Question Help up Redmi 9T - Redmi 9 Power / 9T

Good afternoon, first I apologize for my ignorance, but I'm totally new to changing the "ROM".
I have a Redmi 9T with Miui version 12.0.6.0 QJQEUOR and I don't want to mess up, my question is how to know if a ROM is the right one to do it safely.
Thanks in advance and again I apologize for my ignorance.

Any way to Root the Mi9T yet?

Hey guys. I couldn't find anything here for the Mi9T which is the European Version of the K20. Does someone know if there is a way yet to Root the Mi9T?
Edit:

Magisk 19.300 work?! Thanks
Look into the Mi 9T / K20 forum, root is possible.
Magisk manager and boot.img from rom used! Is it right?!

Miui 11 & android 10

Hi respectful developers,
I bought Redmi K20 Pro from Australia, on the back of the device it is labelled as Redmi K20 pro but in the about phone section it is Mi 9T pro as prior to exporting it to Australia, exporters unlocked the bootloader and installed the global MIUI 10 (see snapshots).
Now the question, will this device in my hand get MIUI11 and Android 10? If yes, when? Will this update revert the device to the Chinese MIUI 11 ROM? If yes, how to get the official global MIUI 11 for the Redmi K20 pro?
I am currently residing in Egypt and would very much appreciate your good technical assistance.
Regards,
Mohamed Atteya
Basically they flashed 9T global ROM in your K20 pro. Which further means the bootloader is unlocked, if yes, you will still get OTAs when they arrive and you will be able to install them, OTA will come of same ROM and not of a different region so rest assured you won't go back to chinese.
HOWEVER. If you will use miflash tool to flash any other region's ROM, MAKE SURE you DON'T check on CLEAN ALL AND LOCK option in bottom right corner. Only check CLEAN ALL. This is because locking a bootloader with different region ROM installed bricks your phone.

Try to change your region to other country like Spain or Germany, reboot your phone and check your system update (updater).

Regarding when you'll get OTA, it will eventually come as per their dates

Go to the official xda Magisk thread, it's very easy to find. You'll find all the info needed. It has very good documentation on there. There is nothing unique to installing on this phone, or with Xiaomi.eu ROMs, so all the info you find is relevant.
Hello thanks a lot, i installed magisk normally, very happy to install ir thx[emoji3]

New user! K20 pro updates. Will I receive updates automatically?

Hey guys I'm new here. I just bought the k20 pro second hand and it's my first xiaomi phone. It is raphael with the MIUI Global 11.0.2 Stable on it (11.0.2.0 QFKMIXM), it also says mi 9t pro on the phone model. I just write to you all I see I also believe it has unlocked bootloader. As I see the current global update should be 11.0.3, I was wondering if my phone will automatically update to it or if I have to do it manually. I'm a newbie and I would prefer automatic things...
Second question: is there any difference between the global and eu rom? I mean should I consider to use this one instead for any reason?
Sorry for my ignorance, thank you!

Has anyone tried Redmi 9 (Lancelot) Official Lineage OS on Poco M2 ?

As the title says it all, Poco M2 (SHIVA) and M2 reloaded are identical (with M2 having 6GB RAM) running currently on MIUI 12.5.7 Android 11 Indian Variant.
Will Redmi 9 (LANCELOT) ROM work on M2 ? Or should I wait for LAVA ROM ?
I have seen posts saying Poco X3 Pro 9Bhima) rom works on Vayu units (one has NFC the latter doesn't)
I couldn't unlock my Redmi 9 bootloader, at first it said couldn't verify smth then I signed out and in again into my Mi account and now the Mi Unlock app on my PC says to wait 168h
Am I supposed to unlock bootloader before or after downgrading from MIUI 13 to MIUI 12?
Thanks
