera app it just freezes and a pop up shows saying "can't connect to camera" any help to resolve this problem would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had this issue with an old phone. Solution was to switch cameras between GCAM and default. Reboot always helped.
Took to Mi Care, they changed my phone's Motherboard, covered within warranty. Camera works perfectly now.

I have changed my Motherboard but Before changing Motherboard, try out few steps first check if its hardware related issue call Mi service center they will guide you with checking hardware and if it is software related issue then 1st Clear camera app data in App Settings, 2nd Reset Your camera settings to default, 3rd If previous 2 methods didn't work just Factory Reset your phone and downgrade your MiUi software version if you know how, if you don't search at Google/YouTube if it's software related issue it will work. If you still facing problems visiting nearest Mi Care always works.
