Hello everyone. I moved from oneplus 6t to xiaomi mi 11 ultra not that long ago, so I'm kinda lost in some things.
I got mi 11 ultra Chinese version 3 weeks ago, everything was working fine. Then I updated my phone to miui 13 and everything was working fine as well, but then never update got out and I updated to miui 13.0.9 and after that seems like my rear display stopped working.
Like I get notifications on it, when I'm charging phone or someone calls me also working. The only one thing that doesn't work is when I'm trying to wake up rear display to show the time is not working at all. I went trouh some settings but nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Try to check this option. Mine is working fine
My rear display doesn't do much except display the time. Music controls and phone controllers never worked.

I'm facing the same issue. Miui 13 CN. Also, when we use it in shots the rear display gets frozen.
It seems the issue was solved by the last apk.
Rear display 1.4.7 APK Download by Xiaomi Inc. - APKMirror
Rear display 1.4.7 APK Download by Xiaomi Inc. - APKMirror Free and safe Android APK downloads

I tested the camera function, double-tap, and turn the rear display up. Everything worked well.

When I'm using WhatsApp's camera, it takes the 2nd camera by default, however after take the photo it shows me the photo taken by the principal camera. I would like that WhatsApp take the principal camera instead of 2nd by default. Any idea how to solve this issue?
Thanks in advanced

I suppose you are in android pie?
If so it's a known bug and I think xiaomi is the only one able to correct that
Someone reported in latest miui beta it was fixed, I tried but it wasn't ?️
No that specific bug is actually fixed in beta 9.1.24, at least in china sources / xiaomi.eu.
Both Whatsapp camera preview and resulting picture is the same as miui camera.
maybe not in global beta 9.1.24 ?

Not fixed for me. I'm on xiaomi.eu 9.1.24
Then clear app data and reinstall?
Afaik when that bug was active whatsapp preview looked like 2x zoom in miui cam and its currently far less than that
I'm on a fresh install of 9.1.24. just installed WhatsApp. It's still zoomed in. Also have blue or red tint.
Just reinstalled. First picture is MIUI Camera, second WhatsApp Camera http://imgur.com/a/zx8hHJq
Thats odd because the whatsapp bug was about the camera PREVIEW being zoomed in.
The resulting pictures were always fine
*edit*
Ok now I see what you mean, that's a different or new issue though.
Both preview and resulting whatsapp picture are slightly zoomed in. Like 1.2-1.3 zoom in MIUI camera.
During the known MIUI bug in 9.1.17 and earlier whatsapp camera preview was at 2.0 zoom.
So who's fault? Whatsapp? Xiaomi or both?

Please use a decent thread title. It's really unfair to cause people to dive all the way into youtube to figure out what you're asking.

I cannot set Messages as default.
Also, there is a notification: "This app won't work properly unless you Allow "Google Play services" request to access the following:
* Phone
To continue, open Settings, then Permissions, and allow all listed items."
Then have not Permissions to allow.
Yes i got it working mi9tpro ( i have global version with google dialer by default ) .
Pocof1 and Xiaomi A1.
Strange thing is that my crap carrier has a message+ app and didn't work with that lol.
I hope Google enables it by default from now on and improves on it.
I have a big problem with my Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi.eu 12.5.4 installed. I have a Galaxy Watch Active 2 and my watch faces and samsung account is not loading in my Galaxy Wearable app, watch bluetooth vinculation is working good but samsung acc loading and importing no. I tested 3 other diferent Xiaomi phones: Redmi Note 10 (Stock global 12.0 rom, no rooted) and working fine, K30 Pro Zoom (Xiaomi.eu 12.5.2, rooted) working fine and POCO F3 (Xiaomi.eu 12.5, rooted) and working perfect also. Installed the required apps, samsung accesory services, watch 2 active plugin and galaxy wearable. I tried everything and 2 diferent wearable app versions but nothing is working, maybe an app compatibility issue with this phone? I upload a photo with the loading error screen and not showing watch faces:

Strange! My Galaxy Watch 1 is working fine with both the original Chinese and Global Rom on my 11 Pro (not the newest ones). The only drawback on the Chinese from is the annoying notification access request every day despite having granted it already.

Under optimization, you need to Enable Developer Mode, go all the way down, disable MIUI Optimization and that's it. If you happen to be on Global ROM - click permanent in AOD setting also. Enable all these. So far mine is there but it gets dim after a period of time.

If I turn off MIUI Optimization that cause several another problem. e.g. all app all permission are deleted about every week that is more annoying than AOD issue (I tried that) permanent is clicked also in AOD settings. So I need another 'harder' solution unfortunately but thanks for the answer
Go to the third option and put some one hour without AOD, between 2 and 3 in the night for example.
I set to switch off the AOD from 00:00 to 05:00 and in the rest of the time the AOD don't disappear.

Hi!
I've been trying to turn on the NFC feature on my phone, but I didn't succeed.
I've.-
* Cleaned the cache and data of the NFC app (and then rebooted the mobile).
* Turned off the battery saver.
* Reset the network configurations.
* Looked for the NFC feature on my mobile, but it's not listed (so, I can't activate the NFC).
I only didn't remove dual apps (because I've WhatsApp with two different numbers).
Is there a solution to fix this? I've considered installing Android One to fix my problem, but this is my last option.
I'm using a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, with MIUI Global 14.0.3 stable.
Thanks in advance for your answers!

hello,
you have posted this on the Redmi Note 10 5G forum, and you might have confused with your Redmi Note 10.
if youve either forgotten to mark your phone as the Redmi Note 10 5G, then it is a hardware issue.
since youve also said that you cannot find the tile of NFC, then it is probable you have the Redmi Note 10, where it does not have a NFC.
check the specifications herehttps://m.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_note_10-10247.php

Oh, I didn't notice it (the specs). Is there a specific channel for Redmi Note 10?
